New Casinos - Who Shall We Review Next?
pinnit2015 replied to ValDes's topic in Online Slot Discussions
Dr Bet are a new one - that being said, google their address and it might make you wonder who they are Played a few times; they pay within 12hours, have top RTP's and a decent selection and from reading about, unlike the likes of Casumo, they'll pay u first and then request SOW etc That being said, they do have a feel about those weirdos at Stakers about them; language on the site is a bit weird etc but give them benefit of the doubt for now. The AskGamblers Awards Return For Another Year
pinnit2015 replied to cocopop3011's topic in AG Awards
Best Casino 2020: Unibet: took bonus last night, cleared wagering, no 'we need to check game logs etc' in a/c in seconds. No RTP nerfing as well. Just a well oiled machine in a sea of averageness atm Best New Casino 2020: can't comment, not even sure there's been any in the UK Best New Slot 2020: come back next year to see if Wild Flower is DHV on super steroids. -
That's the problem as well, obviously ADR's can't rule on terms fairness (or can they?); if you break them, you're out; only when it's looked at legally the whole concept of: taking 20000 off someone for breaching such a minor term that had no effect on the win, is unjust etc. which it is: terms are there to protect casino's but some use them as a tool to beat players round the head, knowing rightly they have little recourse. An Ombudsman, similar to the financial sector, could maybe help bridge the gap in some places
-
Finally, a high profile case going all the way to the courts and, like many have said before, terms and conditions mean nothing if unfair and weighted towards the casino. Key point was BF were 'not unable to rely on terms and conditions': that's all casinos do a lot of the time, refer to t's and c's that, as above has shown, are without legal enforcement. I'd bet if other cases were brought to them, with things like taking 10000 off someone for breaching max bets by 10p etc, there'd be a good chance they'd favour the player as well. I'm sure the multi billionaires can afford it though - how miserable were they not to pay the guy. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-lincolnshire-56663830

Casumo obviously learned a lot from their last fine, so i don't have a problem with them being hit again; if not just for incompetence. Look at their linkedin page - they have theatres and full time chefs in their offices so they cannae be doing that bad

Just seen some interesting reviews about Videoslots
pinnit2015 replied to RazorX's topic in Casinos General
Problem with TP reviews regarding casino's is that that genuine issues get lost amidst the claims of scam and rigged when folk don't win. You need to kind of pick the wheat from the chaff when looking at casino reviews; look at Casumo, there's common threads across reviewers that would indicate, quite rightly, that somethings not right Same for true scam operators like verycasino, everyone saying the same thing etc. You look at one of the best IMO operators around, one that pays you 10k in nanoseconds, Unibet; they get a 1.9? Which is rubbish. If you looked at that solely you'd be lumping them in with truly dodgy operators, which is not the case. As Valdes will know, when folk give you a story from a players side, quite often, there are other issues that they've omitted to tell - particularly true with casino players for some reason. 1-5 ratings don't leave much scope as some are better at things than others in different areas but from the casino's you mentioned i'd probably have Uni at 4.5, Casumo at 2, VS at 3.5; all subjective depending on your experience i guess; if you take L and L casinos; they've won casino of the year across a few sites; i wouldn't have them in my top 5, but obviously some folk seem to like them. -
Very true, the website's a bit of a glitchy mess; plus, every other time i was taking a bonus or had FS there was always an issue that had to go to live chat. They brought out Race which was so much a beta site it shouldn't have been released IMO - put me off playing there from the off. Think lags bad there, be glad u don't have william hill - one of the worst out; and for a big UK bookie, pretty shocking

I used to be a fan of them but accounts sitting dormant there after they started asking for bank statements etc for relatively low levels of deposits. They are one that use a threhold to request SOW, and it seems a low one as well, so it's just there, unable to play any games. To be honest i'd stopped playing often there after the constant levels of bugs/glitches on the site as well. They should use discretion depending on your risk level - for lowish deposit levels, a redacted payslip probably suffices, not a full credit assessment involving your bank account. The photo's of cards aren't even a regulatory requirement - it's just something that some casino's ask for and some who don't (mainly UK based sites who don't). Asking for ones 3 years ago is a joke tbh.

He's quite the hit with the ladies and is a one man baby making machine, so he must have something about him Or, power and wealth may have quite the seductivn effect. If anything, a good advert for kids everywhere; your teachers may have given up on you but look what you can achieve with limited abilities. -

I think he's probably a placeholder for the likes of someone like Sunak to take over next year. The Tories, despite all the ***** ups, are still doing ok in the polls and tbh BoJo is still here despite all that and despite all the cronyism's regarding those private sector contracts so i think any media reports, normally left leaning media btw, are probably exaggerated. If he can survive this, he can anything. But you can tell he looks exhausted and frankly, beaten The alternative is a UK Labour Party that's still fragmented and one which i couldn't trust to run a Tuck Shop, never mind GDP. Who'd want it though, with Brexit and the post effects of the pandemic coming up as well, coupled with the Scots wanting a new referendum, it's going to be a very bumpy ride for the foreseeable future. Then again, i never thought, having seen him on Have i got News for You, he'd be PM, the equivalent of Mr Bean, so i guess all dreams can come true -

It's increasingly difficult to box folk into one leaning or the other, and actually quite dangerous: i'm probably very left when it comes to things like immigration but right leaning when it comes to economics: i've read manifesto's on both sides and would need to cherry pick elements from both to get to mine. The UK has a real undercurrent of discontent brewing; similar to that which probably got Trump elected of folk, somewhere in the middle, feeling as if nothing the parties do/say, helps them. It's hard not to see it that way when you've a group of folk, especially small business owners, feeling as if the system is skewed to benefit either the wealthy, or those at the other end while they're left in limbo. My favourite is when you get multi millionaires pretending to be spokesmen of the under classes and folk lapping it up. It's no different to a slot session - folk want value for what they put in/have taken off them -
Haha, really? It's nuts - free cash for the love of Satan, roll up, roll up

