1. We've watched them all - my personal favourite was Murder House. The last season "My Roanoke Nightmare" was an odd one. Enjoy!
2. Hi Everybody, I expect that Videoslots is a very popular casino amongst AskGamblers, most players I know agree they are one of the best around. With that shameless plug for my favourite casino out of the way, I'm actually not so happy with them right now as their live chat rep refused to tell me what the reward is for todays Easter promotion... grrr! Has anybody here done this as yet today? You have to spin Book of Dead a hundred times in order to receive the reward, and I'm tempted to give it a blast but probably shouldn't as I'm fairly broke until Friday lol. If anybody can reveal what this prize might be I'd be super grateful then Thanks everybody for reading, hope one of you has the answer!
3. No, it probably wouldn't make a difference to how long the player has to wait, it would just be good practice in terms of customer service. It's happened to me several times and I always expect a response that contains at least the three following points: 1) a satisfactory explanation for the delay 2) an accurate timescale for payment and 3) an apology. It's not going to make the money show up any quicker but it might help the casino to save face in terms of their customer service delivery.
4. I wouldn't have expected her to keep logging in every day to see if anyone has responded but surely any replies should have gone to her email address? Did anyone send her a PM? I know that PhD students often have multiple lines of research going on at once, they are really quite busy people. Whatever anyway, she had her chance and missed it. Unlucky. You snooze, you lose
5. I personally think the OP has a right of complaint here. The casino advertised 'Lightening-Fast Payout' so that's exactly what every customer should get and if that doesn't happen, then a decent explanation as to why there is such a delay.
6. Interesting to read the press release above as Paddy Power have been offering a card with direct access to your casino balance for some time now ...? So it's not *quite* as fresh an idea as you might be led to believe!
7. I just asked my missus what she would do and I kinda wish I hadn't bothered now, although her answer made it irresistible to share on here! She said she'd hire a top law firm and accountant, book a big wedding and become Mrs CatapultAudio, buy a house for us to live in after we marry (Not sure what unreal figure she's fixated on for this but hey!) and the piece de resistance.. dum dum duuuuum.... Have me sign a pre-nup! Who says romance is dead eh? ..(To be fair though, I could probably let the pre-nup slide if the wedding was booked in Vegas)
8. Has many people seen Cyanide and Happiness comic strips? My girlfriend thinks they're hilarious. They aren't for everyone, some of the topics are rather un-pc but this is one I think is pretty good. Pretty tame for C&H but no less funny.
9. What you have written sounds like very typical player experiences, and so much of it is not acceptable of course - withdrawals SHOULD be paid as quickly as possible, by every casino - I respect they have security concerns that apply only to withdrawals, so accept that they cannot always be immediate like a deposit is - but some casinos do put players on a "whitelist", should they be verified already, playing with deposited funds (not a bonus), and the withdrawal is under a certain amount, allowing withdrawals to be immediate or close to it. Why can't this be adopted by all casinos? And "responsible gaming" measures, sure, those are often hit and miss too. It's not acceptable and is something the UKGC sought to clean up, in my country at least, but I still know of sites that supposedly "still implementing" some of the most important controls such as deposit limits and the like.... Stan James for example, where I used to play quite regularly, I can't find any such controls on their site and whilst support say they are able to put such limitations on your account when you contact them via live chat, I think it's thoroughly unacceptable that such a large company hasn't spent the money to have a couple of extra pages added to their website. I won't even get into whether the games are fair, as it's been discussed a billion times before now without any kind of consensus being reached... but for sure, if you feel it is time for you personally to give it a break then DO IT. I've just spent over a year having a break from regular online gaming and I feel all the better for it, and am now spinning a few slots again and enjoying the experience. If I start to feel I am getting a bad deal again then I will stop playing once more. It's the only rational and logical thing to do!
10. Argh, this 7spins place looks dodgy as ***** from what I can see and I've only spent a minute or two looking them up. I pray you get your money, but this looks to be one of those situations where you might just have to accept that you got ripped off, learn a lesson, and move on. I'm really sorry
11. Paddy Power have always been very fair with me and my girlfriend in particular loves them and does a huge percentage of her gambling with them .. They aren't the kind of place that would do something like refusing to hand back your deposit without good reason, so why have they told you they have done this? The UKGC also are a very player-friendly body, there must be some accusation of foul play involved here surely? I apologise if this sounds harsh or unfair, but PP aren't just a typical online casino, its a huge company with hundreds of retail outlets and thousands of employees, they just don't need to rip off their players - they are making untold profits already.
