Yeah, it's a good point and one I've said a few times - you get a guy coming to your door to sell stuff, you pass someone at the supermarket asking for bank details to 'give to sick kids', we're programmed to balk at the idea...but with casino's we're expected, no, TOLD (via the UKGC's regulations etc), that we essentially have to hand over ID/Address/Bank details to a company that, due to most of them being based abroad, we have very little knowledge of and hope? they handle it properly. Need to check when I've time but can't remember seeing minimum security accreditations being mentioned in licensing conditions other than 'adhere to data protection laws'

If I’d to pick from the list of the ones I can play at: New; Wish Maker Casino; Energy Slot; DOA2; you can’t ignore those massive wins Provider; Push If is my own choice; New; none as not really signed up to any Casino; Novibet but, though no longer play there, Redbet or Casumo Slot; Temple Tumbles Provider; mix between Push and Relax This years been very disappointing; hoping No Limit and some others continue to make inroads at the big boys

Stakers hopefully. Only right that their paid flying monkey’s are rewarded for all their hard work.

Not saying this is the case here but Guts (GIG Group) asked me (and others) to re-verify a few years ago - why? When i asked them the old line of 'We need to do this periodically' was trotted out. They switched platform systems at the time apparently and i don't think you need to be a genius to surmise that data was lost in the migration possibly. A person i know, call him deep throat, is adamant that their systems were (being diplomatic) 'compromised' which would tie into how some unique email addressed (only to that casino), suddenly made themselves onto various spam sites. Just anecdotal and nothing to say this was the case here. In terms of protection - they're as bound by Data Protection Law as my company or yours. I'm not sure if there is an agreed upon security standard across casinos (other than things like PCI compliance) - you do see some state they are ISO27K accredited etc but they are mandated to report breaches should there be one under GDPR. Curacao or no Curacao. Videoslots are a casino that will ask you to re-verify when your ID expires.

Happy New Year - Here’s to 2020

No doubt BTG will start putting 17000x Bonanza winners at the start of their games then only for people to find out, given their previous liberties, that it’s fake. The last thing Netent games need are adverts; my poor MacBooks fan can’t take their pointless animations at the start, at the best of times. 4% house edges are obviously not good enough... Oh, and check out NE’s Megaways: Piggy Riches Here we go: Starburst Megaways -
Bear in mind that bonus's are entirely discretionary and they can simply allow you to play without any - they really aren't all that. Esp from Betsson. If you want to tart yourself for some bonus's there are loads of sites for sign up's etc but the more you ask them the more likely you are to be cut off completely. Personally i don't think it's worth the fuss.

Speaking of all this...wondered why i couldn't log in to my Novibet yesterday.... Seriously? I didn't answer a withheld number and you timed me out for RG purposes? Sledgehammers and nuts
-
There you go - tell them they're breaching the Equality Act
-
Not just casinos https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-46137624
-
Last point - they have an obligation to 'interact' with the customer re RG so if they do have concerns etc they should actively be talking to you and allowing you the chance to respond etc
-
Probably falls under 'other' - either way, you can show where the funds are coming from so IMO that goes a way to discharging their AML obligations. I just think, for RG reasons etc in their head, they've decided they don't folk just on benefits. Sounds harsh but i imagine that's it.
-
Even gifting... But this is where AML and RG blurs - the above may be fine for AML compliance but could raise additional questions regarding RG - it does get a bit tawdry - lawyers dream.
-
-
You have the right to complain but not sure what grounds you'd have tbh pal. You could ask for clarification as to how they've processed your information - for RG or AML and, if applicable, say you supplied information for AML and they've used it for RG purposes which, strictly, may breach GDPR
-
Credit checks (soft) on new sign up's are probably on the agenda
-
They shouldn't - if you look at the SOW/SOF etc it covers things like money from inheritance/house sales etc - not just 'regular' income. Bit like me getting told because i earn 10k a year (for example) i can't afford 10k a month deposits and then for me to say 'But i won the Mega Moolah Jackpot'
-
As for compensation - if i earned 20k a year and was depositing 2k a week? If i showed them the 20k a year but said 'My aunt gave me 800k in her will', that should cover them in terms of their AML responsibilities because they know where the money's coming from, so a comp payment should be the same: in that respect the salary (in the above example) or the benefits (in yours) becomes wholly irrelevant to an extent. What your're probably finding is that they've requested the SOW for AML but are now using it for RG and that's a bit of a no-no if they're processing that information. You're maybe overthinking the SOW - if you're depositing low-ish amounts you shouldn't really get hit by it in the bulk of cases.
-
Providing you're not engaged in any illegal activities you'll always be able to keep your legitimate winnings - they can't hold your cash to ransom just cos they don't like the look of the benefits...But they do have the right to not to want to do business with you. Here's an example of mine: Slotmillion - asked for SOW, deposits in 2-3 years totalling 1-2k. Mental. Stakers - 500 quid in deposits, ish. Asked for SOW Redbet - 40k in deposits in 1.5 years. No SOW Casumo - 70k in 3 years. No SOW So....depends. I could earn 20k per month but due to credit commitments have 500 quid a month spare, which would mean my 1k per week deposits are unsustainable.

What was your favourite and worst game of 2019?

Will probably be sooner than the end of 2020 i imagine as they'll be looking at the phase out well before the end i think.... Good luck in replicating the flash - Netent have done a better job than MG, whose conversions have been lazy to say the least.... Maybe the new folk they're working with will do a better job -

For worst I may plunk with Monopoly MW; some of the most scripted nonsense I’ve played. Close to legalised robbery as you’ll get. -
They got fat, lazy and bloated but TBH I don’t blame them; people will spin anything

DOA2 for the biggest wins outside of progressives but a lottery slot that's not v enjoyable unless hitting those 20kx plus's -
With IR this is the worst HTML5 conversion IMO - laggy, clunky, tell tale giveaways of if bonus will drop....real shame to a once great game
