  1. No, they can't just keep money if you 'fail' SOW - whatever that means. They either have to do 2 things: 1. Close the a/c and refund monies due - probably the most common 2. Refer it onto the National Crime Agency who, presuming all fine, will then OK the transfer of money to you. Any casino that tells you they can ONLY pay you if you submit SOW, is lying. Or clueless. Sometimes hard to tell the difference.
  2. ID should never be an issue - you can do it with one click on the Experian checker. The blurry, four corner, colour copy etc etc thing is a joke and sooner it stops the better. Had to send a card pic (which isn't a requirement) through 5 times once As for SOW - by it's very nature it's strange to do it up front; it should be based upon patterns of play and you can't really determine that until someone plays and deposits. Regardless, i don't give over SOW - just close the account as i don't believe casino's know what they're actually doing with it.
  3. You can be electronically verified w/o the need to send passports/driving licences etc - a la Willy Hill, SV etc. I think the above is the position that the UKGC wants to default to with other physical documents being requested when there's a query over the data matching.
  4. What a surreal comp - the winners back, or is it Keynote who has the real kayenne locked in a basement?, waterboarding them, until they revealed their password? Guess we'll never know.
  5. Thought i read somewhere they had a Costa Rican licence. Which is basically no licence as well - you'd have more comfort in gambling betting against the local tramp throwing coins against a wall. RTG as well - what's that sound? The sound of alarm bells. That's the review done.
  6. Quite right as well Hey guys, we can take thousands upon thousands off you in deposits but, should you win, we can only give 5k back a month, you know, cos, it's a lot of money to us! How's that sound? Yip, sign me up! Grrreattttt
  7. Sometimes the UKGC's not too bad...albeit the max amount to be processed at that time will limited per the withdrawal method. 'If you can't pay out the full winnings in one go, you shouldn't take the bet'
  8. Never heard head nor tail of them tbh. Might be known in Aussie but presume outside of there not many have either, so i think the word Big may be overplaying their status You can probably suggest a review but outside of Aus, with such low withdrawal limits, i don't think you'd have a rush of folk wanting to play there.
  9. My last comment as well: whilst i understand frustration, and been there myself personally, the tone is actually very important. As Valdes knows, when you work in a complaints setting, if you receive 2 complaints: Number 1: factual, to the point, nice page breaks, complainant clearly lays out what the issue is (and if you're au fait with this as a complainant you can actually, with some wordery, build into it any anticipated counter questions), polite but firm. Number 2: (and not saying this is in your case), certain words like you thievery, stolen, criminal if thrown around willy nilly, passive aggressive (or outwardly) can kill any legit case from the starting whistle. See as soon as that hits someones desk, for example, an adjudicator/ombudsman, straight from the off, you're hurting your chances. Unconscious bias is part of being a human being and i Number 1's case it will be hard, all facts being true, to go against. Number 2? - it will be easier. Have a bit of faith in the IBAS process - this isn't a tricky case it appears. Either you won with free spins or a deposit bonus. That should be easy to resolve (unless something else) One of the areas that i agree with and can see why the OP is frustrated is that those responses from Genesis are beyond poor. That doesn't help. But rather than getting mad and going on live chat etc to say the same thing time and time again, use it as part of your case. You always have to listen to complaints with one ear listening to person a's truth, one person b's and knowing that somewhere the real truth is in between.
  10. I think he's saying it wasn't FS but a deposit match he got, which isn't capped. In terms of the funds appearing in cash balance and then disappearing - that really isn't a sound basis for backing up anything tbh: as i said above, few occasions i've had this and then it disappears after one/two spins: not great, especially if it stays in the cash balance for a longish period of time but wouldn't pin a complaint success to that mast. As you said, sometimes the excess isn't removed until withdrawal anyway - note to readers; if the balance doesn't auto adjust take a chance withdrawing 500 quid even if 100 cap as sometimes it goes through (in fact, won't name them here, but i know one casino that say it's capped, but it isn't
  11. Very poor and contradictory. TBH i wouldn't go contacting them again - after all, you've lodged it with IBAS, no? Once it's with the 3rd party they are typically dealt with in that setting. You can only wait to see what IBAS says. Even the UKGC will say it's a payment issue and bat it off (they wont even deal with breaches of things like self exclusion and that's under their purview)
  12. With Afi on this one, still be be sold Bitcoin as a preferred deposit method. Certainly UK wise where it's punch in a few digits, click submit and it's done (instant, free withdrawals back as well). All this talk of wallets, rates etc. Meh. Might be different if was in a different jurisdiction - I dunno. As for places outside of casino's, the same will apply - for obvious reasons if i went to buy a house and said i'll pay in BC i'm sure it would be squeaky bum time (having said that, look at HSBC in the news about FIAT money laundering) - so until i can do that, and buy 20 Benson and Hedges at my local shop with it, it'll remain that way. In the UK we still love our cheques so a national conscious move to BC in the near, or even distant future, is unlikely. BC No Blockchain i get more but more from a security POV. See over the next few years how the new AML Directive is affecting it as some of the perceived benefits of it are curtailed by the EU bringing it into the same legislation as dealing with straight cash etc.
