William Hill Accidentally Pays Players Millions!

This is an interesting one, guys - William has accidentally paid a lot of money into customer accounts, totalling million of pounds. The operator are begging customers to return the money

Jackpots were also added to accounts in error and later removed. 

What arw we feeling about this one guts and what would you do if you were accidentally paid a large sum of cash?

As for me, I will NEVER take any money that isn't mine...I would refund it back to the casino, even if its 100,000 GBP or just 100 GBP.

The players can't cashout until it's approved from the casino so there's that.

The only thing that can happen his players can lose the money while trying to double it.

In the past I have received a small amount from a casino called betsofa, it was $115. I told the casino to take it back.

No I think the malfunction actually paid these winnings into their bank

i had something similar happen on my bwin account. 

suddenly i had 14k more € on it. i also had some super strange transaction history showing up.

contacted support and everything was back to normal a day later.

a few days later i noticed 140€ more and that weird transaction history again.

this time they closed my account. 

now i have to "be responsilbe for every payment in that account" or it stays closed.

 

ofc i triple checked all my devices and mail accs on some kind of breach but i couldnt find anything.

bwin acc is still closed

I would definitely remain passive and see if I could get away with it. A company that by business model preys on the weak gets no sympathy from me. I've had wins wrongfully credited to accounts of mine (other than WillHill) a couple of times through the years and I never said anything, nor did I hear anything later on. Dishonest? Definitely. Do I regret it? No.

no they didnt tell me anything. thats why i didnt accept their terms for reopening my account. i like to gamble but only when i know the odds. this could only have negative consequences so i said good bye to bwin
