Toiletseat
Dear AG Members, Since about 2 months I've started playing the sportsbooks, so yould could say I am a rookie. I was wondering if any of you also is placing bets on sportsevents, and I was hoping if you could give me some advice of how to play. For example: Do you need to study the past results, do you preferable pick out the lower odds instead of the high odds, are value bets really so important etc etc? Please, don't hesitate and feel free to comment on my questions. Thanks, & best regards, Seat AalinkaLib and MacdoniS

bigdk88
What I do when placing bets on football is check previous h2h analysis when do they score in a match who scores the most against that team which team struggles to keep a clean sheet etc it really is beneficial to do your homework! With horse racing I check the experts pick if there is no clear favourite I go by the jockey you want to pick the horse with the best jockey or trainer especially irish! As I say study the form take some time to look at previous results you won't always be accurate but it should improve your chances! Avoid football bets like predict scores and avoid doing more than a 4 fold(4 selections accumulator bet) With horse racing try and always bet each way this means you win if your horse places so if the horse places and wins you win quite a-lot back! Hope this helps! Toiletseat and ValDes

I haven't put a bet on for a whiley but when I do I always do research one other aspect I forgot to mention regarding bets on horse racing is check how the horse has performed on different types of race track like soft to hard in places, soft, hard, etc this gives a good indication of how the horse will go it is very valuable information! Glad my feedback is appreciated happy to help! beat the bookie! Toiletseat

I really could use some inside information Thank you, Seat The eternal rivals here are Red Star and Partizan. Such a passion is rare to be seen for football and such incidents and savagery is also rare to be seen and red about, when it comes to this derby. Red Star was a Europe champion in 1991, defeating France's Marseille, in finals. They also won the Serbian title of championship this year, after I think 6 years, again I'm their fan too, but not even a close as someone can be and it doesn't change my mood if they lose. I'm just glad if they win There are two Greek clubs, like pairs in brotherhood with Red Star and Partizan. Red Star's brother is Olympiakos and Partizan's is Paok (someone would say it's Panathinaicos too) Toiletseat and bigdk88

bigdk88
The irony is it was invented in Scotland yet up until recently we have been the worst at it ! Now though Scotland are much better almost holding england to a draw at wembley(ahead at one point!) Narrowly beaten by Wales and Belgium 2 years ago and beating Croatia twice and Poland as well! We could well even qualify for the next world cup! No problem Luciana! Yes shame Serbia never made it! Luciana and Toiletseat

ValDes
Ah so you are Bulgarian Val ? You guys sometimes have a good national squad I'm sure you have bet us(scotland) a few times! Hehe, yeap, we used to have excellent national squads, but not anymore I guess. Berbatov and most of other big names in the team are too old already, Sten is fighting against his leukemia, the young guys are just ... too young yet. Sincerely hope. we'll manage to build a solid team again in next 3-5 years. As for Scotland vs Bulgaria, I'm afraid we have never won your team. Complete statistics here. bigdk88

Petrovs a legend! love him as I'm a celtic fan ! Berbatov was a man united legend and also was a rumour celtic would get him! I'm really surprised you guys have never beaten us! you did have a very good squad before! whereas Scotland have only just started to become quite a good team again! As I mentioned above the teams we have beaten in the past year and we even led england at wembley last year briefly! we are now ranked 27th in the world not far behind some giants! We will be at next world cup ! ValDes and helenakp
