The Evolution-Playtech Drama is Unfolding - Who's Side Are You On?

What do you all think about the Evolution Vs Playtech situation at the moment?

If you've not already seen the news, basically, Evolution have accused Playtech of sending Black Cube  after them with a fake smear campaign. Black Cube are a private intelligence firm (known for undercover operations). This included supplying games to black-market countries, posing with fake identities, secretly recording people and editing what they have reported. 

Evolution has gone public with these accusations, and it has caused Playtech's market value to plummet. Investors are naturally worried! It nosedived by almost 40%! However, Evolution is already under a Gambling Commission investigation in the UK for supplying to black-market operations!

So, have Playtech gone too far or do we all think that Evolution are trying to shift the attention away from their own grey-market issues with the UKGC?

There are no good guys in this drama. If Playtech hired private spies, that’s dirty. If Evolution actually breached regulations, that’s illegal. Investors are the only ones losing here while the big players burn the industry’s reputation just to settle a grudge.

i am not a fan of either. evo bought up so many small companies and so the quality of their content went down.

playtech always delivered low quality software (poker clients were fishy but my god they were so awful)

The more I learn about most companies in online gambling the worse I feel about the chance of getting screwed eventually lol. Very few with honour in such industries. Black Frday for Poker showed as much.
