Immortal Romance Meets Mega Moolah!

Recommended Posts

Oh yes!

Microgaming are launching Immortal Romance Mega Moolah at the end of the month! Back in the day these were both two of my absolute favourite MG games that weren't 9-liners so for me, this is an interesting mix indeed.  I've triggered the Moolah jackpot once but only won £9 but this game has always been a big fan of mine.

So, we'll get IM's free spins mixed with Mega Moolah's jackpot. Anyonee else excited for this or has MG done too much damage over the last couple of years with their clones to get excited?

Release date I read is 24th June.

I have not played Either since MG restricted for SA.

I am not sure to be honest, IR is a very good game, but Mega Moolah was boring as well to be honest - I mean watching others playing it - However @Afi4wins had some great wins.

I am wondering how do the Jackpot mix with Free spins? Spin the Jackpot wheel and it decide the amount of free spins and which feature of the 4 IR charcaters? Amber multi with Sarah so 25 spins with 5x?

If you've played IR last year, then you would know just how badly the game has been playing! IR is no longer the IR that we all knew and loved. There's only lots of dead spins and stupid little payouts in between, from the free spins too, ever since the game went HTML5 at the end of 2020. It is no longer playable if you ask me!

Now going Megaways? Like that is gonna revive IR and give it a new lease of life? 99% for sure I can say now it will not and would not!

I think we’ve talked about Megaways too much and it’s gotten to your brain 🤪 This is Mega Moolah Immortal Romance 😂

I might be wrong but I think IM will remain much the same, but with the addition of a jackpot. So the Mega Moolah wheel can appear at any time triggering one of the four jackpots.
Game wise, I think IM will run the same as the original?

If you're saying it will be the same as the OLD original...DEFINITELY NOT! 100% sure it will not be!

If you're saying it will be the same as the HTML5 version...maybe...but with Mega Moolah incorporated, it can only get WORSE!

Sorry though about my confusion on IR going Megaways! 🤣

I've played both ISIS and ISIS Mega Moolah before HTML5...the Moolah version was already playing noticeably bad as compared to the original non-Moolah ISIS.

I mean the HTML5 version. If it was the old version my topic would have been worded very differently 🤣

Immortal Romance was one of the first slots that I played when I started playing online casino. It waa on betway. Had some decent wins and one 400x. But then i just stopped playing it. Not just Immortal romance but microgaming as whole.  Mega moolah I heard legends about it but never tried it as it is restricted by bonus money. But I might try this one even if Raw deposit required. Atleast a few hundred spins.

Their soundtrack is amazing btw.

I think it's defo worth a shot. MG used to be my number one before they started cloning games bit still some of my favourite games belong to them including these two in question so I think this will be an interesting mix!

I also loved the original IR Flash version. I don't think I've pumped as much money into any game as much as that one.

Not sure about this Mega Moolah addition. IR, at least where I play it, has an RTP of 96.86, and standard jp contribution on Mega Moolah games is 5.30%. So unless you are hitting the jackpots, the RTP of just the game part is going to be 91.56, assuming they don't change anything else.

I might try it, but I doubt I'll play the long sessions I did on the original. That number is just too low for me.

The flash version, IMO, was one of the best games MG has ever made.

Seems a bit pointless to be honest: if you want to play IR, you're not really want to go in at 91% so you'd just be playing it for the jackpot, so may as well be bored to tears by MM.

Given MG have reskinned IR with a 94% as well, will be base game now be 89% I dunno.

HTML5, maths re-tinkering, Lower RTP have destroyed the IR game which i loved. A JP version is like being beat to death with the same fish.

Same here: whilst the X wins, compared to now, maybe aren't that great the game 'liked' biggish bets and seen quite a few 600x's on 3 quid, had a 500x on 6 quid once and 14 4 Reel Wild Desires.

The game you see before you now isn't the same and it's not just the clunky gameplay.

Same here with almost identical experience...

Won't lie thou, I still love Immortal Romance and yeah, still dream about hitting that illusive 5-reel Wild Desire. 💵

Don't know about the new IR 'moolah JP version' but if they don't fix that constant connection drop and errors  which happens once per every 300 to 500 spins depending on the casino platform, well, I don't think it will ever reach even 10% of what the original had in terms of player's attraction.

Aaaaaah...those wonderful GOLDEN years of the old Immortal Romance!

I too have never hit those 5 Wild Desire reels, but that's literally an impossible task to get nowadays, in view of what's happening to all the newer games of late.

I have completed lost all my sentiments for IR...have even lost all my sentiments for Supe It Up too...and better make that for Microgaming as well!

Also, the old VIPER is now gone i think on 32Red: think it's still on the go at Casino Rewards?

Sure, it sucked the life out of your PC and you needed to clear those caches often but it was, in hindsight, a great client

Sometimes you look back with rose tints but i think MG/VIPER really was the real deal

Now look at them, it's so depressing: so many great 9 liners gone: the gamblers of today will never really experience how great they were: instead being stuck with some games so HV you need to re-mortgage your house for an hours session. All in the name of progress (or greed, take your pick)

Couldn't agree more!!! Cannot imagine someone building a strong 'gambling face & character' without spending an year (at least!) with the MG Viper client and enjoying all these legends like Immortal Romance, Thunderstruck, Thunderstruck II, Supe It Up, Playboy, etc etc etc... :(

Is there anyone here who is grinding Jackpots. I have made a $200 raw deposit and trying Mega Moolah. Does anyone know in under how many spins u get the wheel Spin?

if you bet big you will get it often, if you bet min stake you will get it in once every few thousands of spins.... but sometimes if you are lucky you can get it early on min stake.

I've only ever gotten the wheel once, 25p stake (OG Mega Moolah) and won £9 lol.

Also don't be lured into thinking that if you bet bigger you're guaranteed to get the wheel! Was playing this game @ £1.25 a spin years ago for thousands of spins and never once for the wheel at that stake.

when I said big I meant max bet cause if you watch sometimes a streamer will play a mega moolah session and they will bet max bet and get it quite often during the session... for example on Mega Moolah Isis

What is max bet on this game? Which of thejackpots were they winning on max bet? Yeah, the paytable even tells you that your chances increase when you raise your stakes.
