Covid-19: We are all in this together! Check in here every day

Wouldn’t be overly sure about that; some of the online only operators operate at not massive margins; some of their costs will be fixed that they’ll pay regardless. Sure, they might see an upswing with more folk at home at the start but when belts are tightened only the addicted will splurge their last tenner that they need for food in a casino; so, they might take a hit regarding low or medium rollers but given the bulk of their cash is from high rollers they’ll probably be fine; more cash comes from sports books and that’s gone out the window mind you.

What it may do is force some casinos that had one eye on the exit door to depart a little bit early

UKGC already said they won’t be offering any rebates for licence fees and I think the current years is paid based on the previous years so they’ll be essentially paying for returns this year that they’ve no hope of hitting

God help us if/when a more devastating virus is created/released: Despite knowing about this since Jan, we're still sending paramedics into old folks' homes, potentially with the virus, due to a lack of equipment/PPE, still not rolled out the frontline testing (Germany can test 80k, UK just scraping 10k) properly.

Laughing at some of the banks as well - despite being bailed out by the public due to their own greed, they're now creating road blocks for the government back schemes - but it's OK, the Business Secretary has had a stern word with them - gimme a break.

Experts, well so-called, are 50/50 about whether a recession will come around as well.

Every press conference just leads to the same questions now. Every day! Testing. They're basically the same questions just worded differently. Boris did not look well today in his video, I really can't see him being out of isolation on Friday.

I think there's general consensus worldwide already that the world is already IN its first quarter recession OR diving into one with 100% certainty in the second one (April-June)...

It doesn't even matter anymore how the experts are calling the economic situation right now, no one has ever considered what would happen when close to 4 billion people are under lockdown, every day, for weeks, maybe even months...  Don't even want to think about all that 'collateral' damage around the Covid pandemic caused by the lockdowns, tens of trillions, maybe more. Don't give a heck if these losses are shared among greedy banks and corporations but the sad truth is that it will be US, the common folk, who would suffer most of these losses eventually (as usual).

And right in the epicenter of all these dark clouds gathering across the head of every single common folk these days we have what... mostly inadequate, scared to death, incompetent authorities which are either spreading panic and chaos among people or broadcasting controversial messages at best.

What happened with the billions spent by NATO for various 'virus threat' military training?! 😡

Oh, better stop here...

Oh noooo

Nothing else to do then to read some youtube comments on videos like this ones

(In Soviet Russia we fears that Coronavirus has been exposed to Putin)

(Poor virus, I hope he’ll make it.)

(It's not that the good die young, it's that the bad get a long time to figure out "right."
Other wise, Trump, Putin, Xi and their ilk would all be sick in bed.)

Guys, I'm interest to know - In other countries do they also share worldwise news in regards to the virus? We mainly here about the US/China/Italy/France/Germany/Soiouth Korea. But limited countries tbh. This is actually one of the reasons why I opened the topic so we could all keeo each other updated.

I try to only know the news on now for the governments daily speech and then I'll knock on Sky News once kids go to bed. But I find that I'm better if I don't watch it tbh.

I believe we all watch pretty much the same set of covid-country-based-news... Situation at home and then USA/UK/Italy/Spain/China and that's it, as if the rest of the world is no longer existing.

PS. Forgot about Ursula... She's in the news every single day!

Evening guys - I've been a litle quiet this weekend. Sorry about that. Believe it or not but my house is so hectic with the kids off school every da but trying to keep them occupied every day without leaving the house is a challenge in itself. But, we're all safe that's all that matters.

The UK however is crumbling. PM has been admitted to hospital (apparantely precaution, I'm not convinced) and the Scottish  Chied Medical Officer has resgined for flouncing  her own social distancing rules! What a time to be alive.

I trust you are all well?

I haven't been playing much guys, I'm not exaggering when I say I have zero time on my hands. But the other half has a few screenshots, shall I share them in the appropriate topics?

Well, helllooooo...

1 400 people fined in Bulgaria since the beginning of the lockdown for a total of €3,5 million, one former minister and two members of the parliament included.  Rules are there to be followed, we will comment and discuss their democratic aspect once and when we are  done with the Covid threat.

Woman arrested for sitting in the park on a sunny day minding her own business by FOUR police (in the UK). Welcome to 1984.

It's against the rules! If you're not moving you're not exercising then you shouldn't be outisde. I'm sure the rules are clear enough. Although I'm pretty sure it's fake news. I haven't heard that! They issue fines, not power of arrest.

Exactly!  Anyone not listening to the rules should get fines! I absolutely stand by it.
