What’s the biggest amount you’ve ever won as a gambler?
loceff13 replied to Player101's topic in Online Slot Discussions
I have no idea for an individual win, I've hit Zeus vs hades 15000x for $1500 twice which is maybe my biggest in recent history. I've also had winning sessions with multiple big wins where it's been upwards of 3k+ over a few hours from a <$100 deposit. -
The proposed UK limits for monthly deposits online etc seemed really low to me considering you could walk down to a bookie and bet more in cash without being bothered. Seems like it's only set up to benefit brick and mortar businesses. NZ is prety well regulated for sportsbooks as we only have 1 legal operator(TAB, run by Entain) so problem gambling is harder, the Gov is also getting online operators out of that market for NZ. The downside is the same will likely happen for online casinos in NZ as Gov wants the revenue, if the likes of Leovegas has to share revenue with our Gov to operate in the NZ market the RTP will probably drop from 96% to 92% etc which makes it not worth playing or they will exit the market because NZ customer base is so small. I think in the next 2 years they will do it, it has support from both major parties :(. I don't think the public really cares about the online casino side of things, we have pokies in most bars in the country.

I've lost something like $800-1000 chasing a big win(wild swarm style game where you keep feeding the bonus until it triggers) and came out a loser as you would expect(iirc <30x bonus). I'm more the type to deposit $100 and hit $600 on Reactoonz, then withdraw $100-200 and put my bets up and chase even bigger wins. Most of the time I lose quick, sometimes it's a <2k cashout.

Are you aware of the currency lock rule for 2026?(see cocos post Dec 22nd) https://forum.askgamblers.com/topic/12854-announcement-contests-payments-check-here-every-month/page/99/#findComment-221613 and the rule in this comp: 1. All members will be locked to THREE currencies to avoid people changing currencies to gain advantages. I have already asked members for their currencies, and these have been recorded and cannot be changed. Anyone who did not reply or new members will be locked to EUR and two other currencies that are first used. Just something to consider as you might already have 1 of your 3 picks locked to EUR for not replying as per the rule above, if you can't choose your local currency at many casinos that might impact your choice to play with it for this comp etc as an entry with that would be your second locked currency for the rest of 2026 etc.

I just think it needs to be a consistent way how its handled so nobody is treated any differently if/when it happens again. I agree that laddering up is easy because they were next in line by xwin etc. As is you get odd issues ie if Pragmatic winner(500eur) was DQ'd and you paid out the same way to non winners they would get more prize money than the player in 10th who had a higher xwin than any of them.

and again Potatohead does the same no comments for Pragmatic comp despite being tagged in this thread with days to be aware of the issue. The future rule for 5 posts within the contest dates is good, should make things substantially more active with say 14+ entrants for big comps having to make 5 each(>70 total) outside the contest subforum.

@Icy is a replay history screenshot considered a gamelog? ie does Daneski need to post their casino bet history or is the pragmatic(etc) replay overview good enough? I notice it's been accepted many times for this player in the past and I guess the rest of us are stuck in the habit of casino history screenshots @DaneskiNothing against ya(you have plenty of time to find the spin history if required), just wondering if things had changed on this forum. Nice max win on this slot elsewhere, those 250x bonus buys are too rich for me to consider doing.

I like Skrill just because it's easier to keep in your wallet and 2FA etc. Crypto is great but if you somehow muck up a copy paste it's a huge mistake with no chance to reverse it.

I wish to retain the option to bet at the same cost per spin as other entrants. The 10(iirc) people in this thread who have named 3 currencies so far, 5 of those picked MYR and I would be the 6th. If close to half the regular players have that option I don't think it's unethical to request to match whatever they opt to bet.

What's the Biggest Red Flag For You in a Casino Review?
loceff13 replied to cocopop3011's topic in Casino Polls & Surveys
^^Yes I have learnt to check casino reviews across multiple platforms because sometimes a casino may be an 8 on one platform are a 3 on others or delisted entirely for serious reasons(not taking part in complaints resolution etc).
