  1. Absolutely 100% YES. The reason for me at least is in a land based casino you are surrounded by sounds of others playing the same game, betting 10 times more, the same amount, etc., and winning big - sounds of winning fills the casino. So you are constantly reminded of the potential to win big at any moment and turn the cold streak into hot, or change machines, etc. Lots of positive distractions in brick and mortar casinos. Online however it is more of a battle with yourself. It's very easy to walk away from the computer (in my opinion), post to a forum, reply to some emails, close the browser, etc. etc. Lots of distractions that can potentially save you from a horrible loosing streak reinforced by others winning big within earshot at land based casinos. At the same time, online it is easy to walk away from a potentially hot streak, where at land based I think you are more likely to keep going when you are on a roll. Overall, I find online safer, and love the fact the return to player % is set by the game maker not the casino (from what I know so far, at least for major game makers this is the case). And online easier to control the outcome by walking away when its time to call it a loss or a win.
  2. I have tried to find out who makes this game and can't seem to find out yet, on the 8th page of google search results and all info is about its release/rollout by certain casinos. No one seems to take credit for it. I assumed it was either by Betsoft, Rival, or Real since those are the games offered on the sites it features, but I am seeing some reviews saying NuWorks makes it so not really sure who is responsible. It pays a maximum win per spin of 40,000 times the bet (good luck with that one), and its a 5 real 20 line video slot. Concerns me a bit its so hard to find out who makes it. All this talk about the 40,000x potential return I had to play it again, and just got a free spin on the 5th spin which was great, but only won $29. Usually its more like $100+ on a $1 bet. Still not bad for 2 minutes. Maybe they are tipping me for the publicity on the forum
  3. Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it. I definitely agree with you and started the withdrawal process yesterday via bitcoin. By the way when you withdraw from Bovada via bitcoin it says 15 minute time frame for withdrawal, UNTIL you actually submit the request (the site makes it clear in black and white when making the withdrawal request that it cannot be reversed or cancelled once you submit it). So once you submit THEN it says all withdrawals are reviewed within 48 hours. So the 15 minute promise on their withdrawal page for bitcoin is already automatically broken the moment you submit any bitcoin withdrawal request. And then of course the 48 hours is a fantasy, this will be my third withdrawal and the last bitcoin withdrawal took around 4 days.
  4. I have played mostly in brick or mortar but lately have done so throughout Asia for the most part. And I have found some VERY VERY cold regulated and unregulated casinos. I have personally lost a lot more in brick and mortar in Asia, compared to online. I have found that many casinos are now using server based slots for which they can actually change return to player payouts remotely, at any time (during game play). In regulated markets this is illegal, but in unregulated, anything goes. And in some regulated markets in Asia, well....not truly regulated. So my comparison is Asia versus online gaming and for me online gaming wins. I am up overall in online gaming since I really started doing it a little more than a month ago. And for brick and mortar WAY WAY WAY WAY down Compared to land based in Las Vegas in the last few years I haven't been there in too long to comment. But honestly I have found more free spins online than in US land based casinos in the past. But...it depends on the game and the time of course, some times everything is cold everywhere....online, land based, backyard, etc. etc.
  5. Bulletproof Babes is a new game as far as I know - or at least its new on the casinos I have played in. It is definitely not easy to get free games and they tend to pay from $7 to $150 on a $1 bet, but usually over $100. The average free game I hit payed around $110-$130. The biggest was around $230. Sometimes there are no free games to be had and without free games the payouts are HORRIBLE but hit one quick and its a good return overall. I am up on this game even though its not easy to win. Lots of wins pay .10 or .15 or .85 so very very low, occasional unlikely wins around $10-$35 during game play (at $1 bet). So the only hope is free games which I usually either hit quick or give up trying. Overall I enjoy it and will keep playing it not as a main game but as a sideline break from other intense games I cannot escape.
