      It's been over 4 years since I started being active here in Askgamblers.com. A number of old members have come and gone, and a few can only peek in once in a while. Well, it looks like my time is approaching too! Not that I want to leave this site for good, but circumstances may hinder me from being as active as I have been all this while. Why? Well, you know what they say...when it's time to go...it's time to go...ooops...I don't mean 'permanently gone' of course, hahaha. Nosirree! As much as I don't want that to happen, but some things in life are simply inevitable...all things must end...a beginning must have an ending...and que sera sera...what will be, will be! I really do not know how much longer I can stay active in this forum...because I may need to go back to the big-busy-buzzling city center to start all over again. My previous business partner is calling me back to help him out in his new project, and being an old dear friend of mine, I simply cannot refuse his good offer. Nonetheless, many things still need to be sorted out first, but I'm expected to start as soon as within 2 or 3 months from now! Well...we'll see how things will work out by then. I was thinking "to post, or not to post" this message...but I may not have the time to do this later on...so let's just do it anyway, hehehe. If this 2018 is going to be my best year in this new century, then I would welcome it with an open heart, because I've already been through the worst since 2 decades ago, and perhaps it's now time for me to see some 'new light'...only God knows! Hehehe. Well folks, I hate to go...but I'm counting the days...

      CasinoRoom was once a decent outfit...I played with them a lot back then and even reached the top most planet level in quick time! Then they started limiting their bonuses to certain games...and increasing their wagering requirements year by year. If it is now at 100x wagering for their bonuses...then I think CasinoRoom may be standing on the edge of a bridge... and asking "to jump...or not to jump?" Whatever it is...more and more casinos may need to close shop sooner or later...

      Previously CasinoRoom's wagering was 75x...now it's 100x? I've already avoided playing at CasinoRoom since last year, so I'm not up to date with its wagering requirements. I'd simply delete all promotional emails from them! Hahaha. At 40x bonus wagering, yes, I may be able to complete the wagering playing on Finn game alone (have already done it a few times so far), but at 100x...I'd need to get to the moon and back to Earth first!

      Yep, agree mate. Perhaps typical of 'cheap' casinos, I would say...taking advantage of any 'ambiguous' term in the regulations, for their benefits, and trying to get in as much revenue as possible, totally disregarding players concerns. A player's right to try out any game in the fun mode should never be removed!

      Maybe...maybe not... I was referring to the fact that casinos are now slowly removing the 'Play For Fun' option...so no more fun play in the future...so more wasting of real cash in trying out new games...and so on. Some casinos have already begun this removal, and downloaded Microgaming casinos no longer provide the fun mode option!

      Hi Ben and welcome to Askgamblers. The reason is very simple! When you read any review from a player, look at the number of reviews done by that player - you'd see that most of those good-to-excellent ratings are from players who have hardly made many reviews at all! That can mean a few things - the player's review is very biased (in favour of the casino), or the rating given is simply a wild one, without giving any relevance to any rating criteria, or simply because some players just love giving lots of 'stars' (they don't understand that a 10-star rating would mean 'perfect', when there's no such thing as a 'perfect' casino!). On the other hand, some players may have gotten so mad at a casino, for one reason or another, and therefore condemns it with a 1-star rating. This may not reflect the true worth of that casino, simply because even the best casinos would make mistakes! Hence, no casino can ever be perfect to achieve a 10-star rating, nor to be so worthless as to achieve a 1-star rating! A 1-star rating is simply a way for a player to express his/her anger at that casino!

      Yeah...and for the worse too! Without fun play, there would be absolutely no way to test out new games...good for casinos...very deadly for players!

      With CasinoPlex now gone, I'm left with only 5 Playtech casinos that I can play at, all downloaded versions. For Microgaming, I only have one - Nostalgia. That came by chance - after taking up their recent $1 for $20 offer, they then offered me a download version, which isn't available from their online website. The only setback is, no more fun mode - only real play is now allowed! This is another forthcoming disaster that is also currently being enforced onto online casinos. Soon, no more fun play anywhere! Damn!

They used to be playtech games only casinos...but nowadays, they have games from Japanese, Korean and whatnot other game providers that I haven't even heard of before! Hahaha.       For now, I do not intend to use any other e-wallet provider other than Neteller...with Skrill as second choice.       Those Marvel Super Heroes games have no match at all...not even by the replacing Age Of The Gods series! Even though they are designed on the original basic game concepts, they don't play as interestingly as the Super Heroes games. Maybe we are all very much linked to those Super Heroes that no other replacements would ever do. Heck, if someone else acts as Ironman, not Robert Downey Jr, I don't think I would like it or accept it either! Hahaha.
