cocopop3011 Posted Tuesday at 04:53 AM Posted Tuesday at 04:53 AM Do you set a gambling budget every week or month? Please answer the poll above and let us know if you do or not Quote
Blackjax Posted Tuesday at 07:36 AM Posted Tuesday at 07:36 AM I used to have a gambling budget of €200 per contest where the first prize was above €200. This would be anywhere between €400-€600 per month. This was before the new payout structure came into play. cocopop3011 1 Quote
loceff13 Posted Tuesday at 10:31 AM Posted Tuesday at 10:31 AM Yep, the days of loss chasing etc are long behind me. These days I tend to stick to small deposits with bonus offers and lowrolling as a 20c 1000x brings me enough enjoyment. If the NZ gambling law coming into force in ~December this year is effective with casinos blocking NZ players I might play substantially less as playing at VPN friendly casinos does not seem fun/safe to me. Icy Posted Wednesday at 01:26 PM Posted Wednesday at 01:26 PM Usually! I let the minimum deposit and the small bets do the work in the hopes of landing a super rare max win, should they exist outside bonus buys, so I can feel like a Loceff13 that impresses and puts the hots on a Cocopop3011 without being fully interviewed by a reporter Afi4wins. kuff 1 Quote
lucks_maximus Posted Wednesday at 05:30 PM Posted Wednesday at 05:30 PM My "gambling budget" for slots is set by me only taking fat deposit bonuses and is more-or-less self-sustaining, as the money won from either gambling or won on forum contests let's me avoid having to make further deposits from the bank (though ONLY because I don't play much nowadays). Sports betting is beyond self-sustaining and has been for a while. I almost never play slots on the sportsbook that has most of my gambling bankroll like I used to since they booted me from their main slots promotion in an douchey way. Icy 1 Quote
formerPokerpro Posted Wednesday at 05:52 PM Posted Wednesday at 05:52 PM i am very happy that its not necessary for me either similar to @lucks_maximus all my gambling is funded by itself nowadays. enough money on skrill to take some nice bonuses and to make the occasinoal raw depo on stars. i never chase losses since thats the way to lose everything and i mostly lowroll slots. discipline is the most important skill when u want to be sucessfull at gambling! lucks_maximus and Icy 1 1 Quote
cristalbenaim Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Yes, always. I don’t really see it as a “budget” anymore, more like a hard stop before I even start. If I deposit, I already assume that money is gone, and if I’m not okay with losing it, I shouldn’t be playing that day Quote
