  1. I was about to say lol.... "winning big" and "NetEnt" usually should be taken with a grain of salt apart from a few exceptions (DOA, Reel Steal, etc.) Those type of bets are irresponsible though. I don't care how much they got on their bank account, as a bad session with a low RTP could easily cause a loss of above 100K. I guess we as gamblers need to push the bets higher and higher to feel the adrenaline as some of you guys have mentioned.
  2. I can't say I never asked for a goodwill bonus. I did so in the past at 32Red, Redbet and Unibet I believe. I'd say 32Red was the most generous when it comes to rewarding loyalty. Also received a tenner from Redbet a few times, which isn't much compared to the deposits made although of course better than nothing. Just hate the fact they got 40x wagering and the max win is 100 euros. Worst experience was with Unibet, who don't seem to understand what the word loyalty means. Got myself into a discussion of around 10 minutes with the chat guy that I wasn't asking for a deposit bonus but a free bonus. Kept hearing policy, policy that or whatever... That's when I had enough knowing the convo wasn't getting anywhere, as I don't find any pleasure in getting humiliated when asking for a bonus lol. So bottom line is I rarely do, if I lose a lot I just take it on the chin and keep on moving.
  3. I have to share my experience with bingo. I never was a fan of bingo and never really had any interest in playing at online casinos either. They have so many bingo variations and I don't even understand all rules as simple they might be. Few months ago I received a 10 euro free bonus to try out the new bingo at Unibet and I was actually amazed how fun it was. Managed to win around 250 euros with it before losing it all on TwinSpin. I still don't completely understand how it all works lol, but it definitely was a fun experience which I should try more often.
  4. Although I can relate to wanting to reach a certain minimum, I don't the strategy is ideal at all to be honest. I often try to reach 1,000 euros to make a cash out and often fail doing that, I could use other currencies to make it more easy but keep playing in euros. Keep in mind that you would be losing money on two occasions without even having to play. You pay forex fees to exchange Canadian dollars to Euro (3%) before taking a shot, and once you get lucky and withdraw and want to exchange again from Euro to Canadian dollars you'll lose another (3%). That's almost 6% which is too much if we already are battling the advantage casinos have in most games.
  5. Excellent analysis, Valdes! Although it definitely would be nice to have such information beforehand, I can imagine it's a lot of work and would also like to raise the player's own responsibility to make sure to read the terms. You almost have to be some kind of lawyer to go comb through the fine prints. Nevertheless of course it's nice if reviews can have a link attached to such in-depth analysis of the terms. Besides some of the ridiculous terms mentioned I also think the wording of the terms is very poor. Almost sound like it has been copied and pasted from another casino, or that the same template has been used for multiple casinos. "The Internet Site", "The Company" <<--- surely it can't be tons of work to replace those words by the actual site and the company name behind it.
  6. I definitely would accept the challenge @ 18 euro bets on DOA lol. But usually nothing happens when betting huge, just a way of losing my money quickly.
  7. I don't play 15-lines version that much, but my recent experiences with the 243-ways-to-win version have been absolutely disastrous. It even got to the point it don't really matter what feature I picked, you'd think with huge multipliers in place a win of more than 10x bet is the least the slot should do. And what Valdes said is pretty much correct, seems to be normal to not getting to hit a feature for 750+ spins consecutively. Maybe it's a dry spell, but the game is seriously scaring me lately with near misses that "could have" been monster hits quite often. But of course we all know that counts for nothing in the world of gambling lol.
  8. If it's no longer fun I would just take a temporarily break. Been having the same sort of with TwinSpin not awarding a full screen in over 15,000 spins. Got to the point that I would no longer deposit to play NetEnt games. It's simply not fun when you don't have a chance, gambling is supposed to be entertaining after all.
  9. Lol forget about strategy if every feature refuses to pay more than 10x bet. It's lady luck after all and a matter of respecting your bankroll by not making too many crazy bets so you do actually have the chance to win.
  10. I think AskGamblers does a pretty good job right now already when it comes to the casino reviews with all relevant information presented in a simple overview. And below that information we can of course gather player comments and get a more detailed view of the casino in question. The only thing I can think of is indeed the bonus terms. We all know many disputes happen over those, and it would always be nice if some little tricky terms get highlighted in advance. Other than that the reviews are great in my opinion.
  11. You bet I would! I can totally imagine myself betting 100 euros per spin then and making 2K sports bets and losing it all eventually haha. Like Sharon noted, 50K is a nice amount but not life changing money. Though of course it's still wise to invest the majority in nice things so you can actually enjoy it. Would I still play if it was a million? Probably not, what's there to play for when you've reached that? To me it sounds like you have more to lose at that point than to gain. I would probably call it a day on gambling all together if I got that lucky.