  6. I play less when winning big -- one big jackpot and I tend to call it a night UNLESS its right after starting, too early to stop, then I play until I loose it all and more When its a stable win and loose, a little up or a little down I keep playing until it turns for better or worse. When loosing I play a lot more, chasing the win that never seems to come. A few nights ago at a brick and mortar smoke filled cough filled hard to breath in casino I played one darn machine trying to get a free game until I lost about four times my start of evening win. The free spin never came. Currently I am playing Bulletproof Babes online slot and can't seem to get a free game and won't give up, so thats going downhill fast. I just stopped long enough to post on this topic - now back to the losses.
  7. I have an update to this situation. I have just received an email from both companies about a minute apart, letting me know the accounts have been unlocked. I included the reply below. There was no conversation about this, no call backs, and when I called they could not tell me why it was ever blocked (both casinos same exact situation - had to call each separately and talk to the same person). So the good news is I just logged in and both accounts are now working. The bad news is that both accounts with each casino were frozen with no explanation given for roughly 3 days. So, for now this closes this situation out - however I will probably withdraw my remaining funds from Bovada now and see what happens. From slots. lv I have only bonus money left, no real money, so I will play hard and hope I don't win. If I win big --- who knows if I will receive it or how much stress will be involved in any withdrawal. If this ends up turning for the positive I will let everyone know. For now I am still pretty frustrated even though the situation has been resolved successfully, I am worried at any minute the accounts could end up blocked again, withdrawals may not be processed, etc. It's hard to get over that. The whole point to this is having fun and trying to win, if winning is this big of a headache it takes the fun out for sure. email received from Bovada Your account has been re-enabled as per our conversation. 8. Thank you for replying, well believe it or not I just received emails from both slots. lv and Bovada after around 3 days of both accounts frozen with no explanation from either casinos, and after lots of calls and emails, etc. I mentioned this site in a few emails to them, that I was considering complaining. I have not actually tried to login yet but they did email me at virtually the same time (less than a minute apart from both casinos) that my account is now unlocked. Its amazing they never called me back, never any explanation given, and when I called they could not tell me (more calls made since above post). So I will never know why they froze both accounts with no explanation, but they claim the accounts are now unlocked. I will login and make a final withdrawal and go elsewhere now. If there are further issues with the next withdrawal I will let everyone know.
  9. My situation took a turn for the worse, I posted separately on this new situation. After the above partial withdrawal (my second withdrawal - still money left in the account/no bonus) they froze my account with no explanation for days, despite ongoing calls, senseless emails, etc. Anyway I went into a lot of detail in a new post so I won't beat a dead horse here. It involves both Bovada and Slots. lv which are very much the same I have learned the hard way.
  10. Thank for for the kind replies. I am now further inspired to continue my online gaming journey. There were a few bumps in the road, found a few casinos I won't use again, and also some good ones. So far my best luck has been on games including Dragons, More Gold Diggin', and Bulletproof Babes. I am close to trying Dead or Alive, many people on this forum seem to enjoy that game. I really feel that for new online gamers its so important to understand the importance of reading the small print (T&C) especially regarding bonuses, and withdrawals. I learned the hard way - if only I joined this forum first.
