Hej!
I'm not looking for sympathy but tell how it looks. I'm addicted to gambling and really lost everything. Health. The girl. Friends. Family everything. I have managed to get away from the game sometimes but it always comes back and destroys.

Little funny facts.
Had $ 80K debt. Wins on slots so that I can pay off everything plus have a ***** sum over. Life is on top.
It takes 3 months until I lose everything again except 10K $. Anxiety of course
Starts with shares and it goes well. Was on sick leave so instead of going back to work I lived on it for about 2 years. Had $ 3-400 maybe.
Had been away from games very long. There was not even in my mind until one day. I would just play for 5k $ of course. Start going to ***** with chasing losses. At the same time as I lose focus on the shares and take higher risks.
Ends with Disaster. Moves home to parents. Girl away after 5 years and lives on the minimum of existence. If it does not go further down, it feels like. So many bridges I burned because of my ***** gambling.

I have deposited at the casino $ 300K for a fairly short period. When yes played and the money is over, I get crazy and ripped off the chat and my VIP manager after bonuses, previous cashback and been sick manic. Didn't think about it then but when I read the logs, one sees that I am absolutely ***** crazy.

Slowly, I put in quite a bit of money in the short period. Then they wanted to check where the money came from. I showed that I did not work for 2 years. Then also a $ 80k loan agreement they approved. Only there it feels as if someone might have reacted if you borrow money to play and you do not work.

I NEVER SAID IM A ADDICT. But it does take anyone. They should be trained to see patterns. I have had 3 different managers and no one has pointed out anything. Been offered travel, ipad etc.

BUT I would get a new manager when one had stopped. So had someone from another country. I played and the money ran out haha. Wrote as usual and excited but he is the only person who actually reacted to me.

"Hi ,
There are new rules that have come in which mean we have to look out for our players safety and make sure they are in control of their time and spending.
When you come into chat demanding Cashback early - especially when it is tiny amounts this causes concern for myself and members of the Responsible Gambling Team.
If you can stick with the rules then the concern reduces but if not and you maintain this behaviour we may need to consider taking you out of Loyalty for your own safety.
You are the only player (out of 56) that has come into chat with this frequency and making demands.
I will continue to monitor your account and hand over this information in 2 weeks to the new Swedish Manager and they can make a decision on how best to continue with your account.  And let me assure you - you have been very well looked after by us. I have not seen numbers like yours for a while.
Like I said before - you will have a new manager by the end of the day today. I will let you set up your relationship with him.
No other Swedish player (some of which have spent nearly 3 times as much as you) have received the setup and attention you have so please don’t think you have had a bad run with us. But basic rules of engagement have to be set.
Hope that clarifies things for you"

.
***** was ***** long text sorry. I wonder if you think I have any chance of claiming back money due to gaming abuse. So the behavior at loss and the sums I put in are completely sick. I think more about it now that I have been away from the ***** for a while that is horrible. How they play one's friend and everything just for playing more.
I have already lost my life and everything that mattered. But they should have been able to stop this earlier or do it to someone else who is on the verge of doing so

I have not even thought of the idea that something like this was even worth trying.

But have seen several cases where people have received money back and are actually shocked. But good as a fan for those who succeed.

When you are out of the bubble and who now read my chat logs. I have hardly wanted to watch them as I am like a monster. Reminds of a junkie who does everything to get his fix.

Haha chat says no time and time again and I just run on. Mail VIP and get no but send 5 mail to.

Gets happy as a fan when you got an ipad in Christmas gift. I thanked him for saving my life. I was not thinking then that I wasted 10 ipads the same month.

Don't want to hope too much but I know how I am. If only I would get a% back, it would have helped me so much to keep coming back.

For the life I live now is like I'm already dead. Hadn't my Mom still been here . I probarly would kill my self. But i cant do that to her.

