cocopop3011 Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 This is always something that's so important to talk about and highlight in the forum. So, how many of you actually set these player protection tools when you open an account these days? Quote
Blackjax Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 I chose number 8, others. And that for me would be playing on a budget. I have a fixed amount to spend on Gambling every month and because I have great self control too I think it helps me control myself even when I am losing. Quelaag, ales200 and cocopop3011 2 1 Quote

I never set RG tools when I used to play a lot but looking back I think I should have, but my main one would have been time limit, if I was to play again like I used to I would set a time for sure! Afi4wins Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 My vote goes to one choice and one choice only - NONE. I don't need deposit or loss or wager limits (I know my own limits and budget). I find session, time and reality checks annoying when I'm playing. I don't need to use time out or self exclusion - I'm a regular player but I simply don't play when out of money. Quelaag 1 Quote
loceff13 Posted December 4, 2025 Posted December 4, 2025 The only one I found was useful to me was a site(forget which) allowed you to set a max bet limit per spin etc so you couldn't accidentally click and do a $20 spin when you loaded a slot the first time. The only downside is it also meant you couldn't bonus buy above that value either. Quote

Afi4wins Posted December 4, 2025 Posted December 4, 2025 @Flatzem888 Deposit with what bro? If casinos can accept sand then I'd deposit one after another! Quelaag 1 Quote
Icy Posted January 15 Posted January 15 The online casinos that I've been into, while I may forgive them after a horrible session or two I may use time outs for at least one month to 3 months just to be sensible. Casinos like Wolfy since they advertise wager free bonuses, if no winnings have been generated and cashed out after say two deposits then I'd freeze it for a year! If I don't win anything after that certain frozen period yet alone a bonus feature on my 3rd try it's account closure from there! Quote

I'm still on profit, that the money I can afford to lose, if i'll print more thats awesome, if I lose to the 25k its also great. cocopop3011 and lucks_maximus 2 Quote
lucks_maximus Posted Saturday at 10:17 AM Posted Saturday at 10:17 AM No, never. Maybe paranoia, but with my weird playing times, I think using such tools would just give the casino an excuse to cut me off ("we're closing your account for your own good"). Also, thank God or Momma, I don't seem to have gambling issues. Quote

Although my playtime will probably decrease significantly over time; me being fairly new to slots I'm in a sort of honeymoon period. Quote

Search engine snooping, but I rarely remember what the exact prompts are for the things I search, though, that's true of anything I look up not just this gambling/slots stuff. Now you have me wanting to piece together the chronological order of my journey Gonna look through my email for dates to put together a rough outline later, just out of curiousity lol. ales200 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I have used the Self-exclusion Limit several times, for 1 year, half a year, and 3 months. Very useful for me! Quote