12. Was about to say, not keen on this, those WMS tonnes-of-reels machines always hate me... then I spotted those jackpots.. whoa, 20,000x stake? Oh of course not, it's 20,000x your LINE BET.... Playtech also pull this trick and whilst i'm sure it can be said to be technically accurate, I still hate it! Who, as players, considers their slot spins to be 30 bets at 0.01 each as opposed to one bet at 0.30 ? And please, 50x my total bet for six or more scatters?! Christ, with how rare those combinations are is that really the best they can do?!
13. How cute.! Would have been funnier if three ads hadn't popped up either side of the screen, encouraging me to subscribe to the channel and view other videos but also obstructing the view of the kid AND the dog! Way to kill off the joke, dude..!
14. Hahaha incredible! I'm stealing this!!
15. Hmm, not heard of this one but may have to give it a go... I was never really a fan of 'supernatural' type shows personally - I tried many years ago to get into True Blood and failed miserably after one episode BUT since then i've watched every season of American Horror Story and really liked it. I hope this is as good as people are saying although it has 12 seasons according to Google so there must be something to it!!
16. Oh mate, I know it's not the primary topic here but I couldn't help but respond to this. Your a bigger man than I am, I'd definitely have cried if I played back 10k... My biggest win is still only £1,200 or so after almost a decade of play, I just don't think I've got the balls to risk losing much more than that back to the casino in all honesty, so I doubt I'll ever win a life-changing sum unless it comes from some crazy once-per-session bet I occasionally do for £6-£10 per spin or similar!
17. This is an interesting topic! When Microgaming's "Playboy" slot was first released I collected literally almost two dozen screenshots of big wins over the course of a single session. My luck on the game definitely seems to have got worse since then, and the only thing explanation I can offer is that the game was brand new at that time... I know it's almost certainly a co-incidence, and of course suggestions such as, the game was having more money put through it at that time, don't make any sense with an online slot.... ... and yet, this issue does come up all the time? So is there any truth in it ? I doubt we will ever know, sadly!
18. I prefer my slots to spin relatively quickly, or at least to have the option of a "fast play" mode. Some games are just ridiculously slow, and forcing me to watch the "big win" animations or other intermediary garbage is a surefire way to have me looking for the close button in record time. What have NetEnt done with Gonzos/Twin Spin/etc ? They have removed the option to turn off animations or something like that ?
19. These three games are all quite pretty, if a little girly looking I'll be giving beauty and the beast a go as that looks to be Yggdrasil design right there, and I love that developers games. The middle one on the other hand, argh, I aren't a fan of those "gigantic" / "enormous" reels or whatever they are called ... the payouts for the base reel hits are always way too low in those games for my liking, and whilst the features do sometimes make up for it, it just strikes me as the kind of innovation that was never really necessary! Is there a monthly list of new slots posted anywhere here at AskGamblers? If not that would be a great feature, I'd love to see a summary of new releases for each month that I haven't been doing much online gaming. I feel like I have so much to catch up on and having it broken down into months would be much more palatable than simply going through the whole slots catalog.
20.
Currently listening to some old-school 90's dance. I love this genre, it reminds me of when I was a young'un. The 90's had (arguably) the best dance music ever made, especially when it came to commercial chart music, there has never been a better time for dance music in the charts than back then.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWUom6XDAG0

It might not be to everyone's taste but if we all liked the same thing, life would be boring. Enjoy!

21. Definitely looks like a bug in the game but if the right amount was paid out then that is of course the most important thing. I wonder if this happened because of the outrageous multiplier that was achieved?! I've not played the game much but wow, I would have been amazed to reach x20 never mind almost x40!
22. I've also found it hard to get a big win from Play N'Go slots, which is a shame because I think this company has some of the best new slots released over the past year or two in terms of unique features and interesting gameplay. I recommend trying "Book of Dead", which has a max win of 2,500x stake and best of all it feels so achievable as the free spins round has an expansion feature which means any five of a kind of the top symbol will automatically end up as a jackpot spin. Give it a look!