By the sounds of it your energy would be best placed to getting the help to to kick this, rather than pursue for RG issues. I have my own views on this but i don't think it would be beneficial to run through given the information above. Even if you were given the money back it would simply exacerbate the issue - high chance the money would simply go back into a/the casino, making the issue x2 as bad as it is now and the race to the bottom would continue.

Make an appointment with Gamblers Anon, Self-Exclude where you can, download Netnanny/Bet Blocker, hand over your financial affairs to someone else, make an appointment with a doctor.

You need to de-programme your brain from gambling - all those neural pathways are firing everywhere when you gamble (=loss=self loathing=anxiety=depression) Your brain is convincing itself that getting the money back will make you happy as the debt will be wiped out - it won't, that's just the addiction trying to find a way to stay alive: you need to smother and strangle it, not give it food and water.

If your're having those thoughts you really need to see the doctor and any other support groups out there - but you need to put any ideas of claiming money out your head before you do so as that's just keeping the addiction flame flickering.

Best of Luck - I truly believe Gambling Addiction is up there with substance abuse in terms of the carnage it can wreck.

Hello there and welcome to AskGamblers.

In addition to what Mr PinniT has already advised, I would strongly encourage you to read this particular guide and consider immediate actions.

More about problem gambling here

There's only one way to get out of the mess called problem gambling and it's to cut out of your life every single tiny detail or thing that could potentially have any connection with gambling. Chasing refunds at this particular stage, when you are obviously still so vulnerable, is just a sure recipe for more of the same nightmare you've been going through.

Hi Steve,

I will contact you regarding your complaint we received on September 9, where you told us about your gambling problems and requested a refund of some of the money you have spent on our site.

Casumo focuses on the customer and strives to provide a playground in a safe and secure environment for our players with a variety of game limits available for controlling games. We are sorry to hear about your situation and hope that your recovery is going well, as you mentioned in your email. and help.

Please receive our final notice after a thorough review of your request.

After reviewing your request, we have decided to refund any money you have spent on your Swedish gaming account, registered after January 1, 2019. That is, all your deposits minus withdrawals, during the period January 1, 2019 to June 28, 2019 when the account was closed, which amounts to EUR 6,000. This is something that we do as a gesture of goodwill on our part, because we understand that you are in a difficult situation and we wish we could have gone into an earlier stage and done more for you as a player.

This refund covers the entire amount spent on your Swedish account after it was opened under the Swedish license since January 1, 2019. A payment of this amount has already been made to your bank account which was linked to the gaming account.

For any money you spent on our site prior to January 1, 2019, in your account under our MGA license, no additional amount will be refunded by us based on our assessment of this case.

If you would like to dispute this decision regarding the funds you spent on your account prior to January 1, 2019, under our MGA license, you may contact the Alternative Dispute Resolution Organization (ADR) eCOGRA or contact MGA. If we are notified that we need to make changes to our decision from our ADR, we will correct it.

Alternatively, you can direct your complaint to the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform (ODR), which will then forward it to the relevant ADR unit.

We are able to confirm that your account was closed on June 28, 2019 due to your Game Break self-suspension and will continue to be closed. You will also not receive any marketing messages from us during your self-suspension.

Below you will find no organizations that can help you dig into your gaming problems:

In the post I pointed out the problems very well that it was all before 2019. Why pay for 2019 only if they pay ...
What do you think?

What I think is you are extremely lucky to have already had the amount of refund you have. I think the casinos has clearly stated what you need to do is you are still unhappy but there have been more than fair IMO.

I would also advise now you have had that large amount retuned that you take the advise given to you in the above replies and I sincerely hope you get some help with your problem.

Hard to know the ins and outs of cases like this without the whole story - plus, it's MGA which I'm not au fait with in terms of RG.

What i would say is that Casumo, having been hit by a few fines recently, appear to be relatively confident of not going back pre-2019, so read into that what you may.

What i would say is, if i was the casino and saw a 80k loan as part of their SOW, I would close the players account immediately - same way a bank will, in most cases not underwrite a mortgage if they see a mass of gambling transactions - in the current climate that's mad - but again, you don't have the other sides story.

