I had an unreal losing streak for my birthday :(

I know it's not a big consolation, but imagine that so called "unreal losing streak" lasts not just a day but for months...like it used to happen with most of us. :( You just start feeling as if the big win will never come and no matter what game you play and the bets you place you will just not stand a chance... And then, all of a sudden, when you least expect it, whoom and there you go, end of the losing streak /real or unreal/ and start of insane row or wins! ;) I guess,  we all gamble and hope for that moment.

Well, I always feel that the BIG win will never come and that I'll always remain some small little gambler with maximum of €200-300 wins, sometimes once in a few months...  :cray:

No worries, dear... Your DAY will come, I can bet on that. ;) You just need to be there when that happens. :D

Hahahaha, and that will happen probably only if I make you a company, while you're gambling and winning. So, I'll just be there when it happens :D

The same applies for the number and frequency of the wins which must occur during this RTP cycle... Another vague moment is whether every time you open that game in any casino you start a new RTP cycle or not?...

This is kinda what im talking about when i say i think its "rigged".

Yes the games will still be random, but if the so called RNG cycle just loops. Then its bound to come losing streaks after a certain point, and most likley after a big win such as we all experience. Same as the flipp side, lose allot and for a prolonged periode of time and you will win big. Its almost certain like clockwork.

The only random factor will then be if you are the lucky person who gets that win that the game must pay to uphold its RTP.

Im almost certain this is the way slots work. They portray it as if every single spin can produce a jackpot regardless of previous outcome but i doubt it. Then we would have seen people hitting the Mega Fortune jackpot two times back to back in one day.

Yes it would even if random, be very unlikley but so is winning the lottery and people win every week.

What an in-depth analysis!

Thank you so much for sharing, I bet now all fellow members here will quit online gambling immediately.

I don't know if this is a high level sarcasm or if it's literally. Hahaha!  :p

I think it's not about luck mate? It's about the algorithm of the slot well you know Maths is more certain than luck....

What i learned from my gambling experience is that one losses most when it counts on the fact that math is most certain than luck. The most certain you are on a win, the bigger the chances you will lose. And I observed this not only in slots, but mainly in Poker with real persons, which you need to recognize that is truly random!

I hope that you're aware on the fact that slots have its own "adaptive algorithm".

Where do you have this info from? Does this mean that the games "adapts" to our playing patterns, and losing/winning streaks.. Such as going dead after big win or paying out after long dry spells? This would make the games "compensated" and not random tough.

I myself have a feeling its not totally random. Even tough i have won big amounts at casinos where i have not deposited much or even at casinos where my very first deposit is a win. But sometimes you just get the feeling its not random.

Fore example i have won about 125 000 NOK - ruffly 15000 Euros at Nordicbet and i swear for the last 2 years since then i have done nothing but lose there. Like everytime i deposit i stand no chance.. I can play the same games on the same day elswhere and have much better results as everytime i play there after that win i have had insanly poor sessions. Resulting in closing and reopening my account before i finally closed it permanently yesterday after two of my worst deposits in my gambling career.

So sometime i do belive its not random but as you say adaptive algorithm.

Other examples is betting 0.90 on Dead or alive and raising my bet to 2.70 and hitting 5 scatters on the very first spin. This just seams so unlikely to happen.. Imagine the odds of 5 scatters is probably somewhere in 1/150000 and then on the first spin after raising my bet it must be one in several hundred millions fore that to happen.

Hi everybody, I am new to this forum and I'm glad I found others who are wondering the same thing I am.  I really enjoy the online gambling thing but I think I am going to just continue to give my weekly donation to the Indian Nation, that being Winstar World Casino. I won $1,500 on Planet7 and to date I have not received my funds, which, I understand takes time, but I have not won a red-cent since.  And, I play mostly with my own money and not with a bonus.  I hit my first "real jackpot" for $2,000 when I went up North last Saturday and lately online I feel like I am just tossing the cash away playing online, and that is a bummer because I really enjoy Planet7 games.  Anyway, I guess that's why they call it gambling.  Good luck to all of you - Win Big!

Hello ValDes, thanks for the link to the intro page.  As for the complaint service, that is how I found this website, lots of good information.  Thankfully, at this time, I am not to that level of frustration.  After reading many of the complaints, most of which are resolved, I have faith in Planet7 getting my funds to me, and I believe patience is the key. Besides, I think I am more worried about getting sucked in, continuing to play, and never winning a single penny again.

Hey, look at that  . . .  Never win, never have to worry about getting paid.   Problem Resolved!

