  1. Hi! I have a little idea! Lets post here some words known only in gambling world, so we all can learn something from each others. All you have to do is to write one or more words with short explanation beside ( you can write some of the synonyms also) Doesn't have to be some complicated word, but also something like playthrough, withdrawal etc.. or not so famous sort of games (not the happiest explanation, but I hope you understand ) I'll start with a few : Bust - used in BlackJack game, when you get over 21 and lose Pass - To fold, not to bet Full House - used in Poker like a name for a hand which includes one pair and three of a kind Jackpot - used in Casino for big win on a Slot machine Trips - used in Poker, for 3 cards of a kind
  2. Keeping with the Poker theme during our last few blogs - we now have a glossary of all the most used Poker terms, phrases and slang words. The Ultimate Glossary of Poker Terms You Should Know
  3. People who want to know more about Casino Glossary refer the below terms which are important: Banker - In Baccarat, the Banker refers to the hand representing the house. Players can bet on the Banker, the Player or a Tie. Bet – Any form of wager. Bet Max – In Slots, this is the maximum number of credits that a player can bet per spin. Players can select this button (where available) to bet the maximum number of credits. Casino Chips – Casino Chips are used to play qualifying casino games and can be purchased in the Full Tilt Store. Collect – In Slots, the collect button allows players to convert their credits into cash. Deposit – A cash payment, usually made online, to credit a gaming account with funds to play. Doubling Down – An option in blackjack that gives a player the opportunity to double their initial wager, depending on certain rules. After the first two cards are dealt, a player can add an additional wager to their starting bet and receive exactly one extra card with which to improve their hand. Depending on which variant of blackjack is being played, this can be done either with any two first cards or on certain starting totals. Face Card – Cards that feature a 'face', such as jacks, queens and kings.

  8. Hi Rint! Welcome to Askgamblers Forum. The problem with your message above is that it lacks commas and full-stops! Must include them next time for easier reading and comprehending, RInt. Anyway, here's my helping bits for you: Mega Symbol A symbol that occupies more than 1 position on the reels (see Spinata Grande). It can occupy 2, 4, 6, or 9 positions at a time, forming a huge symbol as compared to all other symbols. Level-based Play A game that has many levels of game play (see Aliens), progressing from Level 1, to Level 2, and so on. Shifting Reels A reel that shifts to the right, or to the left, in one direction only, for every new spin (see Robin Hood: Shifting Riches). Every Symbol in reel Self explanatory, referring to each and every symbol on the reel, or reels. Reels Hold A special feature in some games that allow a player to press the 'HOLD' button to stop that particular reel from spinning in the next spin. Can 'HOLD' one reel or many reels at a time, to create chances of more new wins in the next spin. Nudge Feature In some games, a Nudge feature is automatically activated whenever that designated symbol (usually a Free Spin symbol or an Expanding Wild symbol) appear in part or partly (not fully covering the whole reel) anywhere on the reels, to activate its special feature. Cascading Symbols 3 or more symbols that form a win on any payline, will explode, disappear from the reels, and new symbols will drop from above, to fill in the vacated positions (see Gonzo's Quest). Also known as Avalanche, Rolling Reels, or Free Falls. Stacked Symbols A symbol that occupies more than 1 position on that particular reel, can occupy 2 or 3 positions at any one time. This symbol can be any normal symbol, a Free Spin symbol or a Wild symbol, depending on each game. Re-spins A feature in some games whereby a re-spin of non-winning symbols is automatically given, whilst the winning symbols are held in position, to create chances of new wins. Re-spins end when no new winning symbols appear on the reels. Way Wins Way wins refer to the designated number of winning ways in any particular game, which can be 243 ways, 720 ways or 1024 ways. (P.S. Sharon darling, I guess all my explanations above can be included into the Vocabulary / Dictionary / Glossary thread too. )