Do ADR's in MGA even deal with RG?

What is RG? The whole story is basically that I put in so much money and showed that I have problems with games time and time again. It is now that I have had a break I do not understand how this could happen. I didn't even care if it even ruined my life.

But I got pissed when I asked for chat history and all deposits by mail as a common question. Then they permanently block me. For what?? I can no longer cope now that the money is not flowing in. Or don't ask about chat etc ...

Then I grabbed it and just emailed and showed "proof" and repeatedly pointed out that this was valid for 2017-2018.

In the email they regret and take care of the customer. But ONLY after 2019 that I hardly played anything on. Then it is a Swedish license or similar. They mean they were scams before and happened in everything. Tex as a damn loan agreement and no pay in 2 years ...

Who should I contact from the ones they wrote? Have no idea but getting paid for 2019 just feels weird even if it's money. But that's not about it. Without that, why not lock me up when the problems were going on but do it when I take a break ...

Congrats on getting 6K EUR refund ?, you can now use some of it for a new hobby. Some suggestions: gold/silver coins collecting, stamp collecting, model train sets, drone flying,

Thanks, but i dont see it as a win. They pay because my "evidence" was strong. But pay for 2019 only is very strange. Ofcourse not all the money but not even 5% of that amount is a joke...

Im will die with debt so no hobbies

RG = Responsible Gambling

ADR = alternative dispute resolution; like E Cogra. In the UK they deal with payments disputes etc, not any complaints over RG. But as V says re MGA, looks like you can use them for the malta licence.

Tänk på att det låg under deras brittiska licens, vilket är ganska strängt.

So casumo that i played for from 2016 was under a brittish license and not malta?

Thanks for the explaining. Wow what a  fine, damn Casumo. They are built on people like me and they know it.

The answer from Casumo is a joke. Why give me 6K just like that and no explaining why its only 2019 when all the problems was before this year.

I will give them one more chance and after that MGA i think. This case isnt for like complaints people have here like tickets?

I go and talk about gambling with a person. He say this groups maybe is good for me. But im scared.... I dont wanna meet other gambling people i dont know. Small town also ... Would it really do any good dont know.

must read about this pc blocker thing . because all casino is not blocked on this site we have... I just want the money now or at least try to get back what they took. If they bann me when i bann myself. They could have banned me 1 year before atleast.

The only thing i regret is that i never said yes to Tokyo all inclusive, Bahamas, WC soccer in Russia and things like that. That would have been worth thosee money hehe

so they were offering you all those VIP gifts / trips and you declined them cause they would get in the way of you gambling at their site, you would rather be clicking mouse buttons and staring at a screen and getting dopamine hits, than enjoying yourself at those travel destinations (you coulda met some Russian female locals, from what I heard they were very friendly with the visiting tourists which annoyed the Russian men tho heh). It's well known that slot gambling addicts are annoyed when they hit a jackpot at a landbased casinos cause it takes them out of the zone (hand pays take time) and there is a delay to get the payout but in some cases they will just play a slot nearby while they wait for the payout to get processed.

You may find it surprises you - hearing about other folks' stories, even how some are in/have been in a worse position and were they are now, many trigger the jolt that your brain needs to start to climb itself out of the trap.

Bet Blocker etc are good but they're only tools to help, not the solution. End of the day, if you really want to gamble you can go out and buy a cheap mobile to get round it but it may help to nip the urge until your're sorted.

Lets not fool ourselves with casinos displaying 'Responsible Gambling' as part of their mission statement.

Casinos LOVE problem gamblers (and dare say, contribute a lot to their bottom line) - their VIP managers are sent out with one mission: get people to pump more money in, get them to start playing if they've stopped for a while and rinse them for as much as possible. 'Mug Punters' as Ladbrokes once remarked of their VIP customers (seemingly)
