  2. I can't say I really care about the slots theme, but Egyptian and Roman themes do seem most popular among the software developers. The paytable and potential a game is much more important in my opinion. I'll play anything as long it can award a monster on a good day
  3. I think raptordinos meant casinos that will happily accept your deposits, but once it comes to the point you want to cash out a substantial some of money they will try to come with countless excuses/reasons to stall to not do so. More a matter of rogue casinos since he's referring to the blacklist, and hasn't much to do with problem gambling itself IMO. Although they probably wouldn't care about any addicts either. But you're right when you say the casino has the right to block access if players are 'too successful' and a 'threat' to their business in their eyes. They like winners as long it's based on luck, but if they see you as a AP (Advantage Player) who consistently manages to beat the odds with the help of bonuses it's not uncommon for them to block access. Not saying Afi is an AP but they probably got tired of him winning lol. I would rather perceive that as a compliment, but luckily there are plenty of other places that would be begging for his business. At least they did the right thing as in always paying him out and not enforcing some predatory rule to keep his winnings. Same goes for players that are able to exploit any malfunction/leaks in games btw (yes, they do exist), casinos will not wait until they are put out of business. They will apply a strong pro active stance to exclude anyone who has 'suspect' win rates over a prolonged period of time to protect their casino. This goes for online casino's as well as land based casinos. We just hardly ever hear about them because most of us lose on the long term as the odds/RTP dictate.
  4. Oh btw before I forget. During my reviews I noticed a couple errors on AskGambler's part. http://www.askgamblers.com/video-slots/crime-scene-wms-williams-interactive-game-review/ <<< This game is not called 'Crime Scene' but 'Crime Pays'. http://www.askgamblers.com/video-slots/krones-wms-williams-interactive-game-review/ <<<< This game is not called 'Krones' but 'Kronos'. Perhaps that one of the admins can change that without deleting my reviews of course lol Since I'm assuming the URLs have to be modified as well for SEO reasons amongst others.
  5. Wow just scrolled up and back a few pages and I'm truly shocked a bit. Would have never thought things could get so hostile here. I believe Valdes is a honest, fair and stand up guy and he makes a valid point in my opinion. It's no obligation to participate but if you do then adhere to the rules, seems like common sense. It's not even an unreasonable request so I don't really get the complaints. Anyway, enough about the negativity. I'm happy with the opportunity to raise funds this way for my gambling budget besides the money I invest on my own and hope the contest won't disappear in the future. I have 10 reviews so far this month and hopefully lots more the coming weeks until work calls again: Crime Pays http://www.askgamblers.com/video-slots/crime-scene-wms-williams-interactive-game-review/#review-550d87267528f7d1188b4569 Steam Tower http://www.askgamblers.com/video-slots/steam-tower-netent-game-review/#review-550d984f7528f7ab1c8b4567 Elvis the King Lives http://www.askgamblers.com/video-slots/elvis-the-king-lives-wms-williams-interactive-game-review/#review-550db4837528f7211e8b4569 Nemo’s Voyage http://www.askgamblers.com/video-slots/nemo-s-voyage-wms-williams-interactive-game-review/#review-550de8347528f7f76b8b456b Hit2Split http://www.askgamblers.com/video-slots/hit-2-split-netent-game-review/#review-550df64c7528f7d26c8b456a Dallas http://www.askgamblers.com/video-slots/dallas-netent-game-review/#review-550e08967528f70c6d8b456d Kronos http://www.askgamblers.com/video-slots/krones-wms-williams-interactive-game-review/#review-550e160f7528f75e3d8b456c Glitz http://www.askgamblers.com/video-slots/glitz-wms-williams-interactive-game-review/#review-550e22477528f7956f8b4574 Golden Princess http://www.askgamblers.com/video-slots/golden-princess-microgaming-game-review/#review-550e307f7528f7663d8b456c Buffalo Spirit http://www.askgamblers.com/video-slots/buffalo-spirit-wms-williams-interactive-game-review/#review-550e439e7528f7533e8b456b
  6. Speaking from my own experiences, for me it's time to change when a casino no longer seems to value your business or when you simply can't seem to catch your break. If a casino keeps appreciating loyal players less and less with smaller bonuses each time, then there is a reasonable chance that I will turn my back at that casino. But also a nasty live chat can lead to that. If you don't feel appreciated, it's quite simple! Move on to the next casino as there is plenty of choice.
