I understand your explanation I think and we all want those big wins. I can relate. Take NetEnt's Twin Spin - I hate this slot I never win on it. Yet it's one of our most popular big win screenshots here at the forum. I always say I will never ever play this game again, but low and behold I find myself chasing those big wins! It's only natural. But I really want to start seeing you winning Nicole, so stick to the games you like, the ones you can win, give NetEnt a break for a while and then go back to them in a few months! You never know your luck might just change!

The max bet rule very rarely applies to me since I'm a low roller. It's only by chance I have a huge win or a huge balance that I can increase my bet. The max bet rule is easy to understand. It basically means that when you are playing with bonus funds your bets cannot exceed a certain amount. It's a rule like I mentioned most casinos have in place. This particular casino explained it as an example of an irregular game play. The fact the they mentioned you cannot place bets equal to or lower than £5 or 5% whichever is less when playing with a bonus credited to your account, makes it easy to understand for me. Why the casino operator could not explain this to you I have absolutely no idea! The term then goes on to explain you cannot exceed these bets until your wagering requirements have been met. A player would know this by either checking with support or some casinos offer you the facility to check your own wagering. Once this is complete, you can then raise your stake. In your particular case you mentioned you had another £680 to wager. After you completed this wagering you would have been able to make the £7 bets you mentioned without breaching the terms. But since you still had wager left to complete when you made those bets this put you in breach of the terms. It's easy for me to say I understand the max bet rule, if you are a player (and I don't know if you are) that was never aware of this rule then I guess it can be confusing. I don't know what your experience in online casinos are but if you've been playing for a while, you should already be aware of this rule?

It's the route I usually take too Zeus, start at minimum once I start winning I'll increase my bet! Very, very rarely will I go straight in with raised based. Unless I'm playing a 9 line slot!

Absolutely agree Coolivert. Gambling is definitely a learning curve, the more you play the more you learn. And there will always, always be set rules in place that us players must follow. We may not like these rules, but let's face it who does likes rules?! If we want to continue gambling then we must follow these rules, it really is that simple IMO.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by 'stop this kind of operation'?? What operation are you referring to? Most online casino will have a max bet rule in place when playing with a bonus. This information can always be found in the casinos terms and conditions which we all agree that we have read before completing registration or playing with a bonus. Admittedly not all terms and conditions are that easy to read and it may take some time to find this particular information but nevertheless it will always be there. I was able to find the max bet rule in the bonus terms in under 5 minutes after I read your post for this particular casino. So I am a little confused as to what operation you are referring to here?

Hello angel.amsterdam Have you spoken to support regarding this issue? As you said after a game error you would expect to see the winnings in your balance once you reload the game. If you haven't spoken to support have a chat with them, explain what happened I'm sure they'll be able to assist you further.

Casino Blogs - Are they worth reading?
cocopop3011 replied to Conor@Trada's topic in Casinos General
I agree there's nothing like personal experience, but if you were to read a casinos reviews and they were all bad would you still deposit and play there anyway? -
Garry, I know you are annoyed with your personal experience at another casino but the max bet rule applies at pretty much every online casino you play in with a bonus.
-
Excellent question Zeus! I have to admit I am guilty of saying I have read the new terms without actually reading them. However I always get the facts before I play with any bonus. I've made too many mistakes in the past not to learn from them!

Nicloe - I'm sorry to hear you lost your balance, I really am but if you enjoy Thunderkick games and other softwares where you feel you can place high bets and win then just stick to these games honey. Forget about NetEnt games if you can't win on them. The reason why most members here don't agree with you when you bring up NetEnt is because there are a lot of members here than are big fans of NetEnt. But not everyone is going to like them. Reel Rush in particular is notorious for draining a huge balance in no time at all, even on £1 bets! It's one of my favourite NetEnt slots actually but I know how bad this slot can be too, you've got to be brave to play it and willing to lose. What I'd like to see now Nicole is you playing games that are good for you then you can come back and open a thread on how successful your game-play was and you had a withdrawal

I am indeed from the UK but I'm in Wales and I know very little about London I'm afraid. I also agree that the term 'betting parlour' is very posh and one I've not heard of either. If you are referring to land-based casinos abilene, I'm afraid I couldn't name any in London for you, my best advice would be to google it Are you thinking of visiting London?

Bet365 refuse payment of Sports Bet i Won
cocopop3011 replied to camgirl's topic in Sports Betting - General Discussions
It sounds crazy I have to admit, I can't see why they can't give you any information! Do they know you have opened a case with the commission? You also need to be careful discussing this in the forum now camgirl, since you have opened a case with the commission I don't think they like you discussing the matter in any forum whilst the case is pending. You can check this on their website though. -
I haven't given this one a go! I'm glad you like it, I assume it pays you well?
-
The only thing is when do you draw the line between a 'simple mistake' and someone blatantly breaking the terms. I agree if a player's gaming pattern shows one bet out of the ordinary, higher than the max bet allowed, then this could be considered a mistake certainly the casino should be considering honouring this, But I think the max bet rule will always be one that comes up in the forum and complaints.

Oh I see! Sounds like a complete nightmare then. If it is something serious and turns out you can no longer withdraw to your bank then maybe the best option for you is to get their MasterCard. Yes it's lengthy, Yes you have to pay a one-off small charge for the card but at least it's always an option there that guarantees you get your winnings in the long run. I sincerely hope that it doesn't come to that though and that this issue is sorted soon for you.

I see, well I'm sorry you feel this way and I wish you every success with your case to the commission. I'd just like to add that I'd never visited the site before today after I read your thread. I found this bonus term within about 3-4 minutes from the Bonus Policy link on the home page. Unfortunately casinos don't put limits on your stake, in an ideal world this would be great and the players that are caught out by the max bet rule wouldn't be. But it is every players responsibility to check all of the t&c's before playing. None of us like reading these things, its tedious but it's also important. But like I said I wish you luck with your complaint to the commission.
