SlotsMillion, new design, new approach...share your thoughts

Recommended Posts

Dear AskGamblers community,

My name is Charles Gross, I am the founder and CEO of online casino.

I’m reaching out to all of the casino players on AskGamblers, on behalf of the entire SlotsMillion team because we’d kindly like to ask you for your assistance in collecting valuable feedback from the people whose opinion matters the most in this industry: the players.

I’ve worked in the gambling industry for over 15 years. First as an affiliate, later moving into the operator world.

SlotsMillion was launched back in the year 2014. Since then, our goal has been to provide an exceptional online gaming experience to players worldwide, driven by our love for slots, our passion for innovation and our ambition to become one of the largest online slots portfolios on the internet.

It’s been an incredible ride since then, and we’re now proud to host over 4000 games ranging from over 100 of the industry's best game providers; to carry licenses from the SGA, the UKGC and the MGA; and to have been honored with numerous prestigious awards throughout our time on the market.

However, our present and future aspirations for SlotsMillion are much, much greater. That’s why 2020 was such a significant year for SlotsMillion. It was a year characterized by change, including many updates to the brand, the company, the team, and of course, our product and the way we operate.

We completely redeveloped our platform to add new features and capabilities in order to improve the experience we offer to our customers.

So perhaps you have noticed SlotsMillion’s rebranding and our new website, launched last year. All these changes we’ve been working on have been in preparation to take SlotsMillion into its biggest, most ambitious chapter yet.

This year our team has been busy at work improving all areas of our casino and the experience we offer to our players. There have been infinite brainstorming sessions, ideas, and projects. We’re very thrilled about the changes carried out so far, but even more so, about the many changes we’ll be releasing in the next weeks and months.

But to truly improve the experience for our players, nothing makes more sense to us than to hear first-hand from our players what you would be happy to see change on our site.

That’s why today we’d like to ask all of you for your genuine, honest, and unbiased opinion about SlotsMillion online casino.

Have you experienced issues when navigating our site? We want to hear from you.

Do you have any feedback to share about our promotions, our Customer Support, our product? Leave us a comment below!

Similarly, if you have any suggestions about the type of games you would like to see on SlotsMillion, the emails you receive or the way we promote our casino, we’re waiting to hear from you.

Regardless of if your experience on SlotsMillion has been great, good, neutral or bad, we want to know why. What you have enjoyed? What you have disliked? And most importantly, what you would be happy to see on our site?

Your opinions and comments will not just be taken into account by our team, they will be the backbone guiding our upcoming projects.

Offering our players a unique, entertaining and seamless experience is our main objective, so nothing makes more sense to us than to reach out to AskGamblers’ fantastic community of casino players to ask all of you for your honest feedback.

Feel free to leave screenshots, suggestions and complaints of any kind. We will be reading and responding to everyone’s feedback, but most importantly, we will take them back to each of our departments to work on making them a reality.

Thanks to everyone in advance for your valuable insights, for taking a moment to share your thoughts, and for the crucial role your opinions will play in guiding SlotsMillion’s upcoming projects.

We are thrilled and looking forward to hearing from all of you!

Hi @CharlesSM

Welcome to Askgamblers.

Honestly I have not played at SlotsMillion for almost 2 years now. You guys were on point with everything basically, gaming portfolio, non-sticky parachute bonuses etc.

- First of All there was no loyalty for me then - as a depositing player I never received a freebie or No deposit spins, however imagine how I felt when Mr Pinnit aka @pinnit2015 come in the forum bragging about a 100 spins or cash bonus as being a regular depositing player at your Casino.

- 2nd - You website had a lagging issue, not sure if it is fixed now, however I ignored this since you were one of the few casinos to host the most providers without any restrictions for me specifically like other casinos where I could not play Push Gaming, Red Tiger, but I could at Slotsmillion.

- But the main reason I left stopped playing was the inconsistent withdrawals. One Day my withdrawal is approved and processed within  4 hours, my next withdrawal will take 4 days to be paid, and the next one 24 hours. This irritated me the most, as I don't know what to expect - Withdrawals in 4 hours, 24 hours or 4 days!

FYI - The new dark look of the website looks better than the pure white, and it seems overall performance of the website is faster and smooth

Just logged into my account - Glad to see my account is still active and working 😆

Hello there Charles.

