I see some changes in the main menu. No News section anymore, there's Industry instead :)

Will now all the news be published there?

Or some will be here - http://www.askgamblers.com/casino-articles-p7 ?

Yep, you noticed correct...

News has been spread across Industry, Games and Casinos top level navigation.  In addition, we have our AskGamblers Online Casino Blog now, dedicated to general gambling news. ;)

And what's the shortcut, I mean how can readers find blog the easiest way, without needing to come to this forum thread? :)

Great question.

I am curious myself.

The link isn't on our homepage yet but as soon as it is I'll let you know where it is. For now you can read all the articles from the forum! I'll add them here as they are added to the blog!

Yes I know I'm very good to you all - you can thank me when you all become rich from slots :D

The ultimate reading list for gamblers

Here's our next installment guys and if you enjoy reading this may just be the one for you! Our team have put together some of the best books about gambling for you to have a read.

Book number 2 sounds an interesting read -  Bringing down the house: The inside story of six MIT students who took Vegas for millions. I just love to read about things like this, success stories!

Does anyone here read gambling books? There are loads out there that claim to help you win, I have no interest in those kinds of books though! Maybe some of you have already have read some of the books we mentioned? Let me know what you think.

Are stock brokers just gamblers in suits?

Give the newest addition to our blog a read guys and let me know what you think.

Which of our members here is in to stock brokers? I don't remember now but I do remember we have a thread dedicated to this topic before. I wonder if Valdes will jump in and remember?

Really? Cannot recall such topic to be honest, but then we have thousands of threads so perhaps I missed this one... :)

As for gamblers and stock brokers I don't really think there is anything in common between them. They 'trade' with information, speculations, rumors and money, we trade with our luck. That's it. ;)

We definitely had a thread about stock exchange because I remember it went way over my head :D

Anyway that doesn't matter now. I don't see the resemblance either :D But I don't fully understand how stock brokers work, never been interested in it to be honest.

Well, I was interested... A lot! There were times back when I was still a student in the math school when becoming the new Wolf of Wall Street was one of my dreams... :D

Now.... Now I think these guys /or at least the bigger part of their kind/ are either drunk, high or simply crazy while busting our hard earned money. You shouldn't be a professor in economics to turn back to 2009 and remember who and why caused that bloody crisis right!   :diablo:

Now I know you were interested makes me want to know what they do. We used to have a TV program on here in the UK about such topic I don't remember what it was called those. And those guys were crazy! Literally loads of people in a jam packed office doing thing involving money. I never really paid much attention, now I wish I did!

Well coco, I never discussed this topic here before, but certainly I came to casino's world because of the forex (foreign exchange), I was  studying markets and technical analysis for a couple of years and even investing with some brokers but operating by myself making use of my favorite platform called Metatrader 4, most of brokers have available this tool and you open and close your trades and there are automatic tools on this software as they are statistical tools, limits to take winnings, stop loss, and so on. Once I was reading another trading book and therein I discovered some branch of trading called "game trading" and precisely it is about apllying trading techniques on casino games, then I visit my first casino forum, registered on many casinos and took no deposit bonuses, won on a couple of casinos thanks to these NDB, and the rest is history, casinos are faster than market  :D

For me trading is similar to playing in casinos in some aspects as they are similar psychological formation (self control, patience, optimism and things like that), trading is binary, you can only buy or sell, so I think it is more similar to even money bet on some games as they may be roulette and baccarat, another skill you need to use in both, casinos and markets is the money management because money is your row material for playing or trading on markets.

For me they are differences and similarities between being a trader and a gambler, so the comparison is not crazy to me.
