Anyone Played at Gale&martin Casino?

Recommended Posts

None of that really matters since the OP is from the UK and they don't have a UK license!

Yeah...maybe we can ask their head of compliance exactly what his job is.

To the OP - don't play at these clip joints. There are loads of truth worthy UK licensed casinos that will more than cater to what you want.

Hi.

Please send me your username for Gale Martin Casino in PM.

Also note - That only slots are permitted to be played with Bonus funds... You breached this rule when you played - Jacks or Better and Keno

Regarding your claim that you were restricted for Netent etc, all of us are restricted to certain providers when playing bonus funds, I play a lot on this website.

Welcome to Askgamblers

If the OP is in the UK why don't you ask them why he must comply with their terms and conditions given that they don't give a hoot about a country's licensing jurisdiction?

The hypocrisy/irony/whatever is astounding.

I am getting all the relevant/neccesary information regarding the UK license, whether they have 1, also if they can supply with license number should they possess one and also trying to get answers on why accepting UK players if they do not have a license.

I am waiting from my contact to get feedback to me regarding the above questions, please allow some time.

Truly appreciate your efforts mate, but there is really no need...

Their Curacao licence  link - http://www.gaming-curacao.com/validation/vega-world-solutions-n-v/

No other licences listed, so obviously, the operator should NOT accept UK punter.

They don't even have any shame about it, blatenly accepting UK players. I hope the OP comes to read our replies because I think he was oblivious to the fact they didn't have a license!

Like many rogues, they don't care.

So many good yins for the OP to choose from , hope he/she/they do a bit of due diligence of where to play. Saves a lot of headaches in the future (though lets not forgot that some excellent casinos can lose their way)

Sorry all, wrote this last year and with responses early on i'd seen i'd fallen into a trap. Thanks for concern but as low roller £20 can swiftly disappear even on min stakes. Gambled long enough to understand that £20 was disposable and wasn't holding out for big win. So deposit in one of my usual and get £20(i expect to lose and lasts half hour) or take a promo like that for few hours worth while boxing was on. I've beat the wagering a few times on several sites but as ID now expired i stick with VS as verified and a 97%rtp over a year can't complain.

It's okay Arron R we were referring to Drewy79 in our latest responses regarding the UK license. But now I'm hoping you're not from the UK and also played here are you?

Hello, I signed up to your casino earlier and I believe that you should not have allowed it as you do not have a UK license.
Could you look into this please as I do not wish to have an account with an unlicensed casino.
Thanks.
Emma Yorke
We accept players from the UK. Can you tell me your username please?

A Curaçao license isn't a UK license though is it?
Emma Yorke
It is not
By the law of your country, you are allowed to play wherever you like. By the law of our country we are allowed to let you play. When you agree to the Terms and Conditions, you are entering in to an agreement governed by the laws of Curacao. No-one can deny the validity of this agreement.

Yes.
I've just found the following.
Why does the UK have the ideal online gambling licensing?
Only licensed gaming sites can advertise on TV and in print
Illegal for non-licensed gaming operators to accept UK players
Operators are required to provide a dispute resolution service for players
I don't understand. Please remove my account as I do not wish to continue with your casino. Thanks.
Emma Yorke
I will close it now

Hope this helps.

This is or was standard practice across all Alpha sites. What ‘Emma Yorke’ Is saying is absolute BS. They breach licensing, they breach advertising standards all in targeting UK players.

What a shoddy, despicable operator.

Also AI was/is linked to Gametech in the past. So you can add pirating Netents to their lovely list.

Grrr.

Now go to the UKGC, report it and let's see what their response/actions would be, if any of course...

Welcome to AskGamblers though. :)

I already have, along with another issue that has gone unanswered thus far. It’ll have been reported by others in the past anyhow.

I’ll probably get back a vague response along with something that says something like ‘refer to an ADR’

Shame. Only way, I’d imagine if there was a sort of mutual treaty with other licensing jurisdictions.

Incidentally I’d only imagine them being able to issue any legal action if said places has some form of establishment/assets in the UK. But as that won’t be the case there’s little recourse unless you’ve got the equivalent of a double taxation treaty in place.

UKGC seem quite happy to do the headline LeoVegas/888 sanctions.

Quite frankly I’m surprised even some of their approved casinos have been given a licence. Some of the terms are vague at best. But they don’t seem to care - pay the fee and on you go. Even once in a while we will dish out a fine to remind people we exist.

Wish I could disagree with at least a single word of your posts, but cannot since you pretty much described the harsh reality in your typical straightforward, but fair and honest style... :(

Still kinda frustrated when so many UK punters are citing the name of the aforementioned regulator as if it's some 'messiah' you know.  For what is worth, approximately a third of the AGCCS users last year were UK players and we managed to help the majority of them recover close to a million pounds of delayed and/or unfairly confiscated payments. So much with the vastly promoted ADR efficiency... :p

I've a bit of a conscious bias against any form of licence granters/regulators:

All stemmed from being at a conference in which the regulator, responsible for granting licences to company's who issue waste collection licences, proceeded to tell the people around that 'you must vet these places more!' So when i chimed up from the back to say 'Err isn't that your job as you grant and monitor licence conditions, so these guys place reliance upon your due diligence' I was met with hostility, particularly after my parting comment of 'well, if they can't use what you do, i don't really see the point of you' :D

Point being...such bodies are typically 'advisory' in nature.

I'll post their reply - though it may appear a slightly blank response or me being told I'm not a licence holder. Err, yeah thanks for letting me know - i was a bit confused mate

Not saying that because you don't have a UKGC licence you're not a respectable casino - take Casino Heroes until they got theirs again. They had more player friendly terms/better casino that probably 90% of those with one (888 and the rest)

SOW? Well this is going to be a disaster unless the GC step in. But they won't.

Rant over-  I'm off for sausages, soda bread, potato bread, toast, bacon and scrambled eggs

Now I know for sure why you've been asked lately for SOW from so many different operators... Man, that's quite of a hefty and expensive breakfast you got there, right! :p:D

Managed to hit a 400x in five quid bet the other week but that’s been about it. Kinda gave up on BTG a bit as I’m about 6k plus down on them since January. Luckily play n go and dead or alive have covered it.

Queen of Riches is probably one of the highest volatility game I’m played. Literally nothing in the base game.

DHV is a better game than Bonanza I reckon but I do prefer Bonanza. Extra Chilli is just a stinker.

Hand on heart there’s been a change to Bonanzas bonus offerings. 12 months ago a 500x was relatively common but now it’s neigh on impossible. Even that 2200 win I had played well and it was just above 400 :-)

  • 2 weeks later...

How did you even play here? As far as I'm aware they don't have a UK Gambling license do they?

Hi,

I received an email from them saying join now for this large bonus and spins. They don't tell you in advance about not being licensed here in the UK of course. They make it look enticing so you think they are a trustworthy casino. To be avoided at all costs, as like I say it cost me a lot. I should have had alarm bells ringing when I was told Netent games weren't playable in  this country on their system. That is why I created my post and can only apologise for my delay in replying to you now.

Hi Many thanks for all your replies on this topic. I didn't know that they didn't have a UK licence as would never have touched them with a bargepole. I would like to apologise for my delay in replying but have been in hospital.
