My answer to this is very simple.....

 

PROVEN SYSTEM is not about winning or losing. It's about controlling a flame inside that has been haunting me for decades. The more I continue to follow this way of life and thinking the easier it gets. I also find that when I don't lose, the waiting period looks easier. Time will tell. And time is no friend to a person like me.

 

I am very happy with my play. Didn't hit anything too large but it will eventually come. Not worried about that. For now, my focus is on maintaining control.

Your supposed to be a knowledgable and experienced gambler, with a LIFETIME of play behind you.. yet you will write off a casino, self exclude yourself permanently over a single session? I MIGHT just be able to understand it, if the details of the session were genuinely terrible, but they really are not - you had $200, yet played DOA at nearly $3 per spin and are surprised you busted out? I cannot understand why? You gave yourself barely 70 spins worth of play, thats not even half the number required to trigger a single set of free spins. Why are you surprised it did not show up? And why on earth do you blame the casino? It isn't their fault. You bet WAY too high for your bankroll on a super high variance game. Occasionally you might have a result doing this, but 9/10 times you should expect to lose badly. And you did.

Do you guys even gamble? A 3 $ bet is nothing if you think the game is gonna pay. I got to a balance of 35 euros the other day from a 10 euro deposit raised the bet to 2 euros went down to 5-6 and hit big up to 140. And I cashed out. It's about controlling your deposits and setting your cashout limits. If I sticked to every cashout limit like Johnny does now I would be a lot richer. There were times when I would get up to 3-400 balance and play 5 euro bets. If I win I win if not will try next time. We gamble because we enjoy it, we love it. But keeping control over yourself and your money is the most important.

Believe it or not I have gambled less than four hours this week. I played DOA to hit a biggie. That thing pays when it pays. Wonk took a chance.

Here is how a player like me(donk) uses a minimum cash out.

 

 

I play on three casinos.

 

Let's say I put 250-250-250

 

 

I lose

I lose

I get balance to 2400.........

 

 

Usually what I do, now more than ever...... If I drop to 1500- cash out

 

If I reach 3500...... I raise the minimum cash out to 2500 or 2800.

 

I will keep playing until I reach the minimum cash out. Even if balance is 88000. When it goes to 87000, I will cash.

 

That's an example. It works!

I read this question again and again and thought maybe I did disrespect my PROVEN SYSTEM. But the answer is actually the opposite.....

Everything is running perfectly. No urge, no temptation. Looking forward to Monday.

The only thing that matters is that people understand that I still have a serious illness. It will never go away. I can stop cold turkey if I want for 6 months. Done it many times. But the day after the six months are over.... You don't wanna know.

 

 

This way, I have control. Maybe for now. Who knows what tomorrow brings. I have a large amount of money coming in from a completed project. I can easily take a plane and go to vegAs and blow it all, like many people with similar problems. I am confident in myself that when my cheque shows up, 52% will be given to the canadian governement and the rest will be put for the home. Some renovations and maybe buy the wife a new car. Who knows? But I do know this. Prior to PROVEN SYSTEM, the only thing I would have been doing is thinking of how to blow my large pay. I worked 1 year on this project. My brain is starting to understand there is more to life than gambling. It's working. Valdes, I have never said I have some personal issue with the guy at another forum.  I do not know where that is coming from.

 

I understand what you say about tolerance, friendship and respect.  Most forums in any industry operate in this manner.  But at the same time a forum is intended for discussion.  A big part of that is people will not always agree hence a discussion will take place.  Obviously I do not agree with this system and I have voiced my opinion.  It is just as important for me to voice my opinion as it is the OP to continue to post his information. I have said it before that there is nothing personal.  I clearly want to state my case, so that when others with gambling problems read this they can see an opinion that a system like this is not a solution.  Can you imagine someone else with a major gambling problem reading this thinking "heres another way for me to be gambling"  when they very well know they need to stop.  This ultimately is a very dangerous thread to peoples well being if they have a major gambling issue.   I have not posted anything  out of line.  I have respectfully decided not to agree with a lot of what the  OP says.
