Bonus Buys And/Or Bonus Boosters.....should we allow it in the future?

Hear ye, hear ye! An announcement from the AG town crier!

Who here would like bonus booster bets and/or bonus buys enabled for a contest?

A one time contest given by our royal AG majesty, our enimence....Cocopop3011!

Does this idea tickle your fancy?

Should we allow such pleasantries in the future?

Allow your voices to be heard!

In reference to @cocopop3011's comment: I’ll do you a deal, if you, or someone, creates a topic to see who would be interested, I’ll then make a decision from there for later on in the year.

No on the bonus buys, that's pretty clear. Sorry I should of added bonus boosters (ie. 5 times likely to win a feature). Does your opinion remain the same for that area?

Ofc bonus bets ON ,play some hacksaw without it is like dissaster,even prag games with +25% bets give more bonuses in compare play without it..bonus buy i dont care just not count cost of bonus in X win..example buy super bonus on tombstone 5000x and get money back its not win 5000x its win 1x

Allow bonus bets but multiplier should be calculated from total bet and not base bet.

@Icy Now, if it's just on those booster bets, then I wouldn't mind taking part. $0.05 extra bet per spin is nothing like spending $10 or $20 bet per buy.

I don't see any need for this, the contests are fine as they are

I would love to be able to play with the typical extra chance bet for a 25%-50% increased stake, like on Great Rhino Megaways, Big Bass, Gemhalla, youname it,  but the trend is that X-bets are becoming so high now they are practically bonus buys and more and more providers are following Nolimit on this, like we saw with, for instance, Pragmatic's Christmas slot with the x8 more likely to hit the feature bet..

We’ve always tried new things, the contests are fine the way they are but it’s always good to experiment with other concepts. And this would be a ONE OFF contest only.

So even if you don’t want to bonus bet or extra bet you can still take part. It wouldn’t a bonus bet-only contest.

The option is there guys, I repeat, the option is there when the going gets tough! 

You can "slither" into the boosters if you'd like. 

Bonus boosters enabled, total bet and not base bet counted, slithering from far away towards @cocopop3011 as an example.

Whats the logic behind bonus bets not being counted as base x wins? I mean you are paying a premium for a higher chance of a feature so why shouldn't it be measured as a base bet.

 

As for bonus buys I don't like them being allowed for comps, on another platform someone claimed they were down almost 1000eur(according to their word) chasing a ~2500eur bigwin buying 10eur bonuses before hitting a win big enough to be on that leaderboard and I don't think we should encourage that. While some titles can be frustrating to get big wins(ie gamesglobal comes to mind) I like that we have to spin for it.

I’ve not even thought yet about how we would calculate the bets to be honest. Just seeing who would be interested in a contest like this first, then the rules would follow.

We definitely won't be encouraging bonus buys but is it the matter of that player's choice to act upon their decisions.

We are not encouraging it! I think people are jumping the gun here. Like I said, it will not be a contest that only allows bonus buys, it will be a contest that simply removes the rule that says they are not allowed.

I am honestly cool with anything...

Bonus bet/booster bet multiplier should be calculated on basebet, otherwise if calculated on total bet, how would calculations be done on a bonus buy. Because if I buy a 20 euro bonus and win 40 euro, its will be a 2x win? Of course it needs to count as 200x.

I think we can allow bonus bet/boosters only but still exclude bonus buy. 

At the end of the day its the players choice whether he wants to pay extra to land the feature faster even though it cost in certain games way more compare to $0.05 on  base $0.20 spin. 

With that said I like the way contests have been running currently with bonus bets excluded, makes it more challenging, Although more frustrations due to games taking forever to bonus.

However, with more  and more PP contest running on a small selection of games set by PP themselves , maybe we should consider the bonus bet/booster. December they chose a selection of games that has extra/bonus features available and we saw how hard it was to get big wins and how the contest ripped our pockets, although prizes were worth it!

So maybe the contests where you can play any slot - bonus bets/boosters should be excluded(since you can choose slots that doesnt have the boosters)

And maybe contest where a small selection of games is set - Bonus bets/boosters should be allowed if those games have bonus boosters/bets

I prefer the provider themselves pick the games for their contest, so that we all have a fair chance on them

For AG contests, any slot any casino is simply marvelous as we get to play games of our own choices, and at our preferred casinos too.

Mr. @Potatohead will most likely agree to the bonus boosters and perhaps on bonus buys too.

@ales200, he will like bonus boosters as well. Not sure what his take is on bonus buys, maybe it's equal to everyone's opinion regarding it.

I like how a few members were open to having slots selected by the providers or AG, it's a great idea!

Thanks for all your feedback guys. Looks like this is definitely something we can have a mini contest on sometime this year! We’ll need to gather some new one-off rules so I’ll come back to you all closer to the time.
