  1. They’ve probably got hold of the casino by the ankles, flipped upside down and started to give them a shake to see what cash falls out?
  2. Yeah, it’s always funny that... casinos claim ‘regulations’ etc tell us we must blah blah... u push back, and sometimes they do this. Either they don’t know what they’re talking about or they relax their demands...gee whiz.
  3. I'm no psychologist but I would say probably not. There is a school of thought that says because gambling is a 'mind' addiction, you can train your brain basically so not as to have the same thing happen. I'm not so sure if I'm honest - compulsive gamblers don't care about how much money they're up, it's never enough because all they want to do is play it back. Whether you can overcome that and simply gamble responsibly....i'm sure there are some that have done that but i'd guess they're a small proportion. If you're looking to sort you're debts then try the free charities like Step Change and if in the UK maybe look at Gamstop. If your debts are only 1k then you've not dug yourself too deep, which is a positive.
  4. Incidentally....not sure if it was LeoVegas or Casumo but they got hauled in front of the UKGC for not returning pennies to punters when accounts were closed and it formed part of the reasoning for a nice monetary fine i believe
  5. Yep - the amounts irrelevant here in the main - it's about the casinos attitude/practices. You tend to find that it's a good indicator of how reasonable/fair they'd be when presented with a bigger issue. Which, if the OP's account is correct, not very.
  6. Apparently there's a third setting...91%? If you play at a place with that you may as well just cut the casino the cheque without playing. Casino Heroes, Lucky Dino, Karamba are some of the others with the 94%. As V says, this can change any day and there's no obligation on them to tell you so you really need to check the help file (it's a regulation to include the RTP in this file in the UK, not sure about other places) Playing my PNG's at Stakers and they must have theirs on 200% because I've never seen as many good garga's in a few sessions.
  7. It's weird because the difference between live chat and other methods of casino communication varies. I used to think that some folk on Live Chat then did the email cover etc but sometimes it's like they are totally different companies...or the promo team don't communicate the promo's to support etc.
  8. Not sure about a rep on here but i found emailing them normally sees things resolved more so than CS...they're quite good in that respect: i imagine they'll be credited if you do that. Not the case here, but it does baffle me why sometimes CS ask me to send a screenshot of a promo where i've had similar problems 'Hey, you said I'd spins, i have none'...'can you send the email to us'? er....you sent it.
  9. Logically...any winnings above the cap 'go back' to the casino so in effect the RTP is in real terms possibly lower: if they used 100 quid as the average bet across those billion spins and had a 50k cap then the 96% is looking more like 46 ?
  10. Used to get these when I played there. Clear as day - spins should be in account. No offence to RP but the CS didn’t appear to have a clue about their own promo which is poor.
  11. Just remember that it's all random. The caveat being that it's controlled randomness ?
  12. PS if this is how Moon Princess plays on 94% I'm oota here?
  13. Still not sure about the tax 'reason' as the UK ones don't increase until Oct-19, but regardless, just need to be careful when playing. Some maths kid pointed out that even a 2 % drop leads to half the play time over X amount of spins. I'd imagine the increase regulatory costs are having more of an impact that a 6% hike in tax. Even so, I'm not privy to VS's accounts, but is doing that the best option? I'm not so sure. Not singling out VS here but as a matter of principle it doesn't sit well with me that people go 'give them the lower RTP, the 4 odd % house edge just isn't enough'. Sadly, with reduced bonus offering, a sign of things to come unfortunately. If games providers continue to lower their RTP's you'd be as well going landbased - least you have a good night out and whisky all round.
  14. AFAIK the U.K. rules state that if different RTPs exist for different bet sizes then they must state it (can’t find it on phone) I always thought the capped wins are built into the overall RTP and used as a means of ensuring that the game stays within the bounds of the RTP. I don’t know, now that I think about it ?
  15. The Art of War that it references is a great read. The world is run by a cabal of powerful people, influencing world affairs and creating the enemy it needs to control the proletariat... probably not far off the truth ? oh someone get my Freemason badge ?
  16. Seemingly on the news section: didn't get the email so never even saw. That's VS/Casino heroes that i know of. IGT (a horrible provider IMO) offer 3 i think: all the way down to 92 %.
  17. Ones VS...One's Redbet's....bottom left. Always check the help file of PNG's and the others that produce different RTP's for casinos to 'buy' - Netent etc only offer 1. For now.
  18. You’re gonna have to once they confirm ? Start calling you doubting Thomas ?
  19. Excuse me whilst I go off and try and get Garga on VS ? 3000 spins later... nothing new then ?
  20. There is no doubt, sorry ? Check the help file of PNG games on VS and Casino Heroes and you’ll see the 94. Go to Redbet for example and you’ll see the 96 ? (for U.K. at least) Pragmatic play and Red Tiger also offer the reduced RTPs. Basically, if it’s in a taxed jurisdiction like U.K. and Germany you’re getting the lower ones and if not, they’ll keep the 96. Gee, thanks! Times must be tough....
  21. Sorry, should have been clearer: they didn’t lower themselves, they’re now hosting the lower RTP version that PNG offer them.... MG for example don’t offer this. I envisage the RTPs to average 94 in the not so distant future.
  22. Some providers offer casinos different RTPs - PNG are one of them ( some others like Pragmatic I think give casinos the option of higher and lower)PNg have the 96 and 94: most casinos take the highest. VS always took the highest... not anymore ? Dont get me wrong as more tax creeps in we will see this happen more and more but still...
  23. Maybe, maybe not.... I see Videoslots have decided to lower the RTP of the PNG games from the 96%-94%. Not for everyone....Now coming from a casino that once prided itself of offering the maximum RTP's to it's players this is a significant departure. Despite what people say, even a few % of RTP matters. The above is exactly why i stopped playing at Casino Heroes. Out of principle i think it's a slap in the face when a casino says 'hey, we get options for the RTP of games, we'll give these suckers the lower ones' Seemingly it's due to the higher tax in some countries, of which the UK is one (and nothing to do with their 1 million fine in nov-18 ?) Not cool but not surprising given their recent changes over the last 6 months.
  24. I imagine it would be to stay....purely due to seeing the negligence, cowardice and arrogance of the political parties. Most likely won't happen - peoples political careers would be dead and buried. Not that they're looking like they have much integrity as it stands. My own personal view is that it should never have been called in the first place but Cameron saw it as a way of tidying up his own party. Plus, he thought it would fail and finally silence the Euroskeptics in the Tory party. That turned out well.
