OP- how much are you talking here? 100's, thousands?
-
Different sides of the same coin tho; in the BF case the casino were relying on a term to negate liability and the judge specifically ruled on the enforceability of the term. Skim read to be honest as my attention span i pretty low atm: i thought the OP was talking about max bet breaches? Or is it locking deposit monies if taking a bonus? Get your point if it's the latter though: i'd be more confident in arguing the max bet breach being unfair than accepting a bonus that essentially comes with strings. The fact it's bonus funds, freely accepted and possibly clear may not help a case. That being said, did Afi not flag the contradiction in the terms? Good to see the legal team at BS picked that up. I got the impression the BF ruling that the judge was inferring that if terms are sufficiently highlighted it goes a long way to making them fair; so, for some casino's who have a pop up with 5 bullet points it might be easier for them to argue their fairness. The judgement's worth a read; though i'd pick the summary as there's a lot of legalease in them.

I've said on here before that one i'd like to see tested would be breaching max bet, no impact, win 20k. Possible that it could be thrown out by a judge but equally possible the judge may say it was clear, unambiguous and therefore agree it's fine. You need to have a serious amount of cash on the table to bring these things to court. Not that i think it'll help but probably only fair to draw the reps attention to the thread incase anything to say @OlleBitStarz
-
And btw, i've heard many a poster of the years talk of taking things to court I'm still waiting to see one doing so.

I presume the OP is taking the Betfred case into account re the imbalance, creating an unfair term? Starters, it is true the case case should be a wake up to the legal teams; it does open the door a tad for arguments to be made; some with more validity than others. But, the Betfred judgement, if you read it, had a number of other issues that made it easier for the judge to rule in the favour of the player: the inadequate signposting, the inability to expand upon what is an error etc

Stakes advice on online casino slots
pinnit2015 replied to JimieSitu's topic in Online Slot Discussions
A hundred of thousands, i read as 100,000 etc Might need to manage expectations; ending up 500x your stake in a session is an achievement these days, so doing 1 a spin, be content if you send up with 600/550 on those bets. Sure, you can hit a 1000x plus but they're quite rare to do so on slots. 2 dollars on a 50 deposit is too much IMO, personally i'd stick to 0.40 and see if you can build it up and then maybe up; sure, i've hit a decent bonus trying that method but if you do you're gonna encounter a lot of lost deposits before you do so and, even if you get a decent one, will find it may not even cover your losses up to that point. I think most folk who play find their goal is to not lose a lot, let along win thousands -

Another nonsensical post How's Dave doing , Don? -
Clicking below minimum bet taking you to max bet in some places, the location of the bet max buttons...almost like they're put there on purpose Why do you even need a max button? I mean who, aside from Streamers playing with fairy dust make believe money, actually uses it?

BI Dashboard - Tracking your casino slot activity
pinnit2015 replied to datagambler's topic in Ask Gamblers
Slottracker, to my knowledge, still offer their extension to track - though there were issues with Chrome so don't think it's supported there anymore, but might be wrong. TBH it's a bit of a novelty to me; i'd look at it for a period of time and then likely lose interest. So, to answer your question, given there already is a tool on the market for doing this, i don't see much mileage in it, unless you're gonna do something radically different. -
Mega slot wins - oh yes, it's possible!
pinnit2015 replied to ValDes's topic in Share your Winner Screenshots
The NLC rep was asked about the odds of the 5 scatters w/o without the BB and the technical answer was 'rare dude' - which i took as 'not possible' - not seen a natural 5 scatter re-trigger and if it's not possible it puts their X Win claim, lets just say, to be lies- 3526 replies

