Nolimit City's Mental Slot

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I know this has been discussed already but I wanted it to have its own topic. What are your views guys?

I absolutely love the theme, I love sinister things 🙂 Really looking forward to trying it, it'll also be my first ever Nolimit game, hope SlotsMillion have it when I'm ready to deposit later in the month.

Going to share this story in here too, is it you Afi and you've been too  busy spending your winnings to tell us 🙂

Oh, how I wish it was me! 🤣

Anyway, Nolimit City is a no-no for me...66,666x win potential or not! One person has won it, now 66 thousand players (or more) will lose next! 😜

Me? I'm only keeping myself busy with my Red Alert game...plus a bit of Playtech slotting. All others are simply out!

Again, 66,666x or 66.6x? I think a 200 dollar bet is quite a risk for most of us. In this case the high risk had a decent reward. To call this ' a mere 0.20' bet though, is quite a reach.

To be clear, I'm not trying to diminish NLC's game, but rather the marketing and hype around it. I just don't see the point in talking about and comparing slot wins in terms of xBet and then totally disregard what the actual bet is.  I think doing so just facilitates the misperception that monster wins on slots are more probable than they really are.  We can likely agree that 66x wins happen several hundred thousand times a day, but most are not betting 200 dollars when it happens.

It’s 66,666x your win if you trigger the !!!THIS IS MENTAL!!! feature

I forgot they bought into the feature though so yeah paid $200.

More streamer bait

Aye, if natural trigger then 66kx, bonus buy = 66x

Question - odds of natural trigger? Don't think there's enough 0's available.

Another question is if natural triggers play the same as the bonus buy - pretty sure they don't

66kx isn't that out of the box to be fair - Lil Devil's had a few and DOA2 has been shown to hit 100kx etc

The game ok - obvs from the UK, am never gonna see mental spins: best is about 250-300x here, bulk are in around 50x. Just think if from the UK, no able to BB, you'd be better off sticking with DOA2 etc for those X wins

You'll not see many naturals on some of their slots - seen it on East V West Coast, had the 5 a few times in deadwood but pretty sure San Quentin and this slot, it's a Hail Mary you'll need. NLC said it's 'extremely rare' to see it in SQ - so rare, i think people have seen Lord Lucan more often in the last year.

The cost to buy a feature is usually a strong indicator of what it's average payout it. So if it costs a 1000x, on average it will pay somewhere around there. If you consider how often you hit 1000x generally playing slots, that's how long it will take just to trigger this feature. If I had to guess, I'd say it hits in the region of 1 in 10,000 to 15,000.

True. But I think there is a big difference between Mental and DOA2. In DOA2 there is a lot of RTP in the base game, and the hit frequency to the free spins is definitely less than 1 in 200. So DOA2 generally takes your balance more slowly and gives you the free spins quite regularly compared to a lot of recent games. This gives players more rounds for their money and more rounds means less time for the huge win to happen.

I think NLC games are much more focused on the free spin features and want to make them as spectacular as possible, which is why buying the bonus in an NLC game tends to cost more than others. The consequence of doing it this way is that the base game has low RTP and tends to be weak, grinding and generally hopeless.  They want players to buy features and they are rather good at giving reasons to do so.

I doubt naturally base spin triggers are possible to reach super bonus features although it seems its possible but highly unlikely - You need to bonus buy

What I have noticed with NLC is that many times if you have lowered super bonus version in play, its possible to upgrade. I mean I bough the bonus in Deadwood many times for x70, then during free spins I land scatters on reels 1 and 5 to upgrade to shoot out.

I have upgraded to the super bonus feature in :

East Coast/West Coast
Deadwood - Few times
San Quentin - I had 4 scatter natural trigger and landed a 5th scatter - I landed the 5th scatter on 2nd last spin and got extra 2 spins added, but the multipliers was not big, so win resulted in x1200 in total.
Fire in a hole
Bushido xWays

I can safely say, you still win big, as in a couple of 100 x's however not as huge as in 1000 - 5000x to be honest. The game play is not the same, unless it happens at the end of the feature where there is not enough time to build up the Super Bonus feature as it plays out. At times the normal features paid better than super feature. Like for me Deadwood is by far the best slot to bonus buy, even though 90% of the time it pays *****, but when you hit it on the right day, you will be smiling to the bank.

I think NLC marketing strategy is the bonus buy feature... and they are succeeding IMHO...

Aside from Deadwood, i'd still maybe have some of their earlier releases - they've obviously got into bed with certain slot players/casinos and are churning what they are at the moment for that reason. I think the likes of Tombstone, where i've had 3 and 5kx via the 5, are fairer to be honest.

When u do trigger the 5 naturally, i think anything less than a 1000x is poor; had a 500x on Deadwood with the 5 and was raging with it, even though on a quid but still.

To be fair to NLC, even though i'm not their biggest fan, at least you know what you're getting/playing: compare that to Thunderstruck 3 or whatever where you could easily go 1000x stake down and have very little chance of even clawing it back as it's awful.

Are there any other slot by No Limit apart from san Quentin  and mental where you can't trigger bonus from base game?

Are you talking about the bonus bonus or Super bonus that cost x1000 - x2000 bonus?

San Quentin - I bonus(3 scatters) that slot within 100 spins all the time, 80 pays between 10 - 40x and sometimes 100 - 200x, here and there 400x, biggest from 3 scatter bonus was 980x. I had once or twice the 4 scatter natural trigger.

So San Quentin 3 scatter bonus can come very easily, Mental, no bonus come in at all, once over x600 spins and no bonus, I always buy in this one.

I meant base game bonus I have played san quentin and mental both and it did not give me a bonus in over 1000 spin on both. The worst part was that the base game dead as well.

So are there any new games from NLC that are like this as well?

The problem with any answers to your query, bro, is that one person can name several games that can be dead in the base game, but someone else would say otherwise, citing regularly getting bonuses in the base game instead. The truth is that games can be brutal to one player, yet can be quite good to another!

Anyway, it's good to know which games are usually dead games, so you can avoid them. 😉

I think I have already said many times on where I stand on such games, hehehe. 😜

afaik all NLC are catering to streamers and bonus buys as an example their new goblin game has 6 different bonus buys. up to triple 6 x Bet