Talking of comps: Gamblers are a funny breed; i've taken part in a lot of comps in places over the years and it's always striking when i see folk, in normal threads, complain how casino's don't offer bonus's, will go onto live chat for an hour for 5 free spins that aren't there and complain about 1 quid withdraw fees yet when there are comps around where, literally, one screenshot of 2x can net you 50 quid, they don't bother. Comp ends and it's back to complaining about the above. Yawn. I remember getting 850 quid just for getting a highest multi on lightning roulette with All British; put 10 quid in and just bet on one number, min bet. There were about 4 other entrants for a prize of less than a grand? Odd.

I used to have the ideals of a young socialist in my early days but now not so much; even work wise, i found myself in constant disagreement with Unions that i used to help out, to an extent i just decided to chuck it. Now, i'm a lot more central than what i used to be I'll long be worm food before we find a way of making sure we don't have a health care system that only the rich can afford and at the same time, giving people back what, via taxation (if still the case), they pay for. Or, u say advanced capitalism, i say right wing socialism Or, if you can't beat em, join 'em. Other than the system being completely carpeted it's hard to see any light. Could be worse i guess, could be in that socialist utopia Venezuela -

NHS charges are like 11 quid a filling, private 80, root canal max 60 on nhs, private 250 etc. The NHS ones, because they're under the health terms, had lots of restrictions placed on them during lockdown which meant they basically could only see 1/10th of their base but private were different and could do more treatments than the ones accepting NHS. Found that weird but anyway. Suppose it depends where in the country you are but the waiting times here are pretty crazy. Our NHS dentists aren't really like that - i was going to them for years and, bar one - she was a nutter - they've all been pretty excellent to be fair. A lot round here see both NHS and private but many don't. It's the doctors here in the NHS i've concerns about. -

What about Top Game and the missing wilds etc that meant winning the jackpots was impossible, and many other things. Pragmatic Play went onto purchase assets of them and leave it to yourself to come to the conclusion if they're linked more than just that -

Yeah, they're under severe pressure atm - not helped by the being treated pretty shoddily by the government - expect to see some going the wall in the next while and long waiting times for years to come probably. Really is pretty disgraceful. Anyone who's had a bad tooth knows it's one of the worst pains about - i paid 400 quid call out one time, didn't care how much - i'd have paid 4k if needed to such was the agony -

Unfortunately the worries about 2 tier dental systems is becoming a reality round here - 6 monthly's are bye bye and you can't get appointments round here unless you're private. Few are going to the wall as well - one of the most overlooked health professions about and unfortunately the NHS ones have been thrown to the wolves. I sold my soul and went private as it was a work perk years ago that i still have, thankfully given the mess it is round here atm and it won't be back to normal,, i dont think, ever -

The post mortem in all this is going to be pretty shocking: Sure it was 'unprecedented' but that's why there's something called emergency planning - to plan for the unexpected/less likely - to be fair, i think a lot of other countries didn't fair much better. Sending Covid-19 folk directly into Care Homes from hospitals - and then having the audacity to fine 2 people breaking COVID rules walking on a hill. 37 billion spent by the UK Govt on a track and trace system that didn't work - even though apple and google had one, made their own, and ballsed it up. 37 billion. The contracts handed out by the Tory Party to their pals in the private sector - few brown envelopes changed hands then. Even the National Audit Office nearly called it for what it was - fraud. That's even before the handling of dentists, routine appointments and preventative treatments just being blindly abandoned as we count the cost in the next few years. There has been good ish things such as the furlough scheme but overall a lot of this was really badly handled and things like the contracts being fire out to mates in a golf club should have seen several of them charged and jailed - you've seen local council leaders being charged, yet not the senior civil servants? -
Their marketing department is very efficient though - they have now added 3 plus days a week of goodies/freebies. Amazing, some shout, but when you look at where these come from (lowest common denominator RTP's, removing many of the wheels for achievements, using the low RTP's for battles (even when you win rewards on the higher RTP game, you redeem using the jackpot version at the lower RTP) etc, the changing of XP requirements and many other things. Still, good gamification as i said. You think they're bad, try Grosvenor - they have a weird approach of their promo's are normally good (i got 200 quid of amazon vouchers pre xmas just for wagering 50 quid a day), their other promo gave me 250 quid in cash over a fortnight and many other thing. But when you go onto them to day 'those 25 FS never credited' they make u jump through hoops and wait for weeks until they come back. Imagine if it was more than 32 dollars? That's enough to make me think twice if it was me - you'd need to call in the UK Brexit negotiators.

In IR i think Amber is the high variance offering - only think, as don't know for sure but having played it over the years all my biggest X wins have come from that one (though i see some prefer Sarah, which used to give next to nothing) - in Amber, well pre HTML 5 nerfing, you were only really playing for that one hit - sarah stacked with wilds for the 750x plus etc. Sarah just seemed to be death my a hundred cuts. Hard to know tbh as most providers don't say anything in the help files re it - i know BTG state 'optimal strategy is to gamble the spins' and give you the RTP difference etc; same as some slots where it doesn't matter if you pick a,b or c; doesn't matter what you pick, you're getting 'coin win', not 'free spins' - though i think a small percentage are different to that (only small mind you) I'm not entirely sure if it matters if you pick 12 FS at x1, or 6 at x10: maybe the choice is based on volatility, i don't know if it's eye candy or not. If it's not programmed by volatility, it should be. I just approach them with the mentality of you'll get what you get.