I'll be very frank with you. Some years ago, I played at SlotsMillion, made several deposits, but never made any winning withdrawal (if I'm not mistaken!). My luck at your casino was never good, my favourite providers were not in your portfolio at that point in time, so I finally had my account closed. Can't remember now when that was, but was probably more than 4 or 5 years ago!

My question is...if SlotsMillion promises to be an extraordinary casino by any standard, then I would like to give it one more try, and I would like to know if it's possible to open a NEW ACCOUNT? Never mind about my old closed account...I don't want to relive it either! 😜

Hi Charles and welcome to the forum!

Been a while since we had a CEO in here so it's a pleasure indeed. I too am a very old customer of yours, had an account when you first opened, used it a few times but can't seem to log into it now.

As already mentioned above I definitely prefer how your website looks now to what it used to look like.

I will try customer support now and see if they can track my old account 🙂 Great to see you still have a UK license.  The welcome bonus for UK players would suit me as I'm a low depositor but shame UK players can only claim up to £20 on their first deposit, restricts people who deposit more than £20.

Support just confirmed that I would be eligible to open a new account Afi so worth a shot!

I've just visited their website, browsed through their Bonus Terms, and found one 'Bonus Abuse' item that I don't like at all...meaning, I cannot ever play my favourite Playtech and PlaynGo games with lesser than the max lines! Damn maaan...that's not good at all for me! 😡

  • Using limited lines within a slot when wagering a bonus to increase volatility,

outrageous for them to have that in their bonus terms.

Hello @Fiekie247,

Thanks for your message and feedback.

We've reviewed all our processes and you will see now that your withdrawals will be much faster!

After reviewing your account, I can see that you have received different kind of bonuses from the deposit bonus, to the free bonus and the freespins. Then I'm happy to see that, the mistake has been corrected after and you enjoyed them.

Hope to see you coming back and giving me some feedbacks  of your impressions and to see what we need to improve.

Charles.

Hello @cocopop3011,

Thanks for the warm welcome. Yes, as a CEO it's good to understand the feedbacks from the clients and really put myself on it. Like that I will understand how to improve our product and processes to become the best play ground for them.

We have a limited welcome offer because this bonus is to make you discover the casino and see if it fits with you. It's like giving you an extra of time to test all the features and games. After if you are interesting to continue to play you will be part of our Customer Relationship Program and you will receive different offers adapted to your profile.

Enjoy your experience and give us your impressions

Exactly...and it sucks BIG TIME!!!

If the game is a restricted game, then I'm okay with not playing the game at all, but my favourite Playtech and PlaynGo games (including Gamomat games too) are not restricted games, so it's absolutely UNFAVOURABLE for me and to my style of playing!

Charles should look into this and remove that idiotic term! 😝

Hey @Afi4wins and @cocopop3011

Could you explain me better, why this term is so bad for you?

Like that, if needed, I would be able to review it with my Chief Compliance Officer and my Head of Fraud?

Firstly, I always take a bonus because my budget is always very small...I'm a very low roller! Secondly, I always start my play with less lines to test out the mood of the game...if it's going bad, at least I would minimise my losses, if the going is good, then I could play with all the lines that I want. Thirdly, certain games are money-eaters if played at all the lines...especially Book games, Pimped, Holiday Season, and many more...so I always find it best to start playing such games at much lesser lines. This way, I can stretch my small budget for a much longer play time and fun time...it is NOT because for increasing the game's volatility as you have stated, Charles.

If I cannot play my favourite games as I like it, as I want it, then what's the point of me playing those games in the first place? I'm in control of my budget, so I'm always in control of my bet sizes. Most of the time I AVOID playing games with fixed lines (games with more than 243 ways to win) simply because I don't want any game telling me how much I should bet! After all, it is my money! 😜

I actually use reduced lines in a slightly different way but all for the same reason - budget. I would usually try ad reduce the lines as I start to lose my money to try and get it to last longer in the hope of a lucky win to boost my balance. As Afi noted, it has never been to increase volatility.

In fairness, a lot of games are fixed paylines now but if the  option is on the game it seems unfair to not allow a player to use them without being in breach of the t&c's.

