  1. Oh wow haha he's still around, quality. I'm looking forward to hearing how he's been getting on. Yes he did seem to be obscenely lucky, either that or he just doesn't show us his losses... and therefore must have waaaay more money than me that's for sure Or perhaps those strategies really ARE just some outside-the-box thinking ??!
  2. Your absolutely right that they wouldn't have paid you if you had won, that being the case though wouldn't they also have to refund your deposits at that time as well? As refuisng to pay your winnings is effectively the same as refusing to take your bets isn't it ? I'm not terribly clued up on this aspect of the new legislation, I take advantage of the deposit limit functions at most casinos just incase I get a bit out of hand after a night out drinking but I never use the take a break or exclusion features as I just don't need them... Massive respect to you for realising you had a problem and taking steps to get it under control. If this casino definitely did exclude you previously I'd definitely want to know what the deal is with you suddenly starting to receive emails from them again. Without knowing who it is I can't really make a guess on if there could be any malice involved. In this situation though I personally would say it's only right you get your deposits back, or at least the majority of them.
  3. Yeah fair enough, I definitely think its a good thing that specific rules are in place regarding things like this. I certainly wasn't defending such behaviour, just saying I could see how it might come about with new or quiet casinos.
  4. Do the regulators have specific conditions that relate to things like this ? I guess if a casino is running relatively unknown or less popular software then it could certainly be a bigger issue as players wouldnt be familiar with the kinds of hits that can be expected from those games, meaning any inaccurate "win reel" would definitely be misleading advertising. I just didn't think most players cared much about those things though, because the size of stake isn't given alongside the win amount - seeing that a player won £5,000 on any game means zero to me if the stake could have been £500 or more.
  5. It may not be entirely ethically correct, but I can nevertheless see why a new casino might decide to "bulk out" their winners roll in the early days to make the casino appear a little busier than it really is. Perhaps the code hasn't even been written properly to reflect real winners, as their simply weren't any at the time the code was written? (sloppy yes, but possible). If you complained about it and they went on to fix the issue so it now appears to display correctly, I think that's pretty much okay. Casino's commit far worse indiscretions upon their players! Have you actually got money on balance there that you have been unable to access due to the lockout of players from your country?
  6. So, am just browing the forum for the first time in a LONG while and spotted a couple of threads I participated in ages ago which involved... [drum roll please].... a guy who went by the name "Johnnygotthebone" ... ?! I'm fascinated to know at this point, did it ever become clear whether he was just trolling us all (at gold medal standards, for sure if thats actually the case) or if he was actually for real with all that stuff he said? I seriously can't remember when it was that I gave up interacting with his threads myself and might well take a look at a few to help jog my memory but figured it might be worth asking the community for any notable nuggets of information ?? The guy caused epic debates from what I remember so I'm convinced there will be a few people who remember the chaos that kicked up as soon as this guy began posting at a new forum ... I'll be well disappointed if it turns out nobody else even paid attention or remembers the whole carry on One of the guys I used to hang about with got WAY too sucked into arguing with the guy and I've lost touch with him a while back so if you happen to spot this Wayne please message me ASAP, need to speak to you urgently mate!

