To be fair, I'm doing the holy grail of leaderboards for everyone to guide in each and every contest.

I am still reviewing this contest in regards to @Ultras34 and I have not decided which way this will go yet. Even though I fully believe you are ALL aware that you have to post DURING the contest dates, the fact that this is not actually stated in the first post leaves me in a sticky situation. I need to sleep on my decision and will update you all tomorrow. But let me make this clear moving forward, contributing ONCE in our amazing forum during a cash contest is just such a small ask, I'm disappointed this isn't just coming naturally to some people, to be honest.

yeh but it wasnt just ultras but also potato breaking rules and with those getting out then loceff gets 6th (100e) and I get 7th (50e)

now another way is to deduct 50e as a penalty from each of them as punishment and give a 50e prize to loceff and 50e prize to me.

The future rule for 5 posts within the contest dates is good, should make things substantially more active with say 14+ entrants for big comps having to make 5 each(>70 total) outside the contest subforum.

@Potatohead Unfortunately, and I'm sure you knew this was coming, I have to disqualify your screenshots as there was no activity from you outside of this contest. Had you posted a few days before I could have allowed on the basis that it did not specify during contest dates in first post. I'm so sorry - please remember to just follow this rule for all future contests as you are such a valid member of this forum!

@Ultras34 - I fully believe you knew the rule was to post during the contest dates, let me make that clear. However, since it was not worded exactly as "during contest dates" and the fact that you had been active a few days before I will allow you to retain your position however, there will be a 50 EUR deduction from your prize and this is non-negotiable as I said I believe you knew what the rule was.  You too are a valid member of this community and I hope you remmber to stick to this rule for all future contests as we love seeing your screesnshots.

@Icy the 150 EUR will now be split between the  6 people who did not win a prize which means they get 25 EUR each. Please recreate the final leaderboard so I can do my final engagement checks.

@cocopop3011 With Potato disqualified and Ultras34 having a deduction of 50 EUR there is still a matter of one 25 EUR left after distributing the 150 EUR for the non-winners. Only 5 members didn't win a prize.

What would you like to do with it oh mighty @cocopop3011 of Askgamblers section A?

My suggestion is to give it to Potato so that everyone wins but that's my humble opinion.

Another suggestion is to boost the bottom 5 forum members each with 5 EUR. Your amazing body, your last XMAS choice!

If I'm not mistaken the admin is saying that rather than shifting @Daneski, myself and @loceff13upwards, which would result in +50eur for me and @loceff13, that @Potatohead's would-be winnings is being split between those who did not place in the prize standings.

Which would mean I am at 50eur and @loceff13 is at 25eur (AND in the Pragmatic contest @Maiwen is not getting 10th/100eur, but 25eur instead).

IMO, a very unintuitive approach, when the obvious thing would be to shift the standings and prizes up of those who were below @Potatohead.

I'm not just saying this because I stand to gain, but I can only prove myself another time since I'm a newbie here.

I just think it needs to be a consistent way how its handled so nobody is treated any differently if/when it happens again. I agree that laddering up is easy because they were next in line by xwin etc.

 

As is you get odd issues ie if Pragmatic winner(500eur) was DQ'd and you paid out the same way to non winners they would get more prize money than the player in 10th who had a higher xwin than any of them.

 Thing needs to be consistent because this won’t happen again. I’ve already made that very clear.

Sorry guys I had to make changes as I had not considered that @lucks_maximus would lose his earned place and prize. I'm sorry to the bottom 4 who I was hoping to split the prize fund with like I initially said, but in the interest of fairness I had to change this.

This is now the final leaderboard and moving forward we will ensure this does not happen again,