  7. And that's where you hit the nail on the head @ inefficient and poorly trained. There are still too many casinos around that outsource their customer support as if its a less important detail. This often leads to misunderstandings and sometimes they don't even know what they're talking about lol. Telling a customer a bonus with extremely high WR is easily beatable or RTP figures that don't make sense. Only very few casinos do exceed my expectations when it comes to live chat. I would vote for 32Red when it comes to that.
  8. This is a very interesting point you raised. I know online casinos have their security systems in place to monitor players' playing patterns or to detect whether a player betted more than the WR allows. Most of these systems are designed to protect the casinos. Do casinos pro-actively try to detect and help problematic gamblers? You could argue that they offer deposit limits, self-exclusion and some additional measures for the players to reduce their play, but I never heard of an online casino telling a player to stop playing because he lost or deposited too much. It's clearly a conflict in interest and it will hurt their revenue to tell a player to do so. And besides, online casinos are not aware of the financial situation of the player in question. Maybe it's a problem gambler or maybe the player got just a lot of money to spend? So bottom line is I truly believe the player is very much on his own when it comes to controlling his gambling behaviour online as long it remains an unregulated sector. At land-based casinos it's a different story. There I actually have seen people getting approached by the pitboss to have a talk. The only way to closely monitor this is to have regulated environment with a national database where every deposit gets tracked. In Holland they plan to do this once the market gets regulated. Problematic gamblers will be placed on some type of blacklist, which means they won't be able to access any other online casino while they on it. Not sure how it all will work eventually, but I think those measures are the right way to go forward.
  9. Well, Valdes I would only play that high after having gained a significant profit first of course. I obviously can't afford betting that high with a fresh deposit lol. Or I would be broke in no time. I turned 100 euro into 3K only last month thanks to playing 100 euro spins on roulette and 200 euro blackjack hands. Eventually messed it all up of course since big bets = big risk. Could have cashed out, but I could have also cashed out when having just 200 euro profit if you get what I mean. By taking risks you enable to go broke quicker or reach bigger wins. I guess I'm exactly definition of a gambler because I can just as easily play min bets of 0.09 on DOA 24 hours later As far slots go.. the biggest bets I placed was just 50 euros on Starburst for only a few spins. I don't have the courage to play big on slots, because roulette and blackjack are almost 50/50 odds and slots can eat everything up during a dry patch.
  10. How about reasons to NOT speak to live chat? It might sound a bit weird, but don't you guys hate it when the rep actually tries to sell you something without you asking for it? Like trying to force a deposit bonus through your throat. I really can't stand that type of behaviour when the question has nothing to do with a deposit. Especially when it's a weak offer with WR that are ridiculously high.
  11. There must be at least a couple new NetEnt casinos every month offering 100% bonuses, while existing casinos might offer reload bonuses of 100% or 50% like sensen says. I guess the guy is doing pretty good otherwise it would be impossible to keep that playing pattern up. Fact that some casinos reduced the WR percentage of DOA to 80% or lower shows that it can be a very profitable game when it hits and that it scares casinos. And that's exactly the problem. The hits don't seem to come to everyone as frequently despite putting in some serious volume.
  12. I agree with some of you. I find it remarkable that the guy in question has 130+ hits of wildlines and who knows how many times 5 scatters. Just managed to hit a wildline and 5 scatters once in around 1350 features. Very rarely (maybe 3-4x) I've won around 300-500x betsize but mostly it's just trash with under 20x bets as wins and lately I can't even exceed 5-10x bet. It's one big joke! Maybe it's because I keep playing the game as the same casinos idk. The formula that that guy seems to follow is keep playing at a different casino with a bonus. Haven't actually experimented myself with it. But I don't believe it will happen for me.
