I've lost something like $800-1000 chasing a big win(wild swarm style game where you keep feeding the bonus until it triggers) and came out a loser as you would expect(iirc <30x bonus). I'm more the type to deposit $100 and hit $600 on Reactoonz, then withdraw $100-200 and put my bets up and chase even bigger wins. Most of the time I lose quick, sometimes it's a <2k cashout.

My friends Martin & Gale kept calling me while I was playing baccarat, 8 times in a row, too. Never letting that happen again.

Martin & Gale are no longer welcome to call me when I'm gambling.

Probably most of the people will be voting yes for this one. I remember I did chase losses in my early gambling days but luckily my bankroll was quite limited back then and only lost maybe 200-300 euros. I recently did try to pop the dream drop jackpot and put 400 euros into that but that I do not consider as chasing a loss :)

If  there's any gambler anywhere who hasn't ever tried chasing their losses, they must be lying!

I have done it many times as well, but nowadays, with my limited gambling budget, the chasing gets stretched over days or weeks. Each chasing session would be limited to a certain loss amount, but the awaited MEGA WIN would finally come in due time.

Yep, I chase ONLY for the big wins when I'm expecting it to come, otherwise it's minimum bets all the way, all the days. 😇

We all have and that's exactly what gambling is for most of us. We start thinking we are going to double our balance but we lose 10% and now it's all about getting back the lost 10%. Then we lose 20% more and now it's time to get back the losses and so on. Sometimes we win it back and most times we lose it all.

@cocopop3011 I don't think I have heard about your 5k loss. I hope you got some of it back.

Story time please!!!

Have you not? The time I lose 5K on Multiplayer Avalon? Playing £36 a bet! Nope didn't get it back. Went down to 1k and called it a day.

I think almost everyone has done it at least once, especially when they were starting out. I remember a session where I kept increasing my bets just to break even, and I ended up losing three times more than my initial limit. It was a painful but necessary lesson. Now I set strict loss limits before I even start playing to make sure it never happens again.
