I suggested this one from the other forums out there! Kudos!  ;)

Anyway is this thread is still active? I see many new users out there?

Thanks.

This guide was written long time ago, but I guess it's still adequate enough for beginners in online gambling and that's why I left this thread opened for discussions.

Great read - thanks

I did however do as you suggested and googled 'black-listed casinos' and found 2 x casinos listed ie Jackpot City (on which I recently won $4000 and was paid without any issues) and Slotsmillion from which I have recently walked away with $200 & $400 (which were both paid out to me within 24 hours of my request). In view of this I think the addage 'dont believe everything you read' comes to mind.

Yep, and neither of these casinos are blacklisted here either  :p

Thanks for the kind words, your feedback is appreciated. :)

When it comes to blacklisted casinos, I guess you won't find two gambling related websites with identical ones, simply because all of them are applying their own criteria when deciding which casino deserves to go there... However, at more careful reading you will most probably notice that a huge part of these blacklists are matching and contain same casino names - proven rogue casinos usually.

I would personally stick to reputable names within the industry, so in the UK that's Stan James (of course), Bet365, William Hill, Ladbrokes etc etc.

If you do come across a Casino you are not familiar with and a promotional offer that's too good to be true, it usually is!

I always check their layouts, how their websites look like. The amount of their games and of course the provider. If they spent a lot of cash for their company then to me they are safe to play with.

I am not saying that cheaper ones are not to be trusted but the chance is there.

Or just read the reviews from forums etc.

A few years ago I'd play anywhere, I couldn't sign up to enough new casinos. Literally one after the other in search of a welcome bonus on every deposit. Now the thought if finding a new casino just doesn't bode well with me, I've become very cautious and stick now to my regulars.

Hey Valdes, I just read your lengthy and detailed post and wow, the message and the lesson you're trying to impose is just terrific! Thanks for such wonderful sharing :) Plenty of online casinos across the world take advantage of gambling addicts and their bank accounts. Usually before I sign up for a certain casino, I would read plenty of reviews about that casino from other gamblers so I would be sure that my hard-earned cash wouldn't be placed at great risk.

Yeah, although I wrote that guide couple of years ago it is still adequate as little or nothing has been changed ever since when it comes to online casinos. Unfortunately... :(

rule # 2 is very important

loved it thanks

Glad to hear you find that old guide to be still helpful.... Unfortunately, the industry didn't evolve much over the last couple of years when it comes to getting rid of the 'rotten apples', isn't it? :(

With reference to rule number 3, this matter should really be taken seriously by all beginners for their own safety in the playing field. Serious and mindful considerations should always be paramount to the person who will play before making any banking with the casino especially in making deposits. Also, take note of the fees for depositing and withdrawing, though its seldom nowadays, better be informed than sorry.

Hey guys. I would like to ask for your advice. I am new here and recently I have been carpooling and one man recommended me one online casino. It is called casino guru. IDK whether you know it or not.  I have no experience choosing an online casino I am not sure I could trust this man, that is why I am looking for some information maybe review of this online casino. Do you have any experience with it? Don't you know where I could find any reviews regarding this casino? Or is there any page where I could write my question? Or what kind of online casino wuld you reccomend to someone who starts playing?

Thanks in advance.

Never heard of it and I know most casinos.

The one you've called is an affiliate review site....are you sure you're not trying to promote it?? Some dubious reviews on there as well - 888 with a 4.2/5? Someone must have a sense of humour.

Well considering you haven't actually mentioned a casino, I'd hazard a guess Pinnit is right above with his note.

Also why are you carpooling with someone you can't trust?!

Haha good catch, never noticed that....

Chosing a casino may be the least of his problems when the guy says ‘yes, I know this isn’t a main road: it’s a shortcut, trust me’

Eek
