Spintastic ridiculous bonus terms

Just managed to finish wager my 100% bonus at spintastic. Had 4000kr when I was done and then a text pops up and say congratz you have just finished wagering your bonus!! My balance drops too 1000kr. I ask the support and they tell me you can only win/cash out the same amount as the bonus was when it started. This is the most stupid bonus terms I have ever seen on a deposit based bonus! Even with a free sign up bonus like ovo casino it feels a bit shady... Complete waste of time. I cashed out 1000kr kr but I just feel like I wasted soo much time by this lol...

 

Sure its stated in the terms so my fault but I did not see it. I saw the 35x max bet and what slots allowed etc.. since the site looks and works great I thought it was standard bonus terms.

 

Dont make the same mistake as I did. Stay away from this scam casino that only wanna trick new customers and piss them off. Why not give new customers a treat and end up with happy customers that will make more deposits in the future. Shocking how a casino think that they can become succesfull with these kinds of terms.

What is it with the word scam constantly banded about these days? Poor bonus conditions like this isn’t a scam if they’re transparent in the ts and cs (I’ve not looked)

 

VIKs has a x2 conversion. Is it a scam? No. Is it poor? Undoubtedly.

You are correct its not a scam. I have read their bonus terms and t&c many times now and im still not sure how it works. Cant find anywhere where it say your cash balance can always be cashed out before you start wager the bonus funds. I never had any cash balance either. My balance was bonus balance from the start.

Not surprised someone else has been confused about this casino. I have played on soo many sites and I read terms and check forums before deposit. However this time I failed a bit lol... But I still dont understand their bonus rules... Bonus balance becomes avaliable once the cash balance reaches 0. Thats weird since my balance deposit+bonus was bonus money since the start. And the wager also decreased instant after I started playing...

 

Never mind lol this casinos gives me a headache. Didnt loose anything and they approved my withdraw of 1000kr so whatever..

While I definitely agree the disputed bonus term is rather unusual and ridiculous in terms of player's retention to say the least, it has absolutely nothing to do with 'scam' accusations. It's your responsibility reading the relevant terms prior joining, depositing and using any bonus out there, simple and clear. 

 

The term in question is duly stated within their Bonus Terms&Conditions though: 

 

 

 

10. Once you complete the bonus wagering of 35 times, the bonus is converted to real money. If upon completion the balance is higher than the original bonus amount – the maximum real money credit is equal to the original bonus amount. If the balance is less than the original bonus amount, the bonus balance amount is credited as real money. Example with a €100 bonus: Bonus converted at €20 balance – real money credited is €100, Bonus converted at €150 balance – real money credited is €100

Besides Viks Casino that only gives you x2 the bonus amount after wager is completed, Quasar gaming does the same thing( I think they give you up to x5 the bonus amount after wager) - However it is visible in the terms and conditions.

 

My problem is all the wagering and then give me only x2, you can however continue to play and if you win more, you can cashout everything.

 

But I find the GameTech group x10 bonus max cashout to be a bit better than this.

 

The only good thing is that if you complete wagering and lets say you deposited 200 euro and are left with 10 euro after wager is completed, they credit you your deposit + x1 bonus amount, so which means after wager, your balance will increase to 400 euro as real cash if you have 10 euro left in your account - And this happened a few times where after wagering I had less than my actual deposit left lol.

It’s ok, we all know when the cap the wins at x1, x2 or in Nektan case x4 that’s when they’re allowed to crank up the RTP to Defcon levels....

 

Imagine winning a progressive and being told ‘ your 20 quid withdrawal has been procaessed’ (do the caps apply to progressives?). You’d see me flying off a bridge.

Previously CasinoRoom's wagering was 75x...now it's 100x? 

 

I've already avoided playing at CasinoRoom since last year, so I'm not up to date with its wagering requirements. I'd simply delete all promotional emails from them! Hahaha.

 

At 40x bonus wagering, yes, I may be able to complete the wagering playing on Finn game alone (have already done it a few times so far), but at 100x...I'd need to get to the moon and back to Earth first!

I wrote the review while I was a bit upset so the choose of word scam is wrong. Agree on that as I said before. The point was to warn other people only too not waste their time. I also stated in my first post that I did not read all the terms so it was my own fault! I usually read all terms but ofc this time I got screwed because I did not.

 

Thanks for the info maybe I will report it. I should have taken a few screen shots tho. Since the whole bonus wagering from the start was rly weird. If I had a cash balance and could withdraw and only loose the bonus money it would have been fine. Having 2000kr in bonus balance from the start that gets wagered and end up with 1000 kr when you are done was a bit of a surprise.

 

I use similar bonuses many times but then the cash balance is always shown and when its gone you start wager the bonus money.

Was news to be... got a 100 percent offer and hoped on to have a look at depositing. As soon as I saw that I jumped out again. May as well donate to charity.

 

Shame as when they first came out I thought they had the makings of a decent outfit - one to avoid for bonus lovers though, straight cash players may find them ok...

 

Should take a leaf out of bet victors or sky vegas books : x20 and x5 in some/most cases :-)

Yeah the site looks and works great. Thats why I was rly surprised a with the bonus terms. Never tried sky vegas.

 

As a straight cash player I would only stick to one site that has great loyalty program or videoslots with their huge amounts of slots, cashback and weekly tournaments etc..

I made a nice little complaint about casino rooms x75 wagering requirement and only 40 netent slots are allowed to be wagered on. Ridicilous.

 

I didnt know slotsmillion had excluded slots - You can play Dead or Alive with bonus funds right?

 

Viks implemented that 2 bonus rule recently only. in the beginning everything was cashable.

 

I really dont know what is wrong with Casino Room high wagering as well as you cannot claim bonuses with e wallets as well - Thats even worse.

Yeah I think Stek that good point about Videoslots - I started off as a bit of a bonus player but over time iv migrated away from them (I still take the Royal Panda full one every Friday and a few others). Lot of casinos are moving away from them as well and tbh I think I’d plump for a good loyalty scheme, VS esque rewards over regular bonus offers, if I’d to choose.

 

Whether I deposit to take an offer depends on my budget. Eg. This month has been relatively high roller spins on BTGs but next month will be maybe a low roller deposit spin offer :-)

 

As cash and bonus are all now separate here there’s litttle risk if any in playing the bonus - it’s like a second chance go.

Isnt Viks the casino that roshteins been promoting for some time now? Lol.. However I once made a deposit there with 300% and it had 5x the deposit+ bonus amount or something. Cashed out 400 euro or something. Their terms are very easy to understand tho and I get offers from them sometimes that clearly states the 2x conversion. Will never deposit again with those terms tho lol.

CasinoRoom was once a decent outfit...I played with them a lot back then and even reached the top most planet level in quick time!

Then they started limiting their bonuses to certain games...and increasing their wagering requirements year by year.

 

If it is now at 100x wagering for their bonuses...then I think CasinoRoom may be standing on the edge of a bridge...

and asking "to jump...or not to jump?" 

 

Whatever it is...more and more casinos may need to close shop sooner or later...

Which is why I would take up bonus offers at Slotsmillion anytime - Especially if they offer 100%, I normally make a deposit of $100 + to make sure I can score the big win with my cash.
