    Many, Many moons ago Casinos appeared to be a bit more generous to the cash cow machines they are now. As it's my birthday tomorrow, it reminded me of my medium-high roller days at Victor Chandler (BV now) and the few years i got some cracking gifts. Also, other as well but they stood out most.

     

    I'd like to anticipate my disappointment by predicting any/if any gifts that will be showered upon me tomorrow by these soul, time and money sucking businesses. I'll run with those with whom i play the most - though i have been surprised by some in the past that I don't play with.

     

    1. Casumo - hahhaha....anyway i will go for a very optimistic prediction of 15 quid

     

    2. Novibet - first year spending a lot with them (mainly DOA) so i say 50 free spins

     

    3. Redbet - nothing. Zilch. Nada. Nein. 

     

    4. Slotsmillion - 5 quid max.

     

    5. Vera John - nothing. 

     

    6. Trada - may be a tenner from them but I'll say nothing, unless i go cap in hand. 

     

    7. Videoslots - VS don't do gifts don't cha know? Race winnings, etc - aye, whatever :rolleyes:

     

    Anyway....I'm off to drive up north a bit in Scotland to go fishing for a few days, drink some single malt and get in a fight with a few locals.

    Well matey...congratulations on your birthday (it's already tomorrow over at my place  :p). 

     

    As to birthday gifts, free spins, bonuses...hmmm...don't expect too much nowadays...but you already know that...but good luck anyway.  :rolleyes:

     

    How about going over to Scotland, fish some single fishes, then get in some fights with the local boyfriends...

    Firstly, a two finger salute dedication to Casumo/Highroller/Novibet - Nada, despite 1000's through their tills  :rolleyes:

     

    Redbet/Winningroom - 50% deposit bonus and ten HIGH VALUE spins. They are a pound and they have x35 play through, so, er thanks

     

    Verajohn - 30 spins in Viking Runecraft

     

    10bet - 30 in emoji planet. Ps - rubbish casino, never deposit there.

     

    Slotsmillion - 50% deposit offer (miserable gits couldn't even extend to 100% and it's 48x playthrough)

    Butlers Bingo - 100 free spins in a god awful MG game...Suntide. It's so bad i don't think i can play it tomo.

     

    And that's about it. I know casinos don't owe anything to players but the sea change from 2007/08 is noticeable. Apart from BV i can remember recently that the Casino Rewards Group would chuck the odd 100 at people. Don't know about market saturation, increased competition or whatever but player retention has hit the skids.

     

    PS - i won't type it here but if anyone plays at Highroller I've noticed something that i'll type in a private message (probably already came across it but if not it may be good to know... ;)  :p )

    Birthdays at casinos are simply rubbish nowadays...better to enjoy birthdays with Sta-lings instead...  8)

    They weren’t shy Coco - for those that can remember or gambling back in the earlyish days, I genuinely looked forward to their presents more than my families :-(

     

    I never received any physical ones, guess I was never loyal enough. Apart from Mr Green who sent me a Lindt advent calendar one Christmas!
