  1. bit late in the day but least there are some voices of commonsense, though there is an agenda. APBGG calls for industry action against the UKGC (sbcnews.co.uk)
  2. Bonanza still with some life in her One of the few slots you can do decent stakes on with a bit of play, despite her critics
  3. He also bragged about playing when driving (Starburst i think), which i'm sure is pretty much the worst thing you can do. Not only that, attempted to justify it. But yeah, a real legend (insert rolling eyes)
  4. Looks like Emu are more like an Ostrich Boom, boom.
  5. Their response is to attach a screenshot of what you have? They've no intention of contacting any software provider. Be interesting to know what the insurance arrangements are between casino and provider for errors/bugs, or if they just rely on the fact it's a visual bug.
  6. Per the maths, playing a Book of 99 should be better for wagering Practical experience is i wouldn't touch games like that for it - same for bonus's, go MV plus and hope to hit a decent win. I thought it was a screenshot contest as well - re wager ones, just play your normal play and see where end up. I'd maybe chase a shot one but not a wagering one - A lot of Unibets comps are wagering and i'm never close to the top 50: some guys pouring in serious money in them (providing they're not bots)
  7. I want to enter What happened to Britannia ruling the waves? From colonising half the world to not being able to get 50 bonus funds; it's taken a turn for the worst
  8. Not just the fees as well - it's the costs associated with essentially getting 'up to code' so to speak and putting controls in place to ensure you don't fall foul of the regulator. Not sure if the UKGC staggers fines based on gross gambling yields etc (bit harsh to fine a small casino the same amount as a UK Bookie). If you don't then you go into the financial year with possible large contingent liabilities hanging round your neck. Big boys can account for this, but some of the smaller operators undoubtedly find it burdensome. All countries want to safeguard their own interests - why Aussie land did what it did, for example. Certainly not predicated on the basis of consumer protection, though they like to lead you to believe it is - keep taking the red/blue pills.
  9. I was going to say Eurocasino's are at a real tipping point but tbh it's kinda tipped already and unfortunately when it happens there's no way back - we're not going to see a reverting back to decent RTP's, of perks such as bonus offers for extra playtime and less invasive KYC/AML nonsense. Not just the UK but also Sweden, Germany has a lot of restrictions of the casinos as well. Ladbrokes asked their player base a few months ago to sign a petition or something/bombard the GC over the changes but if no ones listening to the ones who pay the licence fees, they're certainly not gonna take much heed of the players.
  10. Well, you can contact the SW provider if you so wish, but 99.9% sure you'll not get a reply: they simply don't liaise with the customers of the casino
  11. Pass - i don't keep track of over ups and down really. Probably, as it other slots, more than what i've won so far, unless i'm playing a gimped 120% RTP version. Certainly less than if playing a 90% PNG.
  12. Without meaning to enable this practice of free-rolling casinos risk free: In the UK, this is certainly the case: SE cannot, and should not be, able to be cancelled before the period requested, no matter what the reason. If it's lifetime, then it's lifetime - other words, never. Otherwise what's the point of a LT SE. Re the ability to reclaim deposits: there is a line in the Regulations stating that should issues arise then 'Bets should be void' and the player should be reset to the the position they would be in : in other words, and players have been successful in doing this, having deposits returned (taking w/d's into consideration etc). Some casinos, like Royal Panda, even though they were on a different licence once acquired by Leo Vegas, refunded people where the Leo Vegas SE didn't carry over and players played there. The wording used in the regulations isn't overtly explicit though. Like i said, not advocating this approach but it's not right to say that this never happens as, UK wise, casinos have had to do this because of their SE failings. Train of thought would be 'yes, it's not right to be free rolled but if the casinos SE practices fail, then h ell mend them' The UK is somewhat of an anomaly though and it's possible that casinos, fearing a site audit, are more prone to doing this than other jurisadiction Personally, just leave it - you lost. put your finances in order, forget about it and move on - it's not really worth the stress. And, if i have to suffer losses, then so should other people
  13. Can't play, but i think excluding bonus funds from these comps wouldn't really be that fair - what next, telling folk with more than a 100 quid budget they can't play? Any comps i've taken part in have allowed it - and, from someone from the UK who get far fewer bonus's than other countries (bar maybe Sweden), i've not really had an issue with it. C'est La Vie.
  14. Little use for UK Good job i'm in the Island. Come on Curacao, take my money
  15. Because anyone who takes a punt at 'exclusive invitation only' casino's, really, IMO, has gave up the right to complain.
  16. Would be the only thing the UK runs at 99% Aye, the 99% games are awful, not been that many, but the ones i've played have been terrible - either the providers have made a hash of them or it's simply not possible to strike a balance with the maths for good hits. And it's probably the latter. Site in the UK, Tombola, that runs theirs at 98 ish. You can make small w/ds or, get lucky a few hundred from 50 quids etc but by and large, not very enjoyable. People sit and want higher and higher RTP's but for the 99% ers, they don't play - for the reasons outlined above: bet 20, get 21, bet 20, get 18 then bet 20, get 24 - i'd rather go 100-0 but have a shot at a decent win than being sliced more times than an onion.
  17. There's a good first test of Betfred High Court ruling What the High Court summary judgment in the Green V Betfred case means for gambling operators (cms-lawnow.com) Doubtful you'll see the money though - that being said, it is a very obvious 'glitch' as opposed to some of the more back-end ones.
  18. Impressive but back in 2007 i went from 27p ish to £3,700 I was playing an Ainsworth, on Bet Victor/ Vic Chan (whatever they were called there) - was roughly the time i won the JP on Cash Inferno. Anyway, was 600 down, put 100 in and started spinning on 2.50. Ended up with 27p left or something close to it. Reduced to 18p, hit a bonus, it gave something like a tenner and started spinning on quids is....ended up getting a few more and got up to 150. Thought, sod this and did some high ones: balance was back to 1000 ish. Decided to do '10, once on a whiles' and upped bet to 45 quid: first spin the fiver scatters came in which x3 the total win: hit the full x20 multi, so it meant 45*60 i think (pays were rubbish when think about it and it gave 2700, total bal now 3700. One of the luckiest escapes i've had playing for all these years. obv not rec'd to spin at 45 quids
  19. Annoyed at the start that the UK is excluded from this Upon reading the above - no so much. Sounds like a facebook game tbh
  20. BGO have a patchy history with the UKGC - they had it suspended and then they gave it up (still think they'll need to pay the fines though) Probably, after getting it suspended, sat down and went 'is it worth fighting this?' and went no. TBH - not a very good casino group, so player wise, no loss. I'm hightailing it out of here, this is like the aftermath of a nuke going off round these parts
