You don't really need that much for ID fraud to be honest - loans out in names, applications for certain products (i could say how you can do it on here but probably not best to demonstrate - I used to work in a fraud department). A lot of information is out there so i wouldn't be overly worried. But put it this way - if you got an email from Dr Zeus, Location Costa Rica asking for relatively sensitive data (including payroll), would you email them back and go here you go? Course not, so certainly not a casino based abroad who, and i say this kinda tongue in cheek but not really, are possibly criminally backed organisations in some cases. Just be wary - you can never prevent ID fraud, per se, but you can certainly make it harder for them. Even if they're legit, generally speaking, their security won't be as good as UK/EU operations - eg. our public sector bodies in Scotland are prohibited from storing data in cloud based application unless we can be guaranteed it is in a cloud server in the UK Sign up to Clearscore/Credit Karma/MSE Credit expert if you haven't already and are worried (tho i wouldn't be) - they're free for the 3 main credit reference agencies.

Nearly... In all likelihood, morally depraved and greedy affiliates, so kinda the same thing. Same as the affiliates who promote 'we accept UK, Gamstopped players!' Some of these guys don't care who they promote - i normally have a good feel whether the sites are run by decent folk by warning signs eg. if i see Gale and Martin/888 all being recommended, you can normally bet that they promote every dodgy one going - ergo, the reviews are worthless.
-
Side note - there were rumours of Casumo leaving the UK - they told affiliates not to market to UK etc. They've been hit with fines for various regulatory breaches (they're still breaching as we speak in other areas) so i wouldn't be surprised to see another UKGC fine coming their way in the near future. Whilst the UKGC don't respond individually, well i've seen some some specific responses, the whole underage think will likely perk their interest - maybe more so now as their whole existence is under scrutiny after the last parliamentary report.
-
Looks like a very clear case of breaching their regulatory requirements. I find it hard to believe though that Casumo use UK based electronic verification - reason being is you always need to send them in documents IMO - compare that to Bet365/Sky who, because UK based i think, do it in the background. So if they never asked for it...then i'd be very surprised to hear they're using Equifax etc identify verification even with reference to 'technical partners'.hmmmm. Mrs P signed up to a place last month and because they don't electronically verify, had the a/c paused instantly upon registration until she suppled them with stuff. Which is how it should work. If they did get a 'positive' match from their 'technical partners' then they might want to have a word with them because it may not be working.

Cashback value - How do they get to this amount?
pinnit2015 replied to stevie37's topic in Ask Gamblers
Jesus, you spunked the whole 10k back What's the name of the site? - hard to know what bets sum is - is it what was wagered and payoff sums is what was paid in winning per spin? I like any cashback to be simple - be it L and L's 10% back as cash on losing deposits or simply Deposits - Withdrawals *% (which, strictly speaking L and L is) Presume it'll just be CB on the 50euro's. Some sites, like Quinn and Bet Victor, used to give you % back on winning as well, which is a nice top up. -
Long story short, they shouldn't have accepted a bet from her/you/mismatch of details. Their age verification has, if the above is correct, failed. Or not done. if an operator has not yet verified the name, address and date of birth of any customer, they will need to have completed verification before allowing that customer to gamble. Operators will therefore need to prevent any unverified customer from gambling until they have gone through the verification process. That came into effect in May-20. Casumo's support has really gone downhill - last time i waited 4 hours for a bog standard CS query. Utilise the complaints procedures, here or elsewhere. They've had their knuckles wrapped a few times by the UKGC and IMO are becoming as dodgy as any Curacao casino with some of their practices. Put a Subject Access Request and see what checks were actually done/if any.
-
Considering google finds it hard to find them and the fact the site looks like it was created during someone's lunch hour, might raise a red flag. No licence information. They should have offered an alternative withdrawals method - to offer up hubby's a/c? Sorry, but that's madness by them. Based on that, maybe you'll see the money, maybe you won't - that's the problem when you play at places like these. Why you playing there from the UK - Gamstop? Re info...well, logically, how do you think a place like this approaches data security? Ermm, not much would be my guess

Novibet Unibet Nektan Casinos Grosvenor Aspire Global casinos Videoslots All sound, though watch out for Nektans x4 bonus conversion if you take bonus's. Included Aspire Global but i personally wouldn't play with them. Personally, Unibet by a mile - instant cashouts and tournaments: IMO the best of them all. Forgot to add L and L casinos: Hyper/Yako: another top outfit. Videoslots if you fancy some 91% RTP games and customer support that is as flexible as Margaret Thatcher - if you have a problem with these guys there is no leeway (compared to L and L): decision made, no dialogue, end of.

Oh aye, forgot about Finn's Tavern - the first one wasn't bad for wagering actually. But the second one is terrible. Pink Elephants 2 is just, well PE with a wee change. Neither good/nor bad, not that i was a fan of the first. Is Lil Devil DHV2? Probably not, maybe a bit but not a bad follow on from DHV, with massive hit potential.

Grosevnor Experiences? Also, any recommendations?

