      I assume you are looking from a point of view of people who wants to take a bonus. Imagine it from a point of view of a 60 + whose if/documents or cards are used. It's better for them. I won't be surprised if we see more of these. Ukgc has already blocked credit cards for deposits I guess. It may not be related to this but it's a sign of what's coming next.

      Oops. I think Mr P you made the mistake of judging the top google result as general. That number you gave is for US and for year 2019/2020 only. We dont have any numbers for Identity theft for gambling. Our only trusted source can be Valdes and Cocopop who deal with these complaints at agcs. Valdes himself confessed that some cases of Kyc are unbelievable. Most importantly UK citizens are the biggest example of Identity theft criminals and victims. Lets not forget UK as a whole has been banned to take bonuses because of their notorious bonus abuse. So much so the UK casinos dont allow neteller/skrill deposits to claim deposit bonuses. If people can steal peoples identity to create e wallets then bonus abuse at casino is stealing candy from a kid.

      I think we all jumped to a conclusion regarding that age limit thing. I just contacted live chat and they said there is an age limit to avoid identity thefts. The casino had cases were young relatives were using identity/documents of old relatives for gambling. Old people who had no knowledge of gambling. This is something @ValDes also mentioned in the why we need kyc thread. I think its a good approach. I favor the casino on this one.

      Lets add some money in this situation. 15 to 20 euros for 3 to 4 years. Then the guys at mga would be pretty swift about it. Honestly i dont mind giving 10/20 euros for getting rid of kyc. I have lost enough money in cancelling withdrawal while i was waiting to be verified. 110 euros recently in april at bitstarz. Anybody in?

      But that thing is limited to just one country. I dont think other countries would allow casinos to use bank info directly. But if Mga or any other license start giving out licenses then it would be better. It would be a good way to apply gamstop as well.

      I would suggest everybody should be issued a gaming ID, like a passport. Mga/curacao/uk gambling comission and other license validators should make gamblers request players for these gambling ids and accept the required documents like passport, driving license, bank statement and keep a database. Also these documents should be issued for 18 months and then documents rechecked. This way you could use a gambling id at all casinos without having to verify yourself time and again.

      I did talk to someone who stays in Australia an they said that gambling is not legal but a lot of dodgy casino sites operate. A lot of dama nv sites also operate without license. One important thing is that even though lots of online casinos that dont have curcao or mga license they still pay almost instantly.