Nice to see someone asking for feedback:

Firstly, when SM first came to the UK it was pretty good: you had a casino that, whilst having no loyalty scheme, had a good deal of offers that meant i chose to play with you guys, rather than 'Casino B' - seemed to strike the right balance between a semi biggish casino, but still had enough player focus (unlike Bet365 etc). You also had Ladylucks at the time i think. But then the drop - 100% to 50% etc i think - coupled with the lack of a loyalty

As Fiekie said though, the lag of the site was simply unacceptable though, even with the above. Games should run smoothly - in todays era there's no excuse for laggy online casinos (pretty sure bandwidth costs are not that high.

Again, to copy and paste Fiekie - the withdrawal times were simply all over the place: sometimes 2 hours, but could be 2 days or 7 days (another quibble - when someone asks why the delay, it's really not good form to tell a punter 'staff shortages' - that isn't the customers concern, nor should it be)

Then - SOW - my account is now closed because even though, IIRC, i put through limited deposits (i'd say no more than 2.5k  (possibly lower) over 2 ish years and got asked for it. To put in context: Unibet (30k), Videoslots (25k) and Sky (22k) and some more...nothing. That's a no no for me: there is no justification, regulations or otherwise than warrant that (i asked customer support why 900 of deposits in one year warranted a SOW and they came back with some nonsensical response of 'we have to' - well, no, no you don't - that's just a lazy interpretation of the AML etc (if that was the case every casino i play at now would be breaching the UKGC/AML regulations)So it was bye bye to SM.

Disappointing because, like i said, you had the bones of a really good casino but personally, fell short before it really got started. Most casinos i play at now pay instantly (or within a few hours), have the same games, have high RTP (bar the odd dabble on VS) and i basically (as it's a buyers market) switch around depending on what i can squeeze out of my pound. We know offers/loyalty schemes are not mandated but a lot of the time they are the key factor in deciding whether to deposit in A and not B.

Customer support was always decent for issues - pleasant chaps who resolved issues quickly.

Backward looking i know but as i can't login it's the best i can go 🙂

As for the term mentioned - can't remember their bonus terms but that one about not playing with full lines is nonsense. When i have a bonus i sometimes go for broke and go one line to hit a biggie - casino's have the x35-50x wagering to control the risk/reduce the potential for cash outs from a bonus:if  players want to (and lets face it, most will bust out quickly with one line) take a chance, why shouldn't they?

Sorry to sound like a Unibet shill (i'm playing there now with a bonus) but their terms are 35 wagering,

And that's it: no restricted games, no max bet and certainly no 'limited lines'

And if lucky enough to beat wagering and click w/d it'll be in my paypal instantly - with SM it could be next week (though i think it's speedier now?) - personally think if a players been with a casino x years, good history then w/ds should be automated - really don't see in todays era of the need for 'manual approval' and the staff costs in doing this might outweigh any benefits surely?

I just view terms like that as a 'catch term' to diddle  inexperienced players (yes i know it's in the terms)

HI Charles

Thanks - I received deposit bonuses based on your promotions. I never received a free cash bonus at all, however I have received some free spins now and then - But I had to go and ask support If I could get any.

So example, lets say I deposit 100 euros or 200 euros over a week or 2 week period - I lost all my money

I stay away for a few weeks, normally other casinos would send me an email offering a freebie or some free spins or just a week or few days later send me an email offering me 20 - 50 spins as a depositing player.

I know I am a low roller and do not expect the same treatment as high rollers but casinos should cater for all category rollers.

So to lure us back - How about that free spins to try your newly designed bonus , coupled with a nice deposit bonus?

.

@Unitbet my wager on the 100% is always x25 the bonus amount, i think my ratio to finish wagering with unibet bonuses is in the 80% range.

They get many of my deposits, and since Videoslots opened my account last month, I made over 2k in deposits there alone. I dont know what it is, for some reason I just deposit alot at VS, however most of my activities go to tournaments, although their Loyalty suck, I still like the benefits of the sit n go, Tuesday Madness, Friday Mysteries, Saturday Madness and other free rolls for some extra cash winnings.

Hi @CharlesSM and warm welcome to the AskGamblers Forum. :)

So happy to see an acting Casino CEO getting his hands 'dirty' by taking over the marketing & research part and doing what I believe is the most relevant thing to do and namely - Ask Your Players Directly! No better, more honest, more straightforward and above all, more valuable source of precious info and advice than asking them directly what they like/hate/want. So kudos for doing that, really! :good:

I can see our forum gang has already 'unleashed their feedback fire' :D, but in case you need further assistance, pls don't hesitate to contact me or @cocopop3011, we'll be happy to help asap. :)
