I gave my ID and my bank statement for verification which was approved and now they want a video of my residence and where I took my selfie? I wasn't at home when I took my selfie for my verification. Afi4wins 1 Quote
Afi4wins Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago @dadman68 Hi there and welcome to the forum. Requesting a video of your residence is completely senseless and ridiculous! Be very careful of such KYC requests because that is not the norm! By the way, may we know which casino it is, so others can be aware of it? Quote
marius1978 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago It's not the norm but a lot of casinos request it if they suspect one thing or another, reputable and otherwise decent casinos as well. Quote
Ultras34 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Run from this garbage casino had same experience with verification like this and et the end scamed me for like 5000€ what i win there..ofc its not normal process of passing KYC.. Afi4wins 1 Quote
Maddison Dwyer Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago That would make me pause as well. A video of the residence is a very different request from normal address verification. Before sending anything, I’d want them to explain exactly what they’re trying to verify and why the bank statement wasn’t enough. If the answer is vague, that’s useful information in itself. Also worth keeping the thread tidy: dates, what they asked for, what you already sent, and whether the request came through the casino account or email. That usually makes it easier for people here to spot whether it’s normal friction or something stranger. Afi4wins 1 Quote
Maiwen Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I’ve been playing at online casinos for several years, and no casino has ever asked me for a video of my home. It’s strange. proof of address, such as a bank statement or a residence certificate is sufficient to verify it. Quote
Blackjax Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I had something similar requested by lucky7even casino. They wanted a selfie of me standing outside my house with my name plate visible. Played down my funds and never went back again to this site. Quote