Well it's more a business 2 business relationship - same as Casumo having BTG as a provider and even evolution themselves. As far as i know there are very few casinos who also own the software providers - off the top of my head 3 Dice; they're a casino who make their own games etc. Topic for another day i suppose but from a fraud/bad practice point of view there is the argument that why would a company, so massive, risk it all to influence games that are in the favour anyway. Greed? (Volkswagen/Tesco, all massive, all shown to have committed various 'erroneous' activities). We'll probably never know- 7 replies

Evolution? I've no evidence but there are too many stories regarding some weird play for there not to have an element of something amiss there - why i don't play online on Live Casino really: dealers lifting the second card on the deck, numbers called out and changed. I dunno. There's just summat. Even so, it's the software provider anyway so regardless of what casino you're playing it they'll still, unless pirated, lifting it from the same place. Just read - not live then, scrap that I'm even less a fan of the computer card games - at least slots give the impression of randomness Yeah, 10 quid isn't a massive buffer - less chances to go on a run etc - same for slots, I hit ok on small deposits here and there but generally i prefer to give them a good run on a 100-200.- 7 replies

Remember as well that TS has had the RTP reduction version released so you always need to check, if you're that way inclined, if you're playing the reduced ones. Very nice of Netent/Casinos to do so.

First one wasn't great, though not bad - second one looks a lot cheaper though. Problem with Netent is their variance gets worse with each release - pay like low/med variance, play like HV - the worst combo you can get. IMO the only decent sequels are TS2, Jack Hammer and DOA2 - neither DOA games are what you would call enjoyable tbf but DOA2 is an improvement in that it can, and will, give you enough cash to buy a decent car for less than 10p; of course, with such a high prize, comes a price - a variance so great it makes No Limit games look like Jumanji.

Recent Gaming Experiences July August 2020

Bitstarz? Must admit, not that keen on the RTG games that US players have, would probably chuck it if that was all there was was for me to play Deadwoods an excellent game - as close to a true High Variance game as you get. No Limit have near mastered HV. -
Go play somewhere decent (and with your own paypal L and L casinos, Novibet (though their last support to me left a sour taste) and probably 2 of IMO the best. Sky Vegas, 99% sure, will give you no grief And, unlike greedy BGO, don't charge deposit fees - you're from the UK, there is NO REASON, to pay these.

In the UK, if you do, they'll normally hit you with some Responsible Gambling related as it normally raises their RG red flags.- 1433 replies

You may kick it to ecogra then. If the deposit was invalid, it wouldn't/shoudn't be accept (Collins English Dictionary) - but it was. So, that's obviously been written by a child. Wonder what would happen (though not recommended as may cause problems) if you son contacted them and said 'Oi my Paypals been used on an account not in my name; - would BGO just go, tough? How do they know it's not been stolen and used?

Take on the Kraken at Ego Casino
pinnit2015 replied to EgoC's topic in Casino Bonuses and Promotions
It's a shame your friends didn't tell you it's poor form to go onto a site like this with a spammy link to another site. -
Yeah, they really aren't a good outfit - they're been in and out of other sites as well, mainly out as they have very little, if any, interest in dialogue. They play the old GDPR, we can't discuss card, as well. Probably fine to play with if you've no issues but when u do you run into a brick wall with them - got a bit of the 888's about them (though not as bad)
-
I would certainly ask for it - i know some folk in the same situation that have had them back (I can name 2/3 that would do it without you even asking) Whether that's laid out in regulations, I don't know, but seems a common sense approach - you surely can't have it both ways - take the deposit and will never pay out. Given their love of regulations etc, wonder why they charge for deposits as well? They don't do it for all types of deposits which, AFAIK, not allowed (hence why Rizk stopped it) - funny that. I wouldn't lose sleep over it, nor would i chase hoping to hit again - harsh lesson learned.
-
They should be refunding the deposits then - they were never going to pay out, so ergo, deposits back. By that logic (and not in your case) they'd be happy to accept stolen funds? gamsys group got in trouble for exactly that.
-
Not that common, not that uncommon. Presumably they're checking to see if you received the 5th withdrawal. They only really need to see the dates from the withdrawal request, no need for them to see beforehand. Few years ago i'd something similar and refused to send it - it was only for 100 quid - they stated, unequivocally, that they would not resend money as no return errors etc. Due to the amount i just let it band about for a few weeks and, hey presto, it was sent in Week 3 as the return report suddenly appeared, as if by magic. Suppose it depends on the amount - if it's a large amount some folk will just bite the bullet and send rather than fight with them etc. Tip - if you send it and then suddenly you find responsible gambling queries/limits imposed etc then they've not used it for the original purpose and that's one thing, in addition to be illegal, that i would spit the dummy out over. They do have a lot of personal information, i think too much, but that's no reason to give them more (in general - though sadly the UKGC seem to think otherwise from recent emails i've seen) - some people seem so blase in sending casino's, particularly those based abroad, information - seen and heard folk sending them tax returns/3 months full bank statements and reasons for 20 quid bank transfers to these places - personally, i think it's madness but each to their own.
-
Yeah, that's the 'proper' VIP schemes you hear about - only really had it at Bet Victor: Silverstone invite, paid and put up in hotel and few horse racing derby's with a grand betting money etc - way back in 2006/7. Days long gone now - some big wins, but some massive losses.
-
Update on these guys - finally got rid of the whole 'once you withdraw the money stays in the account until processed', debacle. The above was really the only bad thing i'd to say about them - apart from dragging their heels over Gamstop. Withdrawal times have increased a tad over the last 3-6 months, but tbh never more than 2 hours.
