School starting in 8 days from now

We had a 1 months level 3 restrictions ban which has now been lifted, however some restrictions apply.

- Alcohol only sold Monday to Thursday

- Curfew - Only Allowed to be out on the street from 4 am to 11 PM at night.

- Restaurants only allow to host 50% of the space capacity to ensure social distancing

- Funeral and Weddings only 50 people allowed to attend

Cannot wait to be able to go to a restaurant again when they open! The UK is doing great with the vaccine so far. my mum gets it tomorrow. I think I'll be invited around summer time due to not being important enough to have it 🙂

Well we also have a curfew - Restuarant last had to close by 8pm and now they close at 10pm, If they catch you on the streets after 11, straight to  jail lol

Few restrictions 'lifted' here as well last week:

- malls and gyms opened with certain restrictions of course like no persons under 18 allowed without older companion, gyms working at 50% capacity max;

- schools have been opened for 1 to 4 grade since January 4th, now opened for for 7, 8 and 12 grade for two weeks, after that opened for 6 and 10 and finally for 5 and 9...

- restaurants reopening on March 1st.

After the good results and positive trends of decreasing significantly all important  COVID-19 values we are not slowly but surely returning to path to hell which we saw last November. Why the politicians are allowing it to happen again is beyond me, but most probably due to the fact they don't give a **** about the common folk, after all they have access to the best possible medical services and treatment while we, the ordinary people, are left  to wait for hours and hours for an ambulance when things go south or even to get a proper medical examination and tests. So much with the pseudo-democracy which is suffocating my beautiful and amazing Bulgaria! 😡 On the flip side, the percentage of people who are willing to get vaccinated is ridiculously low, even among the most educated parts of the society as doctors, teachers, etc... Which means that soon, probably mid March, me and my family can finally receive a vaccine and start to breath normal again.

Talking about Covid-19 vaccine...no thanks! I do not completely trust any of those partly-tested vaccine and I'm not gonna be a guinea pig to it. I'll keep my distance, away from all gatherings, and keep myself safe as best as I can for as long as the damn Covid is around.

People in my country have refused to follow any restrictions. I dont know if its allowed to have political comments here but people refusing to follow those restrictions is because of some protests against some political decisions. I hope we get through this.

Citizens have the right to decide for themselves on political matters, but risking one's own safety is a totally different matter altogether. Going against restrictions purely on political grounds may not be the best thing to do, but then again, this is also going on almost everywhere else in this world. In my country, so many have been caught, fined, jailed, or both, purely for not abiding to the current movement control order. 😏

March, this is amazing! The UK seems to think that the younger generation isn't important enough for the vaccine so we're at the bottom of the list.

The logic that they are using is that the older generation (the elderly) are the most vulnerable to Covid infection and death by it, so they are given first priority, simply because they isn't and won't be enough of available vaccine to be given to everyone all in one go.

Rightly or wrongly, I leave that for everyone to decide.

These are the intentions as announced by the Government... What's going to happen  is a totally different matter thou which usually seriously (sometimes absolutely) contradicts with the reality. TBH, I don't believe a word coming from the officials until I see some/any real actions. :(

Yeah, that's the logic behind the announced vaccination plans and phases adopted across most/all countries so far. Eldest ones and/or those from the 'front line' coming first and then all the rest, of course segregated into groups depending on the vulnerability to COVID infection and the risk of getting into a serious conditions while infected or not.

Yes that’s absolutely the reason why and I’m not bothered if I don’t have the vaccine until next year.

However, the government has decided that our teachers, our police officers, the ones that put themselves on the front line every day also aren’t important enough yet, because they don’t worn for the NHS and aren’t over 50.

In my humble opinion the groups should have been done differently. I believe there should have been a mix of other people in with the top groups (not the likes of me who is more than likely to be completely fine if I catch it) but teachers who need this vaccine with the schools reopening. But no, the first minister admitted on TV he was not prioritising teachers. Absolute joke.
Just my opinion though.

I'm with you there my dear, and I also cannot agree with the minister's decision, re the frontliners.

Apparently there'll be a major reform of the NHS (won't hold my breath, they were saying that when i worked there 20 years ago) but will see; it won't be done properly for political reasons so we'll end up with some half baked reform that achieves nothing.

Scotland's eyeing up pulling social work into a new National Care Service, sitting alongside NHS Scotland but again, i doubt it'll go far enough.

Still talk of a Japanese model of private insurance/public funded but that'll be a tough sell to the left.

When democracy came to Bulgaria 31 years ago and all these gigantic changes began, the politicians back then decided to adopt the UK health care system as a model.  Now, was that decision made because of their absolute incompetence or simply cause of their frantic attempts to copy everything associated with the so called 'West' and use use it our country without taking into account the specifics of the population, the legacy, the mentality and so on will remain for the history to decide. What we witnessed in the last 2 decades is a brutal reality which resulted into the harsh truth showed here https://prnt.sc/yxzmne

Would the coronavirus have a positive or negative effect on online gambling?

Are you really interested to know, or just want to know in general CG99? 🤔

If you've been following the news or current affairs, you would certainly see that more and more online casinos are popping out of the blue, like mushrooms. Even land based casino owners and operators are now deeply engaging into online casinos. Yes, all because of the pandemic, all because gamblers have to spend more time at home now, and also because going to land based casinos and sports bettors have become very restricted or controlled nowadays.

Is it affecting you in any way?

Players or casino's?

Not much effect on the casino's tbf, here's Leo's latest press release.

Likely the same with others; sports betting offset by increase in virtuals etc as well.

Those however with actual betting shops may have different results, not looked tbh but those places are getting phased out anyhow, or certainly downsized in their portfolios.

LeoVegas concluded the record year 2020 with its strongest fourth quarter ever. And we did this despite frequent changes to the gaming requirements in our markets in addition to finding ourselves in the midst of a global pandemic.

Not a rocket science to claim that this is pretty much the situation will any other major gambling market.

Some of the stats here don't surprise me at all, I guess a lot of people have been looking for ways to kill the boredom being stuck at home for the best part of a year now.

  • 3 months later...

The state that I live in was under lockdown and were expecting the restrictions to be lifted on may 31 but the rise in covid cases in the past 3 days have made sure that lockdown will be extended for a month.

Meanwhile I would like to suggest a youtube channel for some daily updates. His name is Dr John Campbell and his videos are a great help. His latest video is an eye opener about vaccine misinformation.

UK based freelance model Stephanie Dubois who lived also in Cyprus, has died following a reaction to the AstraZeneca vaccine.

She developed a brain hemorrhage, which has been documented to occur after all COVID vaccines, including the AstraZeneca jab she received.

The young model who was said to be 27, got the first dose of the vaccine on May 6.

After she wrote on social media that she felt horrendous and needed rest. Her symptoms worsened over the following days.

stephanie1-768x768-1.thumb.jpg.53c554d8ba97068b8991b2d6db33854c.jpg

On May 14, Stephanie shared that she was suffering from headaches, shakes, and dizziness. She was worried she was coming down with COVID.

She wrote that she was having more testing done to diagnose her condition.

A little later she updated that she “had my bloods done and there is definitely something off as my white blood cell count is high, but they don’t know what it is causing it.”

Stephanie wrote, “Maybe I’m having a prolonged reaction to my Covid jab last week, or maybe those side effects affected my immune system and I’ve caught something else in the process.”

Sadly, she declined, and was soon admitted to the ICU, and eventually declared brain dead.