23. Sure, a computer generated random number isn't actually truely random, but it's as close an approximation as your ever going to find - in my work as a software developer I often need to create random numbers and was once asked by a client to do some checking to ensure that the numbers being generated were infact entirely random. I used established techniques for identifying patterns and with a properly seeded pRNG, was unable to find any sort of pattern, or any way of accurately predicting any part of the pRNG's output. In my work we will usually use several "microtime" values to achieve a decent amount of entropy - this "microtime" is best described as the current date and time, including milliseconds, and is expressed in such a way that it does not repeat from day to day. The resulting number will never be repeated, and you can never successfully try and manipulate what the value will be even by asking a computer to perform a task at a specific date and time - the millisecond count is the key part really, which combined with the latency inherent in any electronic system ensures that the particular "microtime" that is returned is entirely unpredictable. Use several of these at different stages of your computer program (for example, when the program first begins, when a bet is added to the table, when the "deal" button is pressed...) and use the three values as the starting point of a complex equation before sending it to the pRNG, and you can be sure that the output is going to be completely unrepeatable. I agree that the dealer SEEMS to get another 10 far more than they should, but whenever I set out to monitor something such as this the results tend to be reasonably close to what they should be considering the small sample size I have obtained. I don't know about a "pause" before a bust and guess that is some particular software you are referring to, as it wouldn't make sense for it to happen on all softwares. I've heard some suggest that such a thing happens because the computer is "working out" what card it needs to turn in order to beat you, but this is ridiculous - your dealing with a machine that can process billions of calculations per second, it doesn't need extra time to fathom the answer to a sum with an answer is below or equal to 21 These things also happen in live dealer play and on the tables in the real casino too - I played quite a bit on real tables when I went on a city break a few weeks back and had some damn near unbelievable hands play out on that felt. It felt just as unbelievable as an online blackjack game. Don't get me wrong, I also find online blackjack to be somewhat iffy at the best of times, though I have had a few unbelievable sessions playing it as well .. you know, £1,500 from £10 deposited and the like! The pseudo RNG isn't the reason for the bad feelings we get though, the shuffling every hand may possibly be involved, but overall I think it's just the house edge at work. Consider this, you can play Microgaming's virtual BJ in Autoplay mode using demo credits in the download software. I have done this for many sessions, £1 bets, 1000 hands at a time, and in general the ratio of win/lose/push is almost always within 10-20% of what it should be. Average out 10 sets of 1,000 hands and the number invariably gets a little closer to what you would mathematically expect. Because of this, if you want to play virtual BJ I recommend Microgaming - I am at least certain that they offer a fair game!
24. Do Casino Rewards have any of their own MG tournaments these days? I only remember them offering the same ones that are available at every other MG download casino, and I don't think I could be bothered to sign up to 25+ different casinos just for a shot at 10 EUR or whatever... I know there are some with bigger prizes but they always tend to be won by the players who can afford to buy their way to the top, even if it means making a loss... these players spoil it for everyone and the casinos allow it because they are making their money regardless. I really miss being able to play the free tournaments at the Vegas Partner Lounge and Digimedia group casinos, and was gutted when 32Red took away their daily 250EUR Avalon freeroll. I don't know of any freeroll tournaments worth playing now, can anybody suggest anything ?
25. If I spotted a 100€ bill/note on the floor I would pick it up and keep it, but if it was a wallet or purse with 100€ inside it, along with ID or other contact information of some description, then I would do all I could to return it to its rightful owner. Handing the note in at a police station might be the morally correct thing to do but that note is inevitably going to end up in the hands of some random charity, perhaps one that I might not support - I can't see the police handing over some money to anybody who walks in and says they lost it, can you? I have personally handed back a few wallets over the years to their rightful owners and have always been given something for my trouble, and often those wallets contained photographs or other personal artefacts which could have priceless sentimental value to their owner. I'd like to think that somebody would do the same to me but I've lost my own wallet with a large amount of cash inside it on two occasions in the past 20 years and unsurprisingly that was the last I saw of it both times. Anyways... back to the real question now, and this is a fair bit trickier. I've had a few pounds appear in my account now and then and have usually assumed it was a bonus or something like that, I mean ***** its £5/£10 or whatever, I'll play it or include it in my withdrawal and if anythings said then I didn't notice, of course Now if it was £1,000, that's another story... you can't really claim to have missed that arriving in your balance can you?! I wouldn't want the trouble that could potentially arise if I did successfully withdraw it and they started asking for it back. Call me stupid, but I think I'd have to speak with casino support, with a heavy heart!
