  1. Gambling has never been based upon rationality; if you wanted to guarantee a return on your money you'd opt for a low risk, low return investment. But that's never what it's been about. People have it in their crosshairs for a number of reasons: from the sore losers who have lost a lot/everything and witnessed the destructive effects, it's understandable: probably the same thinking as those who've witnessed the more physical effects of smoking on people they know. Then the politicians piggybacking on this for their own personal agendas. The industry is being chased with the same agenda driven vigour as the Tobacco Industry was; from personal abdication of responsibility (which seems to be the society norm now: it ain't me Guv'nor, it's someone else's fault), through to the moral crusaders who want to rid the world of all the Devil's temptation. But hey, we have the morally enlightened these days trolling Twitter feeds from 2011 to cherry pick musings to hammer people with in 2021, so it's not surprising.
  2. Heard that Evo have taken on No Limit City, together with BTG from a few months ago, as well
  3. Yeah, we will never know the story of how, or why, such a 'profitable' gambler had to create a sock account to play casino games
  4. Bonus offers hold no interest to be to be honest but that's because i've whittled my casinos down to 2/3 and don't have any plans of joining new ones (simply can't be arsed with KYC, SOW at unknowns). Whilst they don't float my boat, i do like Comps though and if i can, i normally take part across a few places. -tend to be good value IMO. News wise, aye: doesn't really matter if it's MGA as where one leads, the others (well, the good-ish) ones will tend to follow: eg. come 3 weeks it's bye bye autospin here (unless u go the route of a walkaround) Plus, they do affect players: if ten casino's are being hit with fines for SOW etc, rest assured if you've got an account with one of them, it's more likely so will you be. It can be a bit dry so some bullet points are normally the order of the day. Interviews with those involved in casinos is potentially good but i think you'd struggle to get them to talk about some things: likely to be quite tight lipped about somethings unfortunately. Should try and get someone from the GC to explain why they seem hellbent on devouring the hand that feeds them, though i imagine they struggle to spell casino, let along talk about them. Or NLC as to why they've gone from, albeit still a creative force, to producing some horrid games recently (back to Tombstone guys, not that ***** ur sending out now) I do like reading about new slots but i'd be nice to have a bit of insight into the games sheets ie. chances of 10000x, average bonus frequency: some providers are a bit more forthcoming with this info but for some it's like the Wizard behind the curtain.
  5. Yeah, MG won't communicate with Players, nor will any software provider as their relationship is with the casino, not the player They've also removed quite a few games, UK wise - not that i play any of them anymore tbh.
  6. Licence fees and absurd requirements probably are the reasons - ££££ Possibly, if the main stalewarts disappeared....
  7. Yeah, basically it means if you w/d they can't hit you with a document request if 'reasonably' they could have done it earlier - reasonably is a bit subjective though Eg. Dr Bet asked me for a card 5623, expired in May-21 this year, in Sept. They refused to release, quoting regulations. Long Story, after an email, quoting the above, it was magically paid! Like Houdini, the need for it disappeared so yes, a lot of places are breaching this - hello Casumo being one of them Yes, it applies to all requests, SOW etc included
  8. Think we're getting to the point that may need to consider it in the future but i wouldn't go 'outwith' the current list for bonus's (my desire to play with them kinda died, bar a few here and there, back in 2014) but would be due to silly RG limits, SOW etc As long as Unibet/Novibet still exist i'll continue to play exclusively there (VS the odd time). If they go or have to implement silly rules, then yeah, if i wanted to continue to play i'd probably need to do some thinking. Eg. Pretty Sure Bitstarz would be a better bet than a UKGC casino like 888
  9. Energy have 100% match on the game: unfortunately a 94% version and relatively high 60x wagering on so not that attractive. So I'll pass but others can do fiver spins on it
  10. Better that than the Invisible Hand taking your money in slots Love live games in B and M - off there today actually, but hate online: the amount of rubbish that gets typed into the chat by the keyboard warriors is ridic. Though, if they're trolling the dealer and he happens to be like the T-800, they may get whats coming to them
  11. Unfortunately, it won't feature the excellent Helen Mcrory (wife of Damian Lewis), who died this year - she was pretty epic in it, out-acting even CM
  12. PB is pretty good, tbh most things that Cillian Murphy is in, are. They did exist in 'real life' but obviously a lot of the show is embellished in terms of their reach. I don't think Birmingham has improved much since the early 1900's
  13. They were my best casino for perks back in 2007-2010 - think they were Victor Chandler then and still remember driving home and getting 'Hey, Happy b/day, we've given you 500 as a present with x1 wagering' - their deposit offers back then were good as well, x5 wagering on a lot as well.