  13. I hate all table games equally. Just kiddin, I voted for roulette... Why you might ask? Well roulette is one of the very few games that can actually give you a killer win after a single spin, while with card games such as blackjack it can take an eternity and you really would need the doubles to go well and hit BJ's regularly to increase your bankroll significantly. There is however also a downside to roulette. Especially with online roulette with live dealers, it's so easy to keep clicking the repeat and double button that before you know you'll be betting 100 euros a spin. I've had plenty of sessions where I would lose 1,000 euros in no time when hitting 10x nothing in a row. Although I also had sessions winning 1500-1800 euros on a single spin. So of course it goes both ways, but roulette is definitely dangerous if not played with discipline. I also do not like the fact that the online roulette games with live dealers from Evolution Gaming do not offer the possibility to lower a particular bet on a specific number while keeping all other bets on other numbers intact when repeating your bet. So if you want to lower your bet and you play on many numbers, then you simply don't have sufficient time before the dealer spins again in 15 seconds. And you'll hate it when the dealer actually spins your number when you don't have it covered due to a lack of time lol I'm no stranger to any of them card games though. Played roulette, baccarat and blackjack the most though for about 10 years in land-based casinos as well as online casinos.
  14. I always do my research when signing up at a new casino. But having a chat with the customer service representative isn't necessarily a must for me. Only when I require additional information about a bonus or WR, then I might proceed to actually contact them. Other than that I just continue playing until I actually need something.
  15. Hi guys Haven't had much time to play lately, let alone to discuss it. Do have some screenshots I saved though from previous sessions. Almost the perfect Arcader hit, too bad the multiplier is only in effect when getting four or five bonus symbols. Nevertheless, that game is extremely addicting and enjoyable Arcader - 220x bet Immortal Romance - 230x bet Egyptian Heroes - 200x bet Gonzo's Quest - 128x bet
  16. Ooh I have read that already Valdes. I actually spend a lot of time reading complaints. For some reason I find them very interesting to see what unethical tactics some casinos employ to stall. I can only commend you guys for this great work and recovering 2.7 million in total. That equals a Mega Fortune jackpot
  17. My first five reviews for this month. Lucky Firecracker http://www.askgamblers.com/video-slots/lucky-firecracker-microgaming-game-review/#review-54d901317528f7a8648b4578 Cricket Star http://www.askgamblers.com/video-slots/cricket-star-microgaming-game-review/#review-54d9363e7528f7830c8b4576 Golden Era http://www.askgamblers.com/video-slots/golden-era-microgaming-game-review/#review-54e293a97528f72d018b4569 5 Knights http://www.askgamblers.com/video-slots/5-knights-nextgen-gaming-game-review/#review-54e2a1ea7528f76a7f8b456d Slots Angels http://www.askgamblers.com/game/slots/slots-angels-g4155#review-54e2b7467528f7ea0a8b4568
  18. Lol you have a lot of patience my friend. Usually if they can't get me what I want within 5 minutes, then I'm gone! It also shows bad practice if there are three customer service employees necessary to get things sorted usually. Reading from the reviews about Cosmik Casino (and the amount of stressed they seem to have caused some players in the past) and the fact I can't stand Fruitzen, I think I'll have to pass on this one despite it actually being a good offer (45 WR and 250 max cash out for a NDB isn't too bad).
  19. I second that! Just checked my review and I gave it a 4/10 rating. An extremely boring game that I definitely won't play again
  20. Chea low rolling is so much more fun than playing 6 euros per spin Games actually tend to pay then.
  21. Congratulations guys! Very happy to read that AskGamblers took down the much deserved award. It always saddens me a lot when I'm going through those horrific complaint stories from crooked casinos. I think the dispute resolution process you guys have in place here really comes in handy for players in order to get their legitimate winnings. The makeover of the website eventually also made everything more player-friendly.