  11. Well I am sorry to report a lot of problems with these two companies. I thought they had been sorted out, but just found out they have not. I also thought they were two different companies and perhaps they are, not sure, but they have the same customer service, the same repetitive emails, and the same issues with being unable to provide any meaningful or helpful information when problems arise with withdrawals or account issues. 1st situation - with Bovada So here we go -- with Bovada I made my first withdrawal in mid to late May, and it was a nightmare. Took two weeks, had to verify myself which I did immediately but still took two weeks after that due to the Visa Fast Funds issue. I was frustrated by the daily calls and emails leading no where and the long time of not even knowing if I would get my withdrawal (which was not a win, it was less than I had deposited after massive playing) so told them I would not be using their site anymore after receiving the funds, so this brought my balance down to 0. They didn't seem to mind I would not be using them. Well a few weeks later I decided to try them again, since they seem to be one of the biggest and I felt perhaps I could trust them after all. I made another deposit and won some money, around $750 on a $100 no bonus deposit. Since they started pushing bitcoin as a faster withdrawal method, hassle free and quick, I decided to test this before playing more, so I tried to do a partial withdrawal of 550 which was my second withdrawal, but first using bitcoin. The site says 15 minutes, but it turned out it takes 72 hours + 15 minutes they explained to me a I waited for the funds. It ended up taking around 4.5 days for the withdrawal, and as usual I kept calling them and they kept emailing me the same thing again and again. The good news is they did pay me the $550 withdrawal, leaving a few hundred in the account, but I was disappointed it took them 4.5 days for a bitcoin withdrawal when I had already been verified and made previous withdrawals. I have used 7bitcasino and bitstarz and both took about 15-20 minutes for withdrawals so perhaps I had been spoiled by their fast service. So this isn't the end - suddenly I received an email that I needed to call Bovada immediately about my account. I called them and it was blocked, and then called and was on hold around 15 minutes and talked to their financial services team, who said they didn't know why it was blocked but they were looking into it and would call me back later that day. Well they never called so I have been going back and forth with them by email when they say I need to call and I tell them I did that but when i called they had no information and they reiterated about 10 times back and forth to call again so 2 days later I called again. They said once again they did not know why my account was blocked and they would call me back in a few days. I explained it was ridiculous that my account is blocked and my no deposit winnings are on hold as well since I can't access my account, and asked for a withdrawal, and they said I also can't take the remaining withdrawal until they call me back in "at least a few days." So this is frustrating already. Okay now for part 2 - slots. lv I had a similar issue with slots. lv -- won some money and took out around $800 which brought my account down close to 0 but I still had around $1500 in bonus money left. They also promised fast hassle free withdrawals by bitcoin so I made the withdrawal that way. However of course they still wanted to verify me which took a few days, then they asked for more information which they did not initially ask for (proof of address) which I sent and that took a few more days. Then they said they cancelled the withdrawal since I needed to use a unique bitcoin wallet address I had never used before. I asked them why they didn't say this up front since otherwise how would I know this. Anyway this started the process over. I immediately sent them a new wallet address for Bitcoin and a few days later I received my withdrawal, so it took around a week via bitcoin. I am leaving out the frequent calls and emails back and forth leading no where, so I felt lucky to actually get my withdrawal but I did. Well then suddenly my account was blocked, and they said to call them which I did, and then they had to ask me questions again regarding verification which seemed ridiculous, and then they told me my account was fine again to login and use and they emailed me as well it was ready for use again. Then suddenly a day later (I had not logged in yet) I received an email to call them about my account, I said I already did so why call again, they kept repeating that I needed to call then everything would be clear since they are unable to communicate everything in writing. So I called them, and guess what, it was the exact same customer service rep I talked to with Bovada. This was a few minutes after I hung up the above call with Bovada, and they had the exact same story - they don't know why my account is blocked, they will find out and call me back in a few days, etc. etc. So now I realize they have the same customer service, the same withdrawal issues, and I am totally fed up with both. Also, their withdrawal interface on the sites appears very much the same, so I assume they use the same underlying platform - which really is terrible in my limited experience with them so far. I have no idea if I will ever receive my remaining funds with Bovada (no bonus tied to it) or if I will be able to login to slots. lv and continue using the bonus that I worked hard to secure. Anyway at this point I don't think I care much since I will probably never use either again. I did not file a complaint yet on this site which I may do soon, but for now, I just wanted to share my experience so others can avoid the same issues hopefully. Using bitcoin with other casinos it has been so fast and hassle free, so I expected better from both of these casinos especially when they assured me prior to my withdrawal that it would be fast using bitcoin. Maybe to them a week is fast and I realize others have had it far worse with Bovada (I have ready about a few month wait, etc.) but using bitcoin it really should have been faster I feel. At least with 7bit and bitstarz it is lightening fast (15 minutes at most so far each time). I am new to online gaming and this is the part that has really been discouraging, withdrawals from these two casinos. I will go back to 7bit or bitstarz or try one of the others many on this forum recommend. No more Bovada and slots. lv for me.