  9. Hey everyone! I've been planning to get into some new slot reviews this month, so I figured the first step would be to get some screenshots together to satisfy the new image upload requirement... and I have to say, so far it's proving to be a nightmare! No doubt I picked a bad first game being Playtech's Age of Gods - God of Storms, but it seems hitting 50x your stake on this game is extremely rare :S .. .there's not really any bonus round, just a Starburst style respin feature that activates when a full-reel wild drops. Of course there are plenty of games where a 50x bonus round shouldn't be too difficult to hit, but what about the super low variance games and slots such as the one I mentioned above? This rule will surely result in many games never getting a review won't it? I personally just lost two deposits (£50 total) trying to get a single screenshot from this horrible game and definitely don't plan on having another try anytime soon...So my thought is, wouldn't a minimum of 25x be just as effective as a method of verifying players genuinely do have experience with each game? (I assume that's the reason for the screenshot requirement ??) How are other players getting on with hitting these screenshots to accompany their reviews? I only wish I'd made more of a habit of taking screenshots in the past, I did have quite a collection on an older computer that was sadly stolen, although most of the games I'd like to review are recent releases anyway so I guess they wouldn't be of that much use. I'm planning to hit some Thunderkick and Play'N'Go slots over at my trusty video slots next with the autoplay settings setup to pause on anything over 50x.... wish me luck fellow degenerates

  11. I don't bother with any Rival casino these days, infact I'm not sure if there's even a UK-friendly one around now? It's a shame as I quite enjoyed some of their slots and found their table games to be very fair as well as fast and pretty. I seem to remember the Eurotech group ***** me over at one point but the "Crazy Luck" name doesn't ring a bell.. have these guys got a history of opening/closing brands as the complaints mount maybe? Whatever the case, I feel sorry for the OP - in future, make sure the places you are depositing are licensed by the UKGC and I am real sure you'll have no issues again. I know that doesn't help much right now and it sucks big time but try videoslots.com if you haven't already - they'll add you an extra £10 after your first deposit and you earn lots of wager-free rewards in your first few weeks play, with a little luck maybe you can win again

  13. Well the front page declares that all customer funds are safe so get in touch with them and see what they say. Why was the withdrawal request refused? It always bugged me that they would take so long to pay out, yet once it got to the 5 working days or whatever it was they made you wait, I'd go on live chat and say err, still not got my payment and they would just put it through in seconds... why can't they do that on day 1 if they have the facility available? I won't miss them!
  14. Aww, I'll bet Amy will be really pleased to hear she's still remembered here. We're not actually together now but we are still great friends and often sit gambling together on a Friday night ... cursing at each other when one of us is having horrible luck and the other is hitting bonus after bonus! Not sure why she doesn't bother posting on the forums anymore, she's never off that b****** facebook rubbish, drives me insane!! Despite signing up to so many new casinos this year, the vast majority of my play is still at Videoslots... I mean if I'm going to spin I may as well be earning my weekend booster and race points hadn't I ... and the more or less instant withdrawals are unbeatable too. That said, casinos such as Guts, Casumo and GDay have tempted me into a little play with their excellent promotions, and despite the fact I *know* the slots are the same no matter where I play, sometimes you just cant help but feel your on an awful run of luck at some particular casino... know what I mean?
  15. I'm looking at several casino pages such as: https://www.askgamblers.com/casino/guts-casino-review-r4435 https://www.askgamblers.com/casino/thrills-casino-review-r4513 https://www.askgamblers.com/casino/casumo-casino-review-r4456 And only see three reviews for each casino despite the bar along the top indicating there should be 96, 88, 162 respectively. Clicking "show more" doesn't seem to do anything in either Chrome or Firefox. Anybody else seeing this? Figured it was worth reporting just incase it is a global issue.
  16. Ha, its pretty much a scam then for sure. I remember the Betfair one and did win a few spins from that if I remember correctly... definitely not often though, once again. This time I haven't beaten the keeper once as yet. Paddy Power have certainly gone downhill, I remember my ex playing there all the time... we're still great friends now and I haven't seen her on there at all this year. The William Hill scratch of the day promotion is pretty decent yeah, I keep getting sports bet stuff though which is tempting me into putting bets on the football despite being pretty much clueless about the game
  17. Hi all! Who's been playing Paddy Power's daily "Beat The Keeper" world cup promotion or the past few days? I've tried every day since the beginning of the world cup and haven't managed to get a single ball past this guy as yet. I'm just wondering if anybody here has had more luck than me? Or is it just insanely difficult to win anything from this garbage promotion, as I currently suspect?!