  12. I must say I'm guilty unfortunately. But it's never my intention to reverse a withdrawal when I request one. When I withdraw, I made my decision, I want my money and not to keep on playing. It usually gets caused by getting annoyed by the casino for having to wait too long. And that's the main reason why many casinos still enforce these pending periods to prey on the "weak" so to speak. But on the upside, some of my greatest wins ironically came from reversing a withdrawal. But obviously you can't keep on reversing and playing, gotta know when to stop or it will end up in misery . Which is never a nice feeling, but I'm sure many can relate to that.
  13. Holy ***** @ Rainie and to some degree @ Zeus. Congratulations! Great wins guys, glad DOA is paying off after all that torture it puts many of us AskGamblers members through It shows that lowrolling on DOA can really yield to fantastic results
  14. I thought it was all about the beats and melodies these days, nevermind the lyrics Too many goofy songs without substance have sold millions
  15. I can definitely relate to that. Feels good playing table games in a brick & mortar casino. I haven't made a visit to one in almost 2 years now, while I used to be a regular going in almost weekly playing table games mostly including texas hold'em. Online play pretty much has taken over regarding my gambling. The barrier to play online is so much smaller. I can just deposit a small amount and see where I end without having to put on some fancy clothing to look decent haha. I never feel comfortable going into a Brick & Mortar casino with just a couple hundred euros on me. Would have to take at least 500 euros to play and even then I could be standing outside within 30 minutes as minimum blackjack bets are 10/20 euros and roulette at 1-2 euros for each chip. But I got to admit I miss the feeling. Should definitely head back some day
  16. They happen, Valdes! You're the living proof of it haha. I personally don't really believe in them, I just want to get rid of the money as soon as possible when I just have a couple euros/cents left
  17. Damn bro! That's a serious amount of money. Glad you learned your lesson though, I hate it when casinos kind of hold you "hostage". Therefore, I always pick casinos with a quick payout record. Regarding my biggest mistakes in gambling, lol, there are too many haha I messed up 3K after a 100 euro deposit in April I believe. Luckily few weeks later April/May was a top month or I would still be mad about it
  18. I think I can relate to both point of views from a player perspective and the operator's perspective. I personally don't like playing the RNG version of table games too much because they don't play like the real game in Brick & Mortar casinos. Maybe because it's a bit fast paced and streaky, and there are way more cards dealt in an hour time compared to live play? However, I never really could shake of feeling a bit "robbed" after a session of RNG blackjack. I also never felt comfortable with premium hands of 19-20 vs 5-6 of the dealer, while doubling up with 10-11 vs. 5-6 wasn't a done deal either. I'm sure the RTP will make sense after millions of hands and definitely wouldn't call it rigged, but personally I think the software providers should have done a better job in creating more realistic table games. As for the OP, it's plain simple; if you believe the game is rigged, then don't play the game! I wouldn't bother spending countless amounts of money in order to prove a statistic inconsistency. Not worth it! Go with with live blackjack which is much more fun, slower, and interactive. You'll feel much more relaxed and confident.
  19. Brilliant comeback, Valdes! Love to read such stories, really shows it's not over until the last penny has been wagered Glad to see so many people winning on GoT lately, congratulations!
  20. The top-10 is all nice and all, and I'm sure my top-10 would be quite similar to some others.... But what about the top-10 worst slots ever made? Is there are a thread alive for this as well? My top-10 Best of 2015: 1. Immortal Romance 2. Gonzo's Quest 3. Game of Thrones 4. Playboy 5. Dead or Alive 6. Egyptian Heroes 7. Arcader 8. The Wish Master 9. Reel Steal 10. Agent Jane Blonde
  21. Wow, what a dream hit Afi! Congratulations, gotta love GoT when it pays! Especially during the 5x multiplier Baratheon feature.
  22. It happens guys! I mean what is the "right" time to make a withdrawal? If there is anything like that all... You won't be able to win big without taking risks. On the other hand these risks, as the word implies, can cripple your bankroll and make you lose a big win, which results in feeling terrible for a good minute. So yeah I think these situations are just an integral part of gambling, of which some people are able to manage them better than others. I'd say go with your gut feeling and go for that withdrawal when you think it's enough now before turning too greedy.
  23. I agree with you on that one. There is no way NetEnt would ever remove DOA. If there is a game that had so much free publicity, then its DOA with all them screenshots filling up each forum. Let's face it, winning one of the larger jackpots is pretty much a utopia. That leaves us with slots with large payouts and DOA fits that profile, and that's why it's so loved and hated due to its high variance nature.