  14. Yeah, but what i would say is that with Trada is was there with every deposit, which made it not bad, but with things like welcome bonus's i think players want one to a. play longer or b. maybe take a run with bigger bets and it doesn't really help you with either: in a lot of the case most wont even release the full lot anyhow; maybe that's why some casinos like it I know personally, once i hiot the bonus funds i put the bet up and just go for it (i never find low rolling trying to clear it works much - best go HV and relatively high IMO) Hardly get any of them anymore anyhow, so all moot - in fact Novibets 100% to 50 quid yesterday was my first from them in 3 years. Sign of the times - i certainly have no desire to register with any new places these days to get one anyhow
  15. Honestly can't remember - i struggle to remember how i made it to the kitchen most mornings, let along 7 years ago It wasn't complaint wise, so i presume i was looking to see if Genesis casinos were any good or something, in hindsight, equally as mad
  16. A lot better than most of their stuff (90% is garbage tbh - sorry V ) Had the 4OAK for 1000x myself, which is pretty cool to have in the armoury and the features are as you'd expect from their book slots.
  17. I'd say the getting of 300 euro's that wasn't his and his disappearing at the same time are as random as Bonanza's 10x wins Some folks are just classy; if it looks like a duck
  18. Whilst i like some of QS's games, mainly for wagering, this isn't one of them. Some providers have implemented the 2.5 second delay, or removal of QS, ok, this one feels firstly really slow and clunky to such an extent that you simply, if playing without (pun intended) quickspin, it's unplayable unless you fancy going insane. Dunno what the bonus frequency is but, even for a MW's slot, it's very high it seems. Getting to the third pig is pretty rare as well and then you have the wolf blockers etc if you get too - feels very scripted like a play n go slot does with the wilds going in the exact spot you don't want them too. I like Emerald, Goldilocks etc but this one's not for me.
  19. Yeah, was saying to Blackjax, it's not really a bonus: more a cashback option, like Trada used to do.
  20. After being bored to tears trying some 9 liners (yawn), 247 (or whatever) slots, back to BTG for the 1000x'ers
  21. You wager 2500 quid (if 96%) and you get 30 days access to daily battles: include free spins (up to 100), rounders tickets (win round 5 get circa 900 quid), 500 quid free rolls (80 quid for first) on a daily basis (alternate between them, with a battle every 2 hours) It may not be 2500: if you play at 94/92% per cent games, for every quid you wager you get 1.5/1.75 XP towards the 2500XP target for the months access. Every month there's 48hrs, like today, of battles for 4/5/6 free spins: you go hard at it you'll normally get north of 500 wager free FS from it (average value of 0.15p) On top of that they have free spin battles Mondays, Thurs and a few other things Battles are normally 10/30 man: need to finish top 3/top 9 respectively Are WF but to be honest i'd rather have a decent 100% bonus and 20x wagering as the rewards are pretty rubbish when u redeem the spins: low RTP, 90% Jackpot version trash.
  22. You're probably on the lucky side if they're paying you at all: hard to see any reviews of them, 'RTG' and operate without a licence means many alarm bells and it's pretty much at their own whim/discretion if they pay you I mean, big operators would struggle to offer 400%, 20x wagering bonus's, no max cashout these days (but i suppose they dont have any licence fees to worry of), let alone a casino that probably operates out of a wardrobe.
