Flatzem Posted March 3 Posted March 3 to clear some things up. my local time zone is +1 GMT but my bet365 casino settings were set to +2 GMT (years ago I had set this bet365 timezone setting to this +2 GMT to fix a site time issue cause of daylight savings) so when I got the feature at 23:16 CET my local time (that was 22:16 GMT) then started feature a few minutes later and feature finished at 23:25 CET and that was 22:25 GMT (desktop shows 23:25, March 2, 2025) posted the screenshot of the win at 23:29 CET (22:29 GMT) loceff13 and cocopop3011 1 1 Quote
loceff13 Posted March 3 Posted March 3 I had no idea I could play in advance(providing my entry is submitted after the GMT start time). I guess I will just have to be tactical with my big win entries posting them as late as possible with the 48hr timeframe as to not let marius have 12 or 13 hours to take a crack at it when I can't actively defend it. Like theres no issue with me posting them in the last hour of a comp providing they are from my timezones play period. Quote

You can post your screenshots even one minute before competition ends. There are no issues provided you took screenshot during contest period. @Icy used the same strategy and won the competition. Blackjax Posted March 3 Posted March 3 @loceff13 this is how it works. Contest starts at 0:01 gmt. You are +12 gmt. You can start playing when it 0:01 your local time. Take screenshot from casino history which will show your date. Save it until the contest starts according to GMT and then post it. Absolutely no issues. Quote
Icy Posted March 3 Posted March 3 I was daring once upon a time and this sweet @cocopop3011 accepted my entry last February 2024! She had the most stylish bangs and a pearly white smile that matched her sunshine personality. Posted at 6:25pm EST, 34 minutes away from GMT closing as an example that it's acceptable. https://forum.askgamblers.com/topic/15598-closed-february-contest-win-a-share-of-eur-250/page/5/ Potatohead and Blackjax 1 1 Quote
marius1978 Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Wow, that's alot of last minute action! Great contest! I'm confused, can we have an unofficial leaderboard please to see roughly where we're at? Quote
cocopop3011 Posted March 3 Author Posted March 3 I will review this situation. However I will say that the screenshot was submitted before 23:59 GMT as I seen it before the contest closed. However, I will review the game log later. Quote

Afi4wins Posted March 3 Posted March 3 @Flatzem's screenshot was taken before the contest closes and Pragmatic's bet history also showed that it was won within the contest validity period. Nothing more to say about this though, but the final decision is always in the good hands of our @cocopop3011 Quote

cocopop3011 Posted March 3 Author Posted March 3 @Flatzem Just so I have this right (I have read your explanation as to why the bet365 game log showed differently) but for the PP game log this is the time in your country, right? Quote
Blackjax Posted March 3 Posted March 3 @cocopop3011 I am really sorry that I am interfering here but I just wanted to let you know something. My concern with @Flatzem screenshot is not just related to his time. He has reviewed the casino from South Africa. His last review for a slot is also from South Africa. I contacted AG live chat and asked if bet 365 accepts players from South Africa and they said no. I double checked by contacting bet365 and they also said no. How is he playing from South Africa if they dont accept players from his region? Bet365 are very strict with their terms. I am sorry to everyone for this but I hope you guys understand my concern. Also, I am sorry if I am wrong. Quote

Btw regarding screenshot issue why are you waiting for his reply. You can check his IP address for his winning post and case closed. Just a suggestion. Quote
Afi4wins Posted Monday at 02:41 PM Posted Monday at 02:41 PM When one person uses VPN to play at a restricted casino, it's regarded as cheating, but when he plays using a VPN, oh, it's a VPN friendly casino! Utter rubbish! Quote
Blackjax Posted Monday at 02:45 PM Posted Monday at 02:45 PM A casino being VPN friendly means your country is allowed and you can use VPN. When a casino is restricted to your country and you enter false details to play there its called cheating. Unfortunately @Afi4wins does not have brains to comprehend this. Quote
Afi4wins Posted Monday at 02:52 PM Posted Monday at 02:52 PM 'A casino being VPN friendly means your country is allowed and you can use VPN.' Says who??? The sole purpose of using a VPN is to get access when access is actually prohibited or not granted! But then I'm just a little toddler to undertstand all this rubbish... Blackjax 1 Quote
Maiwen Posted Monday at 03:02 PM Posted Monday at 03:02 PM I think the casino allows a player to use the VPN if their country is accepted by the casino but cannot play certain games restricted in their country. But the casino does not allow VPN for players whose countries are not accepted by the casino. Blackjax 1 Quote
Fiekie247 Posted Monday at 03:04 PM Posted Monday at 03:04 PM I had a long conversation some time back with a manager in the casino industry ( Which I know personally) as well as a few live chat agents and the following conclusion was made clear with regards to the intent of VPN. A VPN should not be used to play or register from a restricted country, although some players do it, but then we have the Rollbit situation here in the forum, we dealt with 2 weeks ago, when the player won big, they confiscated funds due to him registering or playing from a restricted country/territory. Casinos that Allow VPN - This basically should be seen as a method to bypass restricted gaming providers to have a bigger variety of slot and live game options to play with , when playing at the so called "VPN friendly" casino. Why use a VPN? it is not for playing at a casino where your country is restricted. In the event of a withdrawal request, this poses a problem. using a VPN is to play certain games that you cannot play them if you connect with the IP of your country. Quote

marius1978 Posted Monday at 03:56 PM Posted Monday at 03:56 PM Blackjax, you go on and on about the rules here, yet you forget the most important one: Treat eachother with respect. It is unheard of how you talk to your fellow members. Afi4wins, Potatohead, cocopop3011 and 1 other 1 1 1 1 Quote

My reaction to @Icy comes in frustration. Before this we have had banter with each other. @Icy if you felt bad about it then I am sorry. Quote
Blackjax Posted Monday at 04:00 PM Posted Monday at 04:00 PM @marius1978 since you are the one talking about respect where were your morals when you were sent PM asking you to get my screenshots disqualified during Halloween contest? Did you have any conscience back then? Quote
