Will AI make impact on online gambling?

Another interesting one this and beautifully written by one of our new writers.

Do I think AI will have an impact on gambling? No I don't, at least not a huge impact. Do I think AI will impact the future? Absolutely, but not in a good way!

Artificial Intelligence, or A.I., is a very misunderstood term by most people. What it is, what it can do and how it can change everything, is not fully comprehended by most. It's like telling the medieval Romans that you are using a phone to talk to your friends around the world! They wouldn't even know what a phone is!  :p

Will A.I make any impact on online gaming? It certainly could...if allowed to!

If games start using high-level A.I in their algorithms, then games can never be the same again! That A.I could detect any player's betting behaviors and counteract those bets with the most appropriate responses, making it a lot harder for players to win. Randomness would be seriously affected! Damn good for game providers, very unfair for players! High-level A.I should never be allowed to be used in games of chance!

Alternatively, an A.I could read and detect the game algorithms and provide info on when a win or loss is most probably due! This is similar to using a Bot (a low-level A.I) to play any game, which is why they are prohibited.

Take your smartphone for example. That is also using a low-level A.I. That smartphone of yours is a lot more smarter than you think it is! It can do things you think is not possible to be done...all by remote control...if initiated by controllers!

Emoji Slots are okay and getting better, although I have played Endorphina and Netent one. Which is pretty cool. Netent I have won twice x200 and I was against the slot, but beginning to like it now. Endorphina is highly volatile, so after about 30 or so spins I left their emoji slot. I cannot play emoticons for obvious reasons - Valdes seem to like this slot...

Booming games has Emoji slot? I do not think I will ever try any of Booming games slots every again. I played a few of those slots and gave it each 100's of spins but can never trigger the feature, Valley of Pharoah, Jester Slot and 2 others, I cannot trigger the feature ever!!!!

Even when I google for videos or picture for Big win on any of Booming game slots, you only get the promo's not even anyone I think are playing there slots.

Well, after reading the article on VR, all I can say is...how???

How can VR be used to cure or fight against gambling addiction?

I just cannot imagine this...and I just cannot comprehend the treatment method either.

All I know is...use that VR headgear for long hours and you'd get a long lasting blardy headache! Hahaha.

Well, if you have a blardy headache, you'd sleep and rest all day...The way I see it, it works :p:lol:

You think so matey?

If I'm a blardy slot games addict, I must play my games...headache or no headache! Hahaha.

One more thing...playing your games in a virtual reality situation simply isn't the same as playing in real mode...

it's just like playing in fun mode and in real mode...

after a long period of treatment, the addict would simply tell the doctor "go fly a kite...I wanna play my games with real money!"

You've got a point there though! It's such a tricky subject though isn't it.  :sorry:

Addiction is surely a very tricky situation indeed...needing very tricky treatment measures...

which I do believe virtual reality simulations or treatments cannot treat something which is biologically and psychologically induced!

No harm trying though...at least it's an attempt...just as researchers are trying to duplicate the human brain...same concepts...same misconceptions.  :p

Why Free Play Slots Rock

I have to say well done to our writer Milka for this one for hitting the nail on the head and the honesty of the post. I couldn't agree more with the reasons she's mentioned for using slots in free play!.And I know we all agree since it's a topic we've spoke about so many times

Yep...agree...straight to the points and no hanky panky...however she did miss out on a few important points...like to caution players that playing in fun mode cannot be the same as playing with real money...just so new players won't get the wrong expectations!  ;)

Well yes but the topic was Why free play slots rock - I guess that would come under a different topic - Why free play slots don't rock  :p

Hahaha...yeah...you're right there! The other topic could also be aptly entitled 'Why Free Play can be like a Quicksand!'  :D

Well...the article talks mostly about the myths of external programs to create wins on slot machines, which are true in a way, and are illegal to use in the first place. Nothing about secrets on the slot machines themselves, I'm afraid...nothing that I don't already know that is.  :p

I think a lot of our blogs are aimed at the newer player since it's very hard to teach experienced players (like yourself) new things  :p

I don't think a lot of players do all that tracking or auditing. They just wanna have fun!  :D

Well, that's fine if the player has a big fat wallet every month to just play and play and play without worrying too much. Players like me, I cannot afford to be like that, so I keep a spreadsheet of all my deposits and withdrawals at every casino that I play at. I know how much I've deposited, I know how much I've lost, and I also know which casino is better for me to play at.

Tedious and time consuming to keep such tracking, but definitely worth the time and effort!  ;)

I'm the opposite at the moment, I don't spend enough to have to worry I just deposit now when I have time so I really don't need to worry about keeping track. Although I would love to know which casinos are better for me to deposit at :p

Yeah...I can imagine your busy daily schedule...hardly any time for slotting. Since you are not depositing much, it's not critical for you to keep track of them.

Which casino is better for you? That's easy! Which casino do you win always, or more times than the others? That's the one!  :p
