If volume is measured in hours logged in, then yes I am definitely up there But as for depositing and wagering, it's not been anything out of the ordinary really. But I've used them regularly for about 4 years now (I'm at 98% RTP give or take) and it all adds up. Their VIP program is based on lifetime deposits alone, and I recently reached 'Duke', which is the 3rd highest level (this program has real good rewards, btw. Duke was 300 EUR, and the next, which I am 10% in to is 500 EUR). I don't think they care much if you're a winning or losing low to mid-roller (clearly, the real whales probably get super treatment), I think what matters is that you keep returning and keep those reels spinning, and the transactions flowing.

Some casinos offer sign-up freebies but you will have to make a minimal deposit either way. This is to activate and verify your payment method. This is common practice and legit. Other casinos are outright frauds, and like pointed out by @Blackjax, this particular casino gets the alarm bells to chime.

Now something disturbing: I've noticed lately an unethical practice going on, where these so called VIP hosts from casinos where I've played have moved on to other casinos, and they have brought my details along with them. For instance, I was contacted by my former VIP host at Lucky Friends, who had shut their doors. She claimed to now be working for Stake and would have a real good sign-up deal for me if I would let her recruit me.