  13. Given that he plays his games in demo mode, the chances of winning real money on this are pretty slim. Game Art - another ugh. Hopefully they don't load their demo play at 200% RTP like last time. Perfect storm of bottom feeders.
  14. Am happy to wait for Lucho to send me my 5k? - the pigeon's due here on November 25th. Waiting on the results of their multiple personality KYC.
  15. True - in the UK, if you try and employ British born workers to fix something urgently, it's normally 2 months. Not saying they're all lazy charlatans - just most of them. Not really that much jesting - going to dig out photo's from 2 properties that were done up a few years ago. It should be quite easy to see who did what: A. Uk workers B Polish workers #LocalworkforPolishworkers.
  16. From an industry insider It's not plastered on the site - though it was in the 20/21 business plan but i presume they've been communicating that it's a done deal, hence why the slots have already changed (consultation ended at the start of the month?) Just goes to show, as with most consultations, that decisions are already made
  17. Unless your name is Johnny The first iteration being MINIMAL Deposits but now the strategy has evolved to only 2k deposits at a time. Hard to keep abreast of all these strategies. Almost as if they're not really based on anything.
  18. Good job Lucho's sending you that 5k for your post, eh? Good chance we're willing participants in Money Laundering in accepting it but, in these dark days, I can live with that.
  19. You've kicked it up to IBAS so that, for the time being, is pretty much all you can do. Might want to curb some of the 'thief' talk whilst it's on-going - just incase it reflects negatively on your case (should they read etc - though probably not)
  20. The last time i was invited into something with 2 other people, nope, won't lower the tone.
  21. Too late, I've already told Tesla to send the invoice to him. So, he may need another loan to pay that one off.
  22. Never find out if he gets it....Unfortunately you pick up the vibe that, even he does, it won't last long. Taking that money and spunking it on a casino's a pretty good warning sign of an addiction issue. Hope he doesn't do that if he does see a lot of zeros in his bank. As for the story, the multiple accounts may be an issue but, as Mr G are relatively reasonable in that respect, might not be a big hurdle. SOW should be easy - they might not like seeing 'loans' of money being used to gamble but they can't take it for that. Unfortunately, gamblers tend to leave things out when telling what's happened - if it is as he said it was, and nothing left out, i reckon he'll get paid. Seemed a pleasant enough guy, probably his head is fried waiting on an email stating if he's getting money that's enough to buy a half decent house, so probably anyone would be a bit jumpy. Though a good warning to all players that you never know when the luck is on your side and you really don't want loose ends lying about that a casino can make a noose out of for you.
  23. Meant to raise it though - i couldn't reset my PW a few weeks ago, the link never came through.
  24. Could be worse - could be Germany and 5 seconds between spins, max bet 1 euro Seem to be getting rolled out - PNG the most obvious of it but also Thunderkick - 2.5 seconds between spins - Bye.bye turbo/slam stop/quickspin- might affect Pragmatic - PNG it's quite noticeable, quite a turgid affair. - Only one slot at a time - bye, bye Videoslots' 4 windows Don't notice it on Megaways really and some of the games it's not THAT bad, but some it's terrible. Seems to be some have incorporated the seconds delay by slowing down the spinning of the reels, and some have done it by having a pause at the end of each spin. Heavy sigh. Next stop is surely stake capping and credit checks before you open an account. Dunno how many nails a coffin can hold.