  18. I've never had to wait longer than a day for a payment from Redbet, though I do agree they have gotten progressively worse over the last year or two. I used to be able to request my withdrawal be paid immediately via Live Chat, but they stopped allowing that at some point and it's now anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours before the money arrives in Skrill. Still better than most, but not up to their previous standards.
  19. Wow, sure seems quiet around here at the moment - only one review for the whole of last month?! I keep meaning to get around to adding a few myself, I must have tried 50+ new casinos easily since I last wrote here, just never quite get around to it though. Perhaps, like me, everybody is just busier these days - or is there another reason why its so much quieter at the moment?
  20. Funniest thing is, I've made more money literally just buying bitcoin since the beginning of this year and holding on to it than I have from playing online casinos. The majority of cryptocurrencies currently exist only to be traded, which is in all honesty nothing but gambling anyway. I'm a big believer in the technology and I do occasionally gamble a little of my coin when theres a big spike in value, but the volatility is so crazy at the moment you can end up adding a few % to the house edge just by having your funds in the casino for 24 hours! Better off playing with fiat !
  21. Ever won big twice in one night? I know I have, which would surely be impossible if the games were remembering when you won a lot so as to compensate and take the money back from you later... some people suggest the games have some kind of "win limit" which lets you keep hitting upto a certain point before taking it all back, but the truth is if you play for long enough you'll eventually go bust no matter what - the math of the game makes this inevitable. So, as everybody else said... nope, the slots aren't remembering your wins... They might just hate you though!
  22. Usually your deposited funds are used before the bonus money so it really wouldn't make any sense to let you complete wagering as long as you didn't dip into the bonus money... many players could potentially clear the bonus funds to cash that way without ever wagering them... agreed though, only allowing NetEnt for wagering is surely going to end in a bust more times than not - the curve between small wins to large ones is real steep on NetEnt in my experience. gotta be so lucky to win more than maybe 100x-150x your stake!
  23. Seems unusual for this group to stall over this sort of amount... you say you have made previous withdrawals therefore I assume your account was already verified when you made the request two weeks ago. Has it been removed from the reversible status in your account as yet? I would get on the live chat and explain the previous misunderstanding of one person saying it had been sent on the Monday and another telling you it was still pending authorisation ... ask for a clarification on the current status and a definitive timescale on when you can expect to receive the payment. If there is any further delays after the date stated then absolutely start a complaint here at AskGamblers - if you have followed all of the casino's rules then you should have no problems sorting this out through that method, but of course it's not at all acceptable that you have to resort to this just to get your legitimate winnings!
  24. Hey there Hazard! You mention two scenarios where the frequency of a 10 being dealt seems unusually high - when the dealer upcard is a 10 and when the players first two cards total 12. Although there are of course 4/13 ten value cards in the shoe, the expected frequency of a ten being dealt is skewed significantly by the use of eight decks and shuffling after every hand. When you consider that only the first ten or so cards are ever going to be used before the next shuffle plus the fact that ten value cards outnumber the rest of the numbers by a factor of more than 3:1, its unsurprising that those first few cards often contain a high percentage of tens and faces. Perhaps more shocking is the fact that this constant reshuffling actually benefits the player, as theoretically it should result in the player receiving many more starting 20's plus causing the dealer to bust more often. I must agree that neither of these benefits "feel" as if they have any measurable effect on my own play, however! My own experience is that Microgaming's "virtual" blackjack is by far the most generous - I like to play the two deck no hole card game eg. "Premier Blackjack" or "European Blackjack Gold", although the rules are fairly dull(though you can draw to split aces which is nice!). I think the Vegas Downtown uses four decks and gives you the option to double on any two cards, split to four hands, double after split etc so can be a little more interesting but is also much higher variance. Premier Blackjack has an autoplay feature which can be set to play a large number of minimum bet hands and then the results exported from the playcheck feature and loaded into a spreadsheet for analysis, which is perhaps the simplest method you can use to check the fairness of your results!
  25. Oh yeah there is in UK/Australia and they eat boys like us for breakfast!