You'd probably need some context for some of these hits: players playing, number of spins put through when you see these monster wins. Pragmatic Play for example have basically turned into a Streamer Fanboy's club - and i don't believe some of them aren't aren't playing with a bespoke version of the game from the provider if I'm honest (though that's a diff convo :-p)- 3526 replies

pinnit2015 replied to ValDes's topic in Share your Winner Screenshots
There was an issue, IIRC, that the casino had their own cap that was completely different to the slots (ie lower) and i think refused to pay out the slot cap - not sure how that ended up... But get your point - i'd also like to also know, with the DOA2, 100kx, is it only reserved for certain stakes? Pretty sure the odds on getting it on 18 quid a spin are not the same as 9p Yeah i agree re the WIN UP TO - especially for games like Peking Luck - has anyone hit near that? Least Fruit Party, with a 5000x claim, i've seen quite a few. So far the casino's have resisted a push to put the odds, like a lottery card, on the back of them (wonder why) but wouldn't be surprised if they are made to at some point: from some of the game sheets i've seen it's 1 in 5 trillion for some of these hits: which is probably the same odds as me making contact with a Klingon in Asda.- 3526 replies

How can 50000x wins not exist? Been plenty of DOA2 wins that have hit that surely and Lil Devil's 60000-80000x? Pragmatic Play list the cap on their games eg Congo cash has a low cap of 2200x etc; they don't include the monetary value so i'd be very surprised if they were to say 'no, that 2200x only applies to 10 pounds bets or less' . That limits their liability to 220,000 with a max bet, which is inline with most i think Blueprint also add the 'whatever comes first to their limits'- 3526 replies

Slot of the Week (Updated Every Monday ) - Let's Talk
pinnit2015 replied to cocopop3011's topic in Online Slot Discussions
Oopsie I guess i must have been playing a fake game -
Seems odd that it's marked as unresolved after 5 days, normally you see comments from the complaints team? Equally odd is the rating a Genesis Casino has here - 7 odd for a Group that i think is not exactly complaints friendly
-
I think i'll take anything a casino says, who intentionally mislead folk with 100 1p spins, with a pinch of salt.

The most targeted age groups for ID thefts are not the over 60's; it is in fact the 30-39 year old age group. Shall we ban them as well? Plus, it's irrelevant if you do KYC properly, the bulk should be caught regardless of age But it would likely still fall foul of the Equality Act Plus, why do we give out mortgages to over 60's if they are so vulnerable? Nah, it's horses@@

I was thinking was the 247 Ways a slot interpretation of the Kuma Sutra. -
Another casino who have obviously plucked the keenest legal minds from a pool of 8 year olds And we're meant to have faith when we sign up to t's and c's that these have been vetted for fairness by their legal counsel? Must have the same legal team as Betfred
-
I think it's extremely poor (and this is coming from the person who nabbed the K and was impressed they paid it so quickly) - the terms are the terms; now we can trot out (not having a go at yourself Sharon) the old 'amend at discretion' all we want but that doesn't change anything IMO. Folk have wagered based on the close off being the 30th April, the end of and changing this just a whim is wholly unfair; that doesn't take into account the fact as Fiekie and me were noting, even THAT is incorrect. I don't particularly care about the FS either, but another thing that hasn't been honoured. My response here has probably been tempered a tad by the fact I won but still, a very distasteful flavour left in the mouth and another example of a casino approach of 'do as i say, not as i do' and a good example of how casino's can just make it up as they go along.

Marvel Casino 7. Fake casino. Do not sign up.
pinnit2015 replied to Frankey78's topic in Casinos General
Trust Pilots ok for certain things but for online casino's i never take seriously: i have a group of about ten or so folk who are quite avid gamblers and their opinion/views on casino's/games will always carry more weight than most, if not all, online review sites I had a genuine review, where i criticised a company taken down as the company disputed it: it was only after 6 weeks or me showing TP the evidence of such that it was finally published. After that i lost pretty much any faith in TP as being representative of the truth.- 18 replies

To be fair, Pimped is actually quite a decent game on one line - won a VS battle using it and had a few decent hits in real play. I think you get more mental as you get older - my gran, besides getting more evil as she got older, got super batty after 75. Before she died she was basically a fruitbat. Hopefully it's not in the genes.
-
Suppose it depends how well their private pension fund is performing; some of the richest folk I know are pensioners
-
Point proven - losing that amount in Pimped of all games, they should be banned from slots in general