  12. Well after receiving the partial withdrawal mentioned in my previous post above (I left some money in there for future gaming, or to take out another time), I received this email from them: At your earliest convenience, please contact us regarding your Bovada account. Regards, Bovada Financial Services So I called within a few hours, was placed on hold for around 15 minutes and transferred to another department, who then answered and placed me on hold again. Then they came back and said they don't have any information at this time, they just wanted me to contact them, so they could tell me they don't have any information yet but they would call me when they do. I asked them what could this be about, I had already been verified and received just received a withdrawal. They advised my account was locked, and they had no further information, while things were being looked into. I asked what things, and emphasized I was already verified etc etc and they said they had no information. So now I am once again very frustrated with them. It seems they are concerned I may withdraw the rest of my funds. There is no bonus tied to the funds (cancelled that previously, so thats not the issue). And I have been verified and received two withdrawals (both very stressful and challenging and each required many many emails and also frustrating phone calls with people who knew nothing). Anyway, I just want to mention this - since as of now my account is locked so I can't play nor can I withdraw the remaining funds, and there has been no explanation given and its been around 24 hours since their generic contact us email above.
  13. I had a similar issue with a smaller dollar amount, in mid to late May, around $500. It was due to the visa fast funds issue as well, took around 2 weeks with the same emails listed above (not as complex fortunately) and was finally paid so not as bad as the $3000 marathon posted above. I just received a second withdrawal from Bovada in the last week around $700 using bitcoin that took around 4 days. I thought this would take 15-20 minutes but actually its 72 hours + 15-20 minutes it turns out. They didn't quite make their time frame even with bitcoin, but only about 24-36 hours beyond it. I was still frustrated, its so easy to put money in but with withdrawals there seems to always be a question if it will ever happen. After being verified and using bitcoin I was hoping it would be lightening fast, as they assured me it would prior to the second withdrawal. Well after reading this thread, I should be pretty happy about the 4+ day bitcoin time frame, so no complaints from me for now.
  14. Had the exact same issue, they did eventually pay. It took around 2 weeks due to the visa fast funds issue. Then on my second withdrawal used bitcoin in the last week hoping it would be faster. In fact I asked them first if it would be faster since I was already verified, etc. The good news is using bitcoin they did pay out faster, but it was still outside their processing window by a few days. I expected bitcoin to take 15 minutes but took around 4 days. Still glad they paid in the end, so no serious complaints.
  15. I am new to the forum and new to online gaming. After finally getting tired of very late nights, endless clouds of smoke, and questionable return to player stats on slot machines at various overseas land based casinos - I was drawn into the world of online gaming. I like the fact that the payback is set by each game provider, not the online casino itself (as I understand it at this time). So when you're playing games by Netent, Microgaming, Betsoft, etc., you are actually playing through a portal to their site, and the gaming site you are logged in to does not affect the actual return to player (although they may place some caps on bonuses etc.). After some very questionable extended sessions (thousand of dollars on way too many occasions) at land based casinos, especially in countries that lack regulations or those with questionable regulatory oversight, it made sense to go direct to the source. I just want to ask if I am on the right track with this, or if I have it wrong (I hope not). Meanwhile, I have played at many online casinos the last 4-5 weeks and overall it has gone well, the games seem to have better overall payback or at least user experience (not entirely cold for example, some wins, some losses, good balance). Found a few bad casinos, and some great ones, but not sure I found the perfect fit yet so still searching. I am not lucky enough to live in Vegas so I am always concerned about land based slot machine payback especially with server based slots in foreign jurisdictions. Thank you in advance for any feedback.
