alano83 Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Hello, I am a VIP customer at the betting site in question; I place high-stakes bets on low odds. I have always verified all the cards used for deposits. Three days ago, I lost €4,000 on odds of 1.09 with no issues. I then deposited €7,000 and won €7,300. When I requested a withdrawal, my account was blocked, and I was asked for a bank statement (which I provided the same day) and an explanation for my betting style—as if I can't even choose how to play with my own money. lucks_maximus Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago They want an explanation for your betting style of betting big on massive favorites? LOL Why would they block you if you're a VIP. This sounds stupid. Maybe they are stupid. Quote
Blackjax Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago They are just asking you to explain your betting style which does look predatory. I agree its high risk but betting €4000 and €7000 on odds of 1.09 odds won't be allowed on most casinos. How do you plan to explain your side? IMO just tell them the truth and walk away with your money which I believe they will have to release. They will ban you from the casino I believe. Have you ever been banned by any casino before for this betting pattern? Quote
marius1978 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Why would it not be allowed, though. Maybe under some responsible gaming paragraph, but the bookie has everything to gain from players betting on no-value odds like these. Just one failed 1.09-bet, and it will take the player forever to recuperate, while the bookie risk only a minor payout each time, but a massive take once the bet fails. lucks_maximus 1 Quote
alano83 Posted 5 hours ago Author Posted 5 hours ago I’ve asked several times if it was possible to play at low odds, but no one ever replied. I’ve previously lost huge sums—up to €9,000—and they were fine with that. Now they suddenly decide to make a fuss over €300 in winnings. If they don’t want me playing anymore, that’s fine, but they have to pay out the winnings I’ve earned. Quote

I play on others, and no one has ever complained. Quote

alano83 Posted 4 hours ago Author Posted 4 hours ago Nothing for three days; they just say to wait. I even tried filing a complaint via Ask, but it was rejected because I have to wait on 20bet's own timetable. Quote
loceff13 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago There could be a variety of reaosns why they have concerns(ie loss chasing because of your immediate trying to take out your second deposit plus profit). Quote
