Is there anybody here willing to start his or her own online casino?

Recommended Posts

Hey there!

I am a representative of the company, that is engaged in making online casinos absolutely legally, so we decided to make a poll here to understand how many people naturally consider online casinos to start up. Please write here down what's your opinion about an online casino and please describe your most favourite one.

By the way, if anybody needs any details, contact me via PM

Play reasonably and be gamble aware :)

What’s the remit/objective of the research cos not quite clear on that from your post.

We are working with the markets, where online casinos operation is legal. It all implicates requirement of the license, implementation of official gambling content that is certified and payment solution integration.

Which means what in English?

Not being rude but less jargon, more plain chit chat.

are you offering a platform for me to set up a casino?

Sir, I don't offer anything to anybody here :)
I've just asked about your favourite casinos and I wanted to know if anybody would consider an online casino to start one day .

If you have any specified questions related to an online casino development, please write me in PM to get more detailed information, cause I don't want to parade here everything in public and to be accused of spam or something. I don't have such intentions.

Fair enough: I'll attempt to be succinct, for UK

The very basics for an online casino are:

 - Withdrawals; 24 hrs or less but bear in mind many competitors are within the hour

 - Game Selection - punters don't want to go between 3 sites to get all their games. For slots its basically a minimum of Netent, PNG,BTG, Quickspin, Red Tiger, Merkur for me. Novomatic as well but sometimes they're not available in many mainstream ones.

 - Licence - no Costa Rica nonsense

-Decent Chat Support - possibly need to outsource if new, 24hr key especially if across different countries

 - Well Funded - problem with White labels is that this isn't normally the case; William Hill just posted a 63 million loss; even the big boys struggle. Hard to verify this as most accounts aren't easily available if non UK. Why's important? Because if i win a large amount I want to make sure I am paid.  Uk has segregation of funds but unless it's the top one, it's pretty much useless.

Would I set one up? I wouldn't even think about it, even if I could - the market is at saturation point, particularly in the UK. Greater choice, increase costs of regulation, increased financial risk of fines etc, mean that setting up an online casino isn't an attractive prospect IMHO. You need a good bit of money behind you and it's extremely risky. Want all those providers to compete? Well that's going to cost you money. Increased taxes, taxes on bonus money etc. That's even before we go into the costs of storing all that data. It's outlay, after outlay.

Most casinos are neck and neck when it comes to a lot of the above - to get me to depo my 100 in their casino they need to give me a reason. So again, you're going to be out cash to develop a good loyalty scheme, whilst trying to avoid being accused to 'irresponsible gambling'

In the UK we have a regulator who are increasingly showing their 'Save the Children' complex. Casinos are legging it from here so absolutely mental to try and set up one here IMHO.
