Introducing Our Brand New 2025 Forum Contests!

I have been teasing you all with some exciting news, and now I can finally announce what I have planned for you all.

But first, I want to extend a massive thank you to everyone who has made 2024 special! We have had a fantastic year in the forum. Yes, we've had our fair share of ups and downs, but overall, we have seen growth in our little community, from struggling to get even 3 people to enter our contests to now filling our leaderboards and more. 

So now onto the exciting news! 

From January 2025 we will have a 1,000 EUR prize fund for our AG contests EVERY MONTH! For December 2025 we have secured a 2,000 EUR prize fund. 

HOWEVER, contests will look alittle different! 

Our prize fund will now be split from January 2025. 

We will have a contest that is available for PREMIUM MEMBERS ONLY. This contest will have the highest of the two prize pools we will be running nesxt year and only members who have earned their Premium badges are allowed to enter. HOWEVER, permission will be granted to members who have continued to enter our contests this year. I will be granting special access to some of you who have not yet earned your premium badge but have shown your support to AG throughout 2024.  You'll also have the chance to earn your way to the Premium status throughout the year. 

We will then have a second contest during the same month that will be for ALL members regardless of your badge or amount of forum posts. Premium members are allowed to take part in both contests. 

The 1,000 EUR will be split between the two contests, but our premium contests will have the larger of the two prize pools. So, for every new member that now joins us, and I hope our community continues to grow, you now have the incentive to either become a premium member or to be invited by me to enter our premium contests. 

Much of the same rules will be applied to how the contests are run. 

We will not have a minimum bet or currency lock but all games from January must now have at least 9 paylines, with all paylines active at all times. 

I am reviewing our providers' contests and will let you know if anything changes. 

Unfortunately, I am not able to make payments any faster, but we are constantly reviewing the situation, and this could change at any time. 

The following  contests will come to an end in 2024 and will not continue into next year:

What are the requirements to become a 'Premium Member', please? 

It would be nice if this requirement would go for provider sponsored contests as well but I can of course see it'd be more in their interest to have as many as possible entering them.

You became a premium member by posting the forum and that’s it. Every time you post or receive reactions you earn points and you level up through the forum ranks. 

Some members were given hunoury premium member labels when we added the badges as I selected them, but this was a while ago. Now our rank systems are in place. You can see the badge by your profile picture to see where you are in the ranks. But yeah basically, the more you use the forum, the higher your ranks. 
 

And in the future, these ranks could even mean more

Great to see, will the premium comps be offset by a week etc so theres always something to enter or run alongside the normal monthly comp?

Also, might be way too complicated/time consuming with manual checking but you could possibly bring casino referrals into it, like using the AG referral links and posting in a thread that you did and getting points in return to rank quicker. 

 

Certainly worth encouraging it on the AG side

These will be our new “normal” monthly comps now, we will have two per month instead of one, but new members can only enter one until they reach or are invited to premium.

AG typically gets paid for directing signups via it's website to casinos it partners with when those players deposit, you could encourage users to use those AG casino links in return for forum rewards to rank up quicker. Getting newer users using AG links right from the start means more revenue per user on AGs end long term.

Aha I’m with you! I have considered something like this quite a few times, and I’m definitely not ruling it out. Will add it to my suggestion list for 2025 to try and work on it more and come up with an idea that would work. Thanks for the suggestion.
