I'm not too optimistic, in all honesty  I know @Fiekie247 took the same bonus earlier in the week yet got no noteworthy wins from it 

It's at 24Casino, and the bonus is found here on AG under 'exclusives'. I also got 50 FS on Elvis Frog TW and 24 FS on BB Splash. It's one of those casinos that looks real nice and smooth at first sight but when you inspect them closer you find that they got Pragmatic, BGaming, Nolimit etc on 94% and you're just heartbroken. Oryx seems to be at default RTP though so for contest purposes, it's perfect

I might add to my post above (even if I doubt it will become an issue) that the max win on this 24Casino bonus is 5x the bonus amount.

@marius1978 Well bro, I wish I can have a nice 300% bonus anywhere for the contests, but there isn't any. Either those damn casinos are restricted for me, as 24casino is, or there's simply none available that I can take.

So I'm always at a big disadvantage at provider's contest.

Well, 3750 spins into Down the Chimney for the night I think I'll rather go play something else. Something enjoyable. Something not Bragg.

I got a 100x almost rightaway but now, 20 bonuses later, it remains the best hit by far.

I'm usually very patient about slots, but with these... I don't know,  it just doesn't feel worth the wait.

Are you comfortable telling how much bonus you took and how much did you manage to wager? Did you only play bragg slots?

I deposited about 100 euro, so I had like 2000x worth of balance for grinding Down the Chimney. I really thought I'd see at least a 400x at some point over all these spins but none in sight! In fact, I've only had a single 100x win. Still not over but at this rate it will be soon.

The flat prize structure helps for me as the leader, typically someone in your position(4th) has no incentive to improve at this point because you are risking another 100eur to try to potentially lock up 150eur more which does not make much sense. If you moved out of the money it might.

 

The next comp thats really top heavy is a different story where someone in 4th-10th still has a huge incentive to keep playing  because 1st place is 5-6.67 times higher than their current place

I agree fully, looking at risk vs potential gain. There's no incentive at all. But then there's the old saying "in it to win it"

I always feared that you had this attitude. I have done this too and few tines and lost 400-500 euros more than the offered first prize.

At the end of the day how does the feeling to be at first place justify after losing more money than what the first place is offering?

You also have to add to the equation that if you win a Highest Multiplier contest, it will be because you had a real nice win along the way.

For instance, in the latest Pragmatic we battled out, I hit about 1500 euros on a 0.2 bet, immediately ready for cash out.  This in adddition to the generous prize money, and not least the immense satisfaction of finishing 1st

Yes, I agree @marius1978. Winning the contest and also getting a big cashout win from the game would make anyone feel on top of the world, but this can only happen on one's lucky days, not always.

Hmm, I think I may have been playing the wrong games all along.

Down the Chimney

Let's face it, this is just too low volatility for anything significant to happen. If you somehow get a 500x you're probably in max win territory. I also doubt the "Grand" has ever been won on this one. It will keep you alive for a while, but just keep an eye on your balance and you will see how it only gets eaten, very slowly, but steady.

Creepy Christmas

I had high hopes for this one as it is a fairly intriguing slot with lots of neat features. But it goes into balance eating mode before long, and with a higher min bet than the others, any recovery will quickly start to feel insurmountable. Certainly doesn't help that the game needs frequent reloads which in turn sets the bet to 5x higher than the minimum. Something I got burned on the other night, when I reloaded, put on 100 auto, and went outside for a bit. Luckily something had hit in that time, if it hadn't I could easily have lost like 400x in just a couple of minutes. I had even warned about this early on in the contest, so you see how easy it is to forget. Very unnescessary design. @AlexBragg

This'll be the game where I make my final surge towards the top of the standings, and is also the game producing the altogether best hit so far in the contest! Disliked it at first but I've just enjoyed a real good hour or two of playing it, more than doubling my mortally wounded balance thanks to a very frequent rate of the respins feature. These respins have all kinds of neat potential, with things like collects, quadruple cells, or boosters. I've hit total wins just under 250x three times already and I think it might just have an 800x hidden somewhere in there, which I feel good about finding sometime before my balance runs out!
