New Microgaming's Lost Vegas!!!

What's up my fellow Askgamblerians? We interrupt your program for some breaking news!! Microgaming's New Lost Vegas slot will be hitting the casinos this October!!! Get ready to gear up as the undead will not become restless!! All you survivors out there, find shelter, lock your doors and windows, board them up if you need to, keep all infected individuals at a distance at all times and remember, a single bite WILL KILL YOU!!!!

 

According to the trailer, two modes will be given.......Survivor mode and Zombie Mode. Each modes contain unique random mystery wins and questionable features! In Survivors mode once 3 scatters are triggered, there will be a 25 counter for all A,K,Q,J, and 10 symbols each awarding mystery scatter hits! Towards the dark cold undead side, 10 free spins are given....every stack of zombies appearing on any reel will become red, giving out random stacked wilds (Illuminous is the best reference for this)! The dead will also scan the reels to award scatter wins and free spins (Think Terminator II's scan feature)

 

Keep all these in mind before coming in contact with any infected! The best way to eliminate a zombie is by aiming for the head, a sure shot way to declare their deaths. One bullet is one cured! Hmmm...looks very interesting that new game. It should be fun, but hope it's not another clone of Avalon 2, or Thunderstruck 2, or Terminator 2, or whatever 2. If it is, I'm gonna spend some thinking time in my loo!

I think it looks pretty good and can see this one doing well..... Microgaming releases had become stale with re-skin after re-skin so its nice to see them doing something new.

 

They also have a couple of other releases planned which i think will go down well, so stay tuned!

This game looks cool and easy to win. I don't wanna remind myself that i will not be able to experience it.

 

I love the survivors free spins feature where you have a payout for normal card deck symbols.

UPDATED (7th OCT)

 

Well, I have just spent MORE hours playing both the Survivors side and the Zombies side of Lost Vegas.

In the FUN MODE of course! I'm not gonna waste my money on any Microgaming game, unless I can win from it. 

The payouts are mostly low to very low, but fairly good wins can be had too!

 

The random Fist of Cash pays about 2x-15x total bet;

The Blackout slightly better at 7x-27x total bet;

The Free Spins can be blardy hard to get, and pay as low as 4x, or high up to 82x so far;

 

You should hear the soundtrack for the zombies Free Spins. I love it!

Fast and furious...suitable for Fast and Furious movies...or any fast action movies. 

 

After more hours of solid testing, I find the game not too bad at times,

the paytable is very low indeed but the Free Spins are quite fun,

they're innovative and not the usual free spins as we all know it.

 

Lost Vegas IS DEFINITELY NOT A CLONE!!!

Hmmmm....I still haven't tried it but what worries me most is I'm most excited to hear the music in free spins as opposed to my winning potential. Will report back once I've tried it (in free mode of course)

Yes, the more you listen to it, the more you want to come back. Unbelievably, I'm doing it too! 

 

Lost Vegas is following what Immortal Romance has done to probably millions of its players...by its soundtrack! Whilst IR has several good soundtracks, Lost Vegas has only 1 that I really like, the Zombies Free Spins soundtrack. The base game soundtrack isn't that good though.

 

Like IR, I too keep wanting to play the game again...because of the soundtrack...but still in fun mode.

I've tried this game now and really quite enjoyed it. Whilst it isn't a clone a lot of the ideas in the game are definitely ripped from other slots... I spotted ideas from Terminator 2, Aloha! Cluster Pays and Grim Muerto all rolled into this game... Microgaming could certainly use a little ingenuity at the moment that's for sure.

I found the Survivors mode to be the more "reliable" paying free spins where as the Zombies is definitely one with the biggest win potential. Gonna play it some more at the weekend so might report some more back later, but I'd say it's a hit overall - nice to have a new medium variance 243 ways game to try blaze some bonuses on !
