Hitting around 1-2kx on avg within 30k spins in total doesn't seem lucky to me at all.

Yup, I agree with you 100% there.

Every contest with bonus buys is reserved for those people, that see the #1 price as "oh, another handful of spins I can buy".

 

Not too long ago one guy at Bigwinboard was just flexing with super bonus buys for 1000€ each, while the #1 place was just 500€
