SKRILL - The BEST e-wallet for me!

Recommended Posts

Some years ago, Neteller was my top favourite e-wallet provider, but when Paysafe took it over, Neteller became more expensive to use!

Skrill, on the other hand, was also taken over by Paysafe, but was managed in a slightly different way, by a different management team. But all these are nothing new to gamblers, most of whom had, at one time or another, used either Neteller or Skrill for their deposits, withdrawals and bank wire transfers.

So what's new, you may be asking?

Bank wire transfers, as we all know it, would take a much longer time for the money transfer to be completed. Previously, taking 10 business days was the norm. Not too long ago, the standard has improved to 5 business days, cutting the time by half. Nowadays, bank wire transfers are usually completed within 1 to 3 business days, although the transfer notification may still indicate 'up to 5 business days'.

For me, my bank wire transfers via Skrill would only take 24 hours or less. Taking 2 days may still occur, but are quite seldom so far this year.

Now for the best part...3 days ago, I made a wire transfer from Skrill to my local bank account, as usual, and in the usual normal manner too, but guess what? I received an email notification from my bank that money has been credited into my account...not 24 hours later, but not even 3 minutes later!!!

This was the FASTEST bank wire transfer I've ever had from Skrill...and it must be a NEW RECORD for any continent-to-continent bank wire transfer speed!

WELL DONE SKRILL! Hope this speed can become your new standard time for wire transfers and leave all other e-wallets providers far behind! :good::good::good:

I also use Skrill. I have now added my card to my Skrill so I can withdraw instantly- the money gets to my card in a minute and the fees are lower than for bank wires.

Are you referring to your credit card or your bank debit card Blondie?

I'm now wondering just how many countries are restricted from using Skrill at casinos. It's either quite a lot of countries, or a lot of casinos are not in favour of having Skrill as a deposit and withdrawal option.

Anyway, I'm so glad that all Highweb and Winzon casinos have reinstated Skrill for my country, so I'm back to playing there now, although I still can't afford to do it regularly, hehehe.

You know the thing I hate about Skrill though and it's a major downfall for me - their customer supports SUCKS!

Generally speaking, yes, I would agree that the customer support sucks...even their replies via email can take a few days. Only VIP members can enjoy their Live Chat services, if I'm not mistaken...I cannot be sure cos I'm not a VIP at Skrill.

Oh really? I didn't know they had live chat for VIPs, I checked before and the limit was something like 15K a month to be a VIP?

It's one of the better perks by being a VIP. Yeah, need to spend a lot every month to maintain the VIP level. Short of target amount would mean a drop back in level!

If only I had 15k floating around to enjoy Skrill live chat, huh? 🙂

I promised myself to never use skrill again after I had quite long talks with their cust. service. Thanks but no!

paysafe, qiwi, ecopayz, astro, and surprisingly jeton are great options.

Skrill and Paysafe are same company....the other ones tooooo small to count.

I can recommend Mifinity

Skrill is great these days.

I hate these random account being placed on hold for KYC or need some other information which are extremely confidential

Also - Skrill must get live chat for all VIP levels tbh. This back and forth 4 emails to understand my concern is really frustrating.

Skrill has never been better!

Deposits and withdrawals are free at almost all casinos (I simply cannot understand how a handful of casinos can still charge fees), but BEST OF ALL, bank wire transfers are now INSTANTANEOUS! Make a bank withdrawal and the money gets into your bank account within 1 minute! Now that is SIMPLY SUPER!!!

That's super good news! Instant withdrawals! 👍

My concern are Skrill's fees. Each bank transfer takes $8.10 CAD (5.50 EUR). Moving cryptocurrencies are a big headache.

@Icy  I'm totally not bothered at all about the transfer fees charged by Skrill! Those fees have been in existence since day 1 so why make a big fuss out of it? Yeah, the fees are slightly higher now than before, but I'm more thrilled for getting my money within seconds, if not within 1 minute. If I use my bank for a wire transfer, the fees charged by the bank would be even bigger, and THAT SUCKS!!!