Well that's just a theory, i had been playing slots for many years and as i researched about "how the slots/casino games work" reading forums and many more i found many interesting article that makes you wonder if casino slot was designed for adaptive algorithmic pattern. You can view these reliable studies below.

Found this on another affiliate site:

Formation of the Fund for payments:

Playing in any of the gaming machines Netent you participate in the lottery, the organizer which keeps between 1.5 to 10% of the prize pool (see the interest payments on this page to the right). All bets are all players in the selected slot machine summed and then subtracted current winnings and the fund is distributed among the participants in the form of large and huge wins. Naturally, many lose, but those lucky enough to pull the "winning ticket" get big wins. If no one is playing the selected gaming machine does not change its state. The main difference from the competition is just a community gathering statistics and a large number of participants from a single centre for the software that is on the server Net Entertainment. An important observation is that each of the slot machines is not only different game-play and bonus game, but also the speed of the cycle of payment accumulated fund. This parameter is extremely important for the understanding of the basic principles of operation of slot machines Netent. Learn more about the effect of cycling on the next page:

  • The concept of the cycle in video slots Netent and a list of all games

Identification of the state:

Every player wants to win money. To do this, it is important to be the only participant of the lottery when the gaming machine is ready to pay. Using our recommendations to determine the mood of the unit using the module free games give players a real advantage over other participants of the drawing. Learn more about the rules of the game of choice automate Netent to win money on the next page:

  • How to choose the Net Entertainment video slot to win money?

Here is an example:

Player1 launches Starburst video slot in the lobby Nextcasino. Player2 runs the same slot machine in the casino Guts. Both play at the rate of 1 Euro per spin. Statistics for the program is no difference in what the machine is running a gambling establishment. Both of these players will fill the fund for the payment of EUR 1 for each rotation. At the same time, the fund will be deducted from the current winning both players and interest Netent (in this example, 3.9%), and the main fund will accumulate to pay big win one of the players. Since the speed of the cycle in Starburst labeled as "fast", large amounts will accumulate seldom and medium-sized winnings will occur frequently.

By design you can achieve the desired return to player and being completely random. For instance roulette, it doesn't calculate previous winnings yet the return to player providing a large number of spins is the same.

The design must be very clever in that case. Either online slots operate like that or they calculate overall winning and then it's not really that random. And yes there are times that it appears that actually it's the second, they give winning in bursts.

The facts are:

1) Casinos always win.

2) Any possible winnings come from the loses of others.

3) Likely you'd lose your money. NEVER bet what you can't afford to lose.

  • 3 years later...

Great thread. I've seem to experience the same. Let me ask you this: the 10k you won, when you run the numbers deposits vs withdrawls, are you even, in a loss or ahead?

It seems to my experience that at some point i could never exceed that what i depositted. And it's like one out of a 1000 that i am lucky enough to be ahead. But once you won big, it's impossible to win anything at another slot or so. Like your account is flagged for some reason. Just nothing works. Not even going low bet. It's just a waste of time and funds.

I know alot of people say it's a bad streak and it's a low period of time in slots, but remember, all these online slots are centralised these days and i'm sure players could be identified. It's like when you are in a losing streak you get compensated with a weird win that keeps you settled for another half hour or so. I've bin going to casino's for a while now, but online slots are the most unreal thing ever.

Winning rotation? This means the games are not at all random as they claim. Only randomness is who wins the accumulated pot.

Well the winning rotation gives everyone a reasonable fair chance. It could be based upon randomness yes. But that just kills the whole concept of a true random slot. They are not and never will. The RNG might be random yes, as it spits out combinations of numbers, but the algorithm is there in order to make sure the game provider and casino gets their share as well.

Slots are not designed to make losses for ones who exploit this. Slots are designed to give a steady reveneu of cash for both provider & casino. Why do you think landbased casino's are stacked with slot machines in the first place? 80% of their net income is purely from slots. My opinion is i no longer really enjoy online slots. It's bogus. It's nothing random at all.

I've had a far better chance at a local casino then a online casino, even when the RTP is advertised as lower. Everybody is looking at RTP and proclaims that this is the holy grail; it's not. If i spend 50 dollar and win 60 dollar to be on 110 dollar, the RTP would be as advertised. But it starts hitting jack ***** the moment i raise my bet. The difficulty seems alot harder and the chances is big that i would spend my 110 dollar in just a few minutes.

They feast from the ones betting big; and they always seem to reward the lower playing betters with the intention to start betting higher. They are intentionally trying to create a new breed of gamblers this way, to ensure their 'steady' revenue year by year. So my advice to anyone losing at online slots, stop. Goto your local casino. Chances are better there anyway.
